BJP must stop Muslim appeasement undermining the Hindu interest: Dwarka Shankaracharya.

“As Minority, they (Muslims) always get a special advantage than majority Hindus…Why?”

Schemes going on in the name of minorities must be stopped: Swami Sadanand Saraswati, Shankaracharya Dwarka Sharda Peeth.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Prayag Raj | Jan 20, 2023:: Dwarka Sharda Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati has said that giving special benefits to certain communities based on religion is wrong. Asking how a community which is in crores can be called a minority, Swami said this policy should be evaluated. Muslims created a separate country (out of India), but we (Hindus) didn’t. When they are gone, giving minority status to those who are left is an injustice to Hindus, he further said while speaking to HENB, Dainik Jagran and some other press. “Schemes going on in the name of minorities must be stopped, As Minority, they (Muslims) always get a special advantage over the majority Hindus…Why?” asked Dwarka Peeth Shakaracharya.

From a study of the attitude of present PM Narendra Modi, The BJP Govt in the Center is determined to extend all its effort to facilitate the 19.3% minority population with the population of Muslims being highest at 14.2%, followed by Christians 2.3%, Sikhs 1.7%, Buddhists 0.7%, Jains 0.4% and Parsis 0.006%), with various schemes depriving the same for the minority Hindus in nine Indian states.

In February 2022, PM Modi announced a 15 Points programme for notified minorities viz, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Muslims, Buddhists and Parsis, without considering the claim of the minority Hindu and other Hindus who also enjoy the full citizen rights of equality as such.

Of such programmes, the main stakeholders and beneficiaries are obviously Muslims and Hindus are deprived from those scheme facilities.

PM Govt has introduced many new schemes and redesigned many schemes for the minorities and emphasised their share in those others may also be entitled. A listing of such schemes under PM Modi’s 15 Points programme for Minorities may be checked here:

Skill development

Seekho aur Kamao (Learn & Earn): It is a skill development initiative for minorities and aims to upgrade the skills of minority youth in various modern/traditional skills depending upon their qualification, present economic trends and market potential, which can earn them suitable employment or make them suitably skilled to go for self-employment.

Upgrading the Skill and Training in Traditional Arts/Crafts for Development (USTTAD) scheme – Mainly For Muslims 

Nai Manzil -Only For Muslims

Gharib Nawaz Employment Training Programme -Only For Muslims

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) – Other than Muslims can apply

National Minorities Development Finance Corporation (NMDFC) Loan Schemes Only For Muslims and  notified minorities.

Priority Sector Lending by Banks.(Department of Financial Services) – Other than Muslims can apply, special emphasis for Muslims under PM Modi’s 15 Points programme for Minorities

As per available Minister of Minority Affairs data, the Modi government has spent Rs 22,000 crore in the past six years on Minority welfare and has awarded scholarships to around 3.2 crore students belonging to minority communities, namely Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Buddhists and Jains. Analysis shows that of such facilities Muslim stakeholders were the major (90%) beneficiaries. Modi Govt broke that record of minority welfare than the precceding Manmohan Singh Govt as such.

It is told that PM Modi is now much inspired by the thought of RSS Chief’s “Same DNA” theory and instructed his partymen to host Sufi nights, go to church, celebrate Valmiki Jayanti for making an outreach to materialize his vision of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas-Sabka Vishwas” at any cost even damaging the Hindu interest as BJP has reached its saturation of Hindu support.

Now, the point of no return has emerged as the BJP’s whole hearted effort to gain the confidence of Pasmanda Muslims.

‘Pasmanda’, a Persian term meaning “those who have fallen behind,” refers to Muslims belonging to the shudra (backward) and ati-shudra (Dalit) castes. It was adopted as an oppositional identity to that of the dominant ashraf Muslims (forward castes) in 1998 by the Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz, a group which mainly worked in Bihar. Since then, however, the pasmanda discourse has found resonance elsewhere too. According to most estimates, 85 percent of the Muslim population and about 10 per cent of India’s population. Among the communities designated as Pasmanda are the Ansaris, Kunjras, Ghosis, Muslim Telis, Ghanchis, Halalkhors, Muslim Dhobis, Nats and Bhatias. Modi and BJP leaders are now much interested for this chunk of Muslim population to give them reservation and other facilities. Even the BJP leadership is saying that the BJP workers must contact such Muslims whether they vote or not for BJP.

Unfortunately, the BJP leadership and the Master strikers have started undermining the importance of Hindu vote bank and its dignity. This is the most dangerous sign for Hindus in the coming days.

When asked about BJP’s stand on Pasmanda Muslims, the Dwaraka Shankaracharya said, “the policy makers in BJP are totally in wrong foot”.  He also stressed that extending reservation to Muslims or Christians would be a case of encroachment in Reservation of Hindu SC, ST & OBC people.

Swami Sadanada  told HENB, “RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and PM Modi have plenty of time to visit Mosques, Madrasas and Muslim clerics and leaders. But, how many times they have visited the Shankaracharyas and Gurukuls they run for the regeneration of Sanatan Hindu Dharma ”.

The Dwarka Shankaracharya rejected the BJP’s policy of Muslim appeasement undermining the Hindu interest. “At this stage, BJP should not claim their Hindutva identity criticizing other party’s Muslim appeasement. All are in the same boat,” he added.
