New Delhi | Sources: DNA – First Post – CNN IBN – Agencies | 9 May 2013:: Shafiqur Rahman Barq, a Member of Parliament from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, was seen walking out of the lower house as Vande Mataram was being played before the house was adjourned sine die on Wednesday, 8 May 2013. The act has created an uproar amongst the opposition demanding for action to be taken against him. This communal Islamist, Shafiqur Rahman Barq is belonging to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), a party established under the ideologies of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, known as the maker of Indian Constitution.

Shafiqur defended his act in a TV interview (CNN-IBN) and said that he isn’t even sorry for his act and he feels he hasn’t done anything wrong. The Muslim MP said, “I won’t apologise to anyone. I respect the National Anthem, not the national song Vande Mataram. Vande Mataram is an ode to motherland. Muslims like me bend only before Allah, not before any other god or motherland.”

The speaker of the house Meira Kumar demanded for an explanation and asserted that such blatant disrespect for the National song should not be repeated.

“Members have no right to insult the National Song especially when they have taken oath. The Speaker has taken the right move by naming the MP. He has insulted Parliament,” BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told reporters outside Parliament . BJP demands firm action against the communal MP belonging to Bajujan Samaj Party. But the reaction from BSP is still unavailable.

On the other hand, “India is a democracy, there is secularism here. Under secularism when there are 30 crore Muslims living in the country you have to be considerate towards their emotions as well,” a communal Barq said.

“I request that Muslims not be compelled to sing this song since it is against the Sharia.. the song tells people to bow before Bharat Mata and as it not to bow down to Allah, we will not sing it”, he said.

Strangely enough, despite the opposition by some Muslim leaders to some of the words of the song, no other Muslim MP chose to express their opposition to the song in a similar manner.

However, Burq is no stranger to strange behaviour in Parliament when the occasion has demanded it. In the past, specifically December 2012, Burq waved a black flag in Parliament to protest against the Babri Masjid demolition.

A day after he walked out of Lok Sabha during the rendition of Vande Mataram, BSP MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq struck a defiant note saying he could not sing the song in view of his religious belief.

“I absent myself when Vande Mataram is played to avoid any awkward situation but here I was present when it was being played” – Barq said, indicating that he was caught in a situation that he normally ducks.

An angry Speaker Meira Kumar ticked off Barq for walking out during the national song when Parliament was being adjourned sine die on Wednesday. “One honourable member walked out when Vande Mataram was being played. I take very serious view of this. I would want to know why this was done. This should never be done again,” Kumar said.

Asked in a TV interview on Thursday how other Muslim MPs were present during the song, Barq parried the query saying that was a different matter but he couldn’t do the same.

With the issue having the potential of flaring into a political controversy, it remains to be seen how the BSP leadership reacts.

The BJP was quick to launch an offensive, calling Barq’s walkout “Taliban-like conduct”, adding that such leaders did not have the right to be parliamentarians or even citizens of the country.

“Every session of Parliament, which is the temple of democracy, starts with the national anthem and ends with the rendition of the national song Vande Mataram. This has been the practice since Independence. Unfortunately, the national song has been dishonoured,” BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

“By boycotting the national song, he has insulted the Constitution and its norms. Those who hate Vande Mataram not only have no right to be a part of Parliament but also have no right to live in this country,” Naqvi added.

CENTRE TO REVIVE COMMUNAL VIOLENCE BILL.

New Delhi |7 April 2013 | DHNS :: Keeping in mind the coming elections, Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde is reviving the controversial communal violence bill, gathering dust in the North block for close to two years now, empowering the Centre to declare an area communally disturbed for deploying security forces even without the consent of the state.

The ministry has sought legal vetting of the Union Law Ministry on the draft bill UPA is keen to table in second half of the budget session of Parliament which begins on April 22. The cabinet will take up the revised draft of the bill, seeks to protect religious and linguistic minorities, post nod from the law ministry.

Union Minister for Minority Affairs K Rahman Khan is believed to have laid stress on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Shinde to bring the bill in the coming session of Parliament. Though it would be difficult for the UPA to get the bill passed from both the Houses given the paucity of numbers, the Congress hopes to reap political advantage merely by introducing it in both the Houses as it would send the right message to the minorities ahead of crucial elections to six states and later Lok Sabha.

