Upendra Bharti | HENB | Varanasi | Feb 3, 2024::Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee, which looks after the affairs of the Gyanvapi mosque, had called for a bandh on Friday in Varanasi on Friday. The effect of the bandh was visible in market areas in Dalmandi, Nai Sadak, Nadesar and Ardal Bazar.
Shops in the city’s Muslim-dominated areas remained closed and the police sounded an alert in the entire district ahead of the Friday namaz, following the district court order to allow Hindu prayers in a south cellar (‘Vyasji ka Tekhana’) of the Gyanvapi mosque.
In such way, the shameful Muslims create unrest in Varanasi to protest Sanatan worship in Gyanvapi even ASI report cleared the doubt of being it a Hindu Temple.
High alert has been sounded in Varanasi district on the first Friday namaz after the district court’s order. Police Commissioner Ashok Mutha Jain held a meeting with police officials late last night on the security arrangements. Additional police force has been mobilised from neighbouring districts to maintain peace during the day. Additional security forces have been deployed near Kashi Vishwanath Dham and nearby areas. Rapid Police Force (RPF) has been placed in the sensitive areas.

From a source it has been divulged that the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee along with UP Sunni Wakf Board and Muslim Personal Law Board are silently preparing for a movement from next Friday calling a “Yaum E Gham” (Day of Sorrow) in all Muslim dominated areas in Uttar Pradesh to protest the ‘Hindu Worship in Gyanvapi’.
In the meanwhile, the Allahabad High Court refused to give any relief to Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee as appealed to stop Hindu worship in Gyanvapi.
The committee had moved the high court within hours of the Supreme Court refusing to hear its plea against the Varanasi district court order and asking it to approach the high court. Justice Rohit Ranjan Agrawal passed the order of ‘adjournment’ while hearing an appeal and posted the matter on Feb 6 for hearing,
A Varanasi district court had ruled on Wednesday that a priest can perform prayers before the idols in the southern cellar (‘Vyasji Ka Tekhana’) of the Gyanvapi mosque.
The shameful Muslims are preparing for a big clash over the Gyanvapi issue in coming days as apprehended by violating the judicial orders.
On Feb 2, some 250 Hindu saints and monks assembled in a meeting in Varanasi with their demand to hand over the Gyanvapi to the Hindus for worship without any obstacle. From the meeting Swami Jitendrananda Saraswati conveyed a message to the Muslims to restrain, otherwise the Hindus may retaliate.
