Bajrang Dal Holds ‘Trishul Diksha’ Ceremony in Gwalior; Youth Pledge to Uphold Hindutva and Protect Cows.

Hridya Bharti | HENB | Gwalior | Oct 9, 2026:: A ‘Trishul Diksha’ (trident initiation) ceremony was held in Gwalior on Thursday to mark the founding day of the Bajrang Dal. During the event, young participants received trishuls (tridents) and took pledges to uphold Hindutva, protect Gau Mata (Mother Cow), and safeguard Sanatan Dharma.

Following the ceremony, Bajrang Dal activists carrying tridents took out a procession through the city. The procession passed through Patali Hanuman, Hazira, Sewanagar, and Kila Gate before concluding at the venue.

Bajrang Dal leader Hari Sengar stated that the organisation was founded on October 8, 1984. He said the objective of the Trishul Diksha ceremony was to inspire young people to uphold Hindutva, protect Gau Mata, and preserve Sanatan Dharma.

Sengar also claimed that the Hindu community in Gwalior was facing persistent attacks, particularly in areas such as Sewanagar. He said the Trishul Diksha ceremony was intended to convey a message of unity among Hindus and emphasise the importance of protecting their religious and cultural identity.

The police made extensive security arrangements to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents during the ceremony and the subsequent procession.