Other than that, it would help the party target the BJP as well as the Samajwadi Party in the Uttar Pradesh which has witnessed communal violence often.

After the bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha way back in 2005, it was referred to the Standing Committee on Home for deliberations. The report of the standing committee was not acceptable to the Muslims which prompted the ministry to rework on it, said sources.

The ministry’s draft “largely sticks” to the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi-led National Advisory Council’s (NAC) version of the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Reparations) Bill, 2011.

Earlier, the Home Ministry had to shelve the bill owing to strong opposition from political parties, especially the BJP which had termed the move as “dangerous” and an intrusion into the federal structure of the country.

Many political parties had reservation on the bill content given the provisions included transferring of the communal cases outside the state for a just trial.To check the bias administrations have displayed in handling communal cases in the past, the draft bill binds the Central and the state governments and their bureaucracy to exercise their powers in an impartial and non-discriminatory manner to prevent and control targeted violence, including mass violence, against religious or linguistic minorities, Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes.

Upananda Brahmachari | Lucknow | 5 March 2013 :: The baseless Home Minister of India, Sushil Kumar Shinde has now been exposed in broad day light as he had no evidence to give any proof for his alleged blame upon RSS and BJP link with Saffron Terrorism or Hindu Extremism. A revelation came up in connection with a RTI matter filed by activist Urvashi Sharma and actually knocked the Home Ministry and stamped Sushil Kumar Shinde as a blatant liar.

Moreover, the government also failed to indicate the total number of incidents of violence have been persecuted upon the minorities in the country. The information sought under the RTI Act, now has been emerged as a big embarrassment for Congress and UPA Govt in the Center.

The Government in the Home Ministry has also failed to indicate the information about the total number of incidents of infiltration and places of insurgency in the country time to time, as there is no record lying with GOI as replied against the RTI matter filed by activist Urvashi Sharma.

In January, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde alleged in the Congress Contemplation Conclave (Chintan Shivir) at Jaipur, Rajasthan that the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh were organizing ‘terrorist training camp’ as a part Hindu terrorism in the country, as per available reports to him. RSS and the BJP then criticized Sonia Gandhi and Sushil Shinde for such baseless allegation and demanded apology for Shinde’s statement .

Union Minister of External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid also voiced at that time in favor of the statement of Shinde and opined that whatever Shinde said was based on the facts. However Khurshid rejected then the terrorism to be linked with any religion.

On January 28 this year, RTI activist Smt. Urvashi Sharma submitted an application under RTI (Right to Information Act, 2005) in an attempt to get answers to seven point questions to Prime Minister’s Office in connection with Sushil Kumar Shinde’s alleged claim of organizing terror training camp by BJP and RSS.

Smt. Sharma applied to get the certified copy/copies of those records available with Government of India that can establish the statement by the Home Minister for involvement Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with Hindu terrorism through operating the terror training camps as alleged.

The RTI application also demanded list of places and numbers of such BJP and RSS run Hindu terrorism training camps in details within India and abroad. The application also sought any Order, (if any), from Govt to discriminate or segregate or brand any act of terrorism with caste, creed or religion.

It was also demanded in the RTI application to provide the details of infiltration and insurgency in India and the actions so far taken by the Govt to combat all these infiltration and insurgency so far.

The RTI application also demanded to provide the copies of the investigation reports of the Blast in Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and Malegaon blast.

In a very casual fashion, the concerned office has given a reply that the Home Minister clarified all the related matter through his statement on 20th Feb in which he stated the possibility of mis-interpretation of his statement in this row.

In connection of investigation reports as demanded for Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and Malegaon blast, it was conveyed by the GOI that these are beyond the purview of RTI Act.

Though Shinde has been exposed for his nefarious work of equating Hindu Nationalism with Jihadi Terrorism, the main stream media still keep aloof for such a serious matter of ‘Active Jihadi Groups in Congress’. If not, why Shinde was throwing stones from a fragile glass house of Congress?

We must congratulate Smt. Urvashi Sharma, the RTI activist here, who exposed a blatant liar named Sushil Kumar Shinde, a baseless man, joker of Congress and a servant of Sonia.

