Muslim young man converts to Hinduism for his love of Sanatan Dharma and performs havan rituals in Kanpur.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Kanpur | April 11, 2023:: A unique story has come to the fore in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), where Hardoi resident Rahmat Ali adopted Hinduism and become Hrithik Sharma. Rehmat Ali in the premises of the temple of Bajrang Bali, after performing Havan according to the customs of Hinduism, and sprinkling Ganges water, offered water to the Shivling, then touched the feet of the idol of Bajrang Bali and took his blessings and converted to Hinduism. Hrithik told the reporters that he voluntarily adopted Hinduism as his attraction to Sanatan Dharma since childhood.

It is reported that the young man who became Hrithik from Rehmat Ali is basically a resident of Hardoi. His maternal grandfather is in Babupurwa in Kanpur. He came here a few months ago in search of a job. Hrithik told that he is fond of Hinduism since childhood. He does a private job by taking a rented room near Babupurwa. The young man told that he was thinking about converting for the last several months, but his family was not ready for it.

Hrithik also told that apart from participating in Ramlila, Ganesh Mahotsav, and Durga Puja programs, he also used to go to participating in  Kanwar yatra (carrying water pots filling it from the Ganges or Holi water source to offer it to Lord Shiva). “All my friends are Hindus, I stayed with them. During this, I got a chance to know this religion closely. I liked Hinduism better than all other religions. A month back, I had expressed my desire to Bajrang Dal to be converted to Hinduism. I have now adopted the Hindu religion leaving Islam. It is a great pleasure to do so. I have also got myself purified according to the rituals of Hinduism”., Hrithik added.

Hrithik told HENB that he would like to dedicate his life for spreading the greatness of Sanatan Hindu Dharma to build communal harmony and peace. He also expressed his wish to learn Havan and Puja-path in a proper way and to teach others sincerely.