Now, everybody is seeing a shameless Shinde who tried to equate the ‘Pure Nationalism’ with ‘Jihadi Terrorism’. There are so many Shinde in Congress to promote Talibanism in Bharat (India) by trashing out Real Nationalist Force in this land of Hindus.

To find a solution to change this situation, we have to re-establish a Hindu Rashtra in Bharat without delay. Otherwise, the Dharma, Shrines, Saints, Society will be a fatal target of Jihadi Terrorism, Evangelic Conspiracy and Foreign Attacks time and again.

Mumbai Hindus created a Saffron History by taking a vow to make a Hindu Rashtra in Bharat on Republic Day by denouncing Anti-Hindu and Saffron Terrorism Thesis by Congress and UPA Govt.

Thousand of saffron clad Hindus took out a huge protest rally from Kabutarakhana at West Dadar (Mumbai) and went upto Fire Brigrade, Dadar East near Dadar Central Rly Station via Shiv Sena Bhwan, Plaza Cinema, Dadar TT and adjacent areas. Slogans demanding the resignation of the both the Home Ministers in Central and Maharashtra Govt rented the air with a vehement condemnation of anti-Hindu and Pro-Jihadi stand of Congress Govts. Leaders and supporters of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, Shiva Sena, Rashtriya Warkari Sena, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Jain Seva Sangha, Ved Vidya Gurukul Ashram, Jai Maharashtra Mitra Mandal, Hindu Manavadhikar Manch, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Bajrang Dal, Vajra Dal, Hindu Warriors, Hindu Vidhinya Parishad, Dharma Seva Pratisthan, Ahimsha Sangha, Raghuveer Manavata Goraksha Sangathan and other Hindu organisations actively participated in the rally to regenerate a strong message of Hindutva to pull down any anti Hindu force in a Hindu majority state like Bharat.

Shouting of slogans demanding Hindu Rashtra in Bharat, condemning anti Hindu administration of Congress and UPA Govt, denouncing Pakistani and Islamic Terrorism and protesting the level of Terrorism upon Hindutva and Saffron identity of Hindu sacrifice and valour created a great attraction for the passers by and the local citizens who also participated in the rally spontaneously. Big Cut out of National Hindu leaders like Chatrapati Shivaji, Swami Vivekananda, Bal Gangadahar Tilak, Santyntraveer Savarkar, Bhagat Singh and inspiring slogans of Hindutva all relation Saffron Sacrifice of Hindutva and Nationalism marked the rally in a positive direction. Rebuilding Sri Rama Temple at Aydhoya, stop torture upon Kashmir Hindus, immediate hanging of Afzal Guru (attacker of Indian Parliament), significance of Hindu Vote Bank were the other major topics of slogans and posters got importance in the rally.

Prasad Vadke, Senior Activist of HJS addressed the rally by saying, Hindus are still 80% of the populace in Bharat and they have a certain pride and respect to the saffron as a symbol of sacrifice and self identity. But, an obstinate Sushil Kumar Shinde declared Hindus as terrorist. Hindus will give a befitting reply by pulling down the Congress Ruling from Delhi to end up their hobnobbing with anti Indian Jihadi force sponsored by Pakistani counterparts.

Prominent Marathi Writer and Hindu Mahasabha Leader, Sri Durgesh Parulkar told the audience that he has three questions to Mr Sushil Shindhe. 1. Three years back some terrorist elements killed some on duty police personnel in Vibvandi (Thane, Maharashtra) by hitting with stones and putting fire on them. What was the colour of Terrorism by then? 2. Who attacked the Maharashtra Police and molested Women Police contingent near Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus in the connection with Azad Maidan hooliganism and what was colour of traitors of the Nation? and 3. What is the colour of those protesters of the historical picture of Chatrapati Shivaji killing Afzal Khan? Sri Parulkar also said that Congress Govt actually wants to defame saffron ideology of Hindutva equated with sacrifice for demeaning the traditional ethos of “Idam Rashtrya Swaha – Idam na Mama ( All these are sacrificed to the Nation, nothing is meant for me), only to grab all the National property and prosperity by the corrupted Congress leaders.

Respected Bapu Maharaj Raokar of Warkari Mandali said that this coward Sushil Shindhe should resign immediately unless he is capable enough to cut off at least two heads of Pakistan soldiers in a retaliation ofthe recent beheadment of Indian soldiers in Poonch sector in Kashmir. He urged the Hindus topull downthe anti-Hindu Congress Govt in Delhi in the coming parliamentary election of 2014.

HJS leader, Sri Manoj Khade described that the statement of Sushil Shinde came as a part of international conspiracy of Pan Islamic design to gear up Islamic subversiveness India to straggled down the National Spirit of Hindutva to make a new Pakistan in India. But, he warned the central Govt of India that Sushil Shinde put the fire in the tail of Hanuman again. Now the Hindu Power will completely the burn the Lanka Dynasty of Delhi run by Congress and allies.

Sushri Priyanka Ligade of Hindu Vidhanya Parisad and Advocate of Mumbai High Court pointed out that the Congress Govt in Delhi may be affected bu jaundice and relied yellow journalism and its sources against Hindu Patriotism. And consequently seeing all these saffron series in every vision in illusion. This Govt has lost its credibility through the unfathomable corruption and Delhi Gang rape. They have lost it right to say anything about the nationalist Hindus so far.

Sri Upananda Brahmachari of Hindu Existence surfaced the nonsense of Shusil Kumar Shindhe. He expressed doubt about Shinde’s knowledge and faith about the Saffron History and Hindu heritage of this Holy land. Brahmachari reminded that Chatrapati Shivaji accepted the Saffron Flag of Hindu Padpadsahi as a blessings from his Guru (mentor) Samartha Ramdas Swami. This saffron flag were set atop the chariot of Arujana driven by Lord Shri Krishna in the Kurukhestra War to establish the truth, justice and divinity in this world. The same saffron flag was adorned by Maharana Pratap. This Saffron spirit always took the challenges of the invaders like Mughals or the British. He emphasized upon the balance of Brahma Tej (Intellectual Spirit) and Khastra Tej (Warrior Spirit) in the regeneration of Hindu Revolution in Bharat once again. Brahmachari urged Nation wide agitations like this type of Saffron Rally against anti-Hindu propaganda and Jihadi subversiveness in every corner of Bharat.

Sri Abhay Vartak, National Co-Ordinator of Sanatan Sanstha pointed out that the conflicts between good and evil is not a new thing. Hindus are always determined to defeat and crush out the evil forces from this holy land. The Muslim inclination of Sushil kumar Sindhe or the anti-Hindu stand of Congress Govt can only be destroyed by establishment of a Hindu Rashtra in Bharat. Further, Sri Vartak told that the establishment of a sure Hindu Rashtra is a divine design of Hindu saints and also categorically indicated by Sri Sri Bhaktaraj Maharaj,the supreme exponent of Bhakti Andolan in Maharashtra in contemporary age. In that legacy Sri Sri Jayant Athavale the founder of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also visualized a Hindu Rashtra in Bharat within 2025. Bhagavan Krishna established the Dhram Rashtra in Bharat through Kurukhestra. He will certainly re-establish the same Dharmarashtra once again in Modern Bharat. The supporters and workers of Hindu Rashtra is only the tools of a divine design of Lord Sri Krishna.

PTI | Jan 20, 2013 |Jaipur & New Delhi :: Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has accused the BJP and the RSS of fanning Hindu terrorism, a charge which drew angry reaction from both of them.

“Reports have come during investigation that BJP and RSS conduct terror training camps to spread terrorism… Bombs were planted in Samjhauta express, Mecca Masjid and also a blast was carried out in Malegaon.

“We will have to think about it seriously and will have to remain alert,” Shinde said at the AICC meeting in Jaipur on Sunday.

As his remarks were slammed by RSS and BJP which termed them as “dangerous” and accused Congress of indulging in “destructive politics”, Shinde stuck to his stand, saying, “This has come so many times in the papers… It is not a new thing that I have said today.

“This is saffron terrorism that I have talked about. It is the same thing and nothing new. It has come in the media several times,” the home minister said.

To a question if it was Hindu terrorism or saffron terrorism, he said, “This is saffron terrorism (that) I have stated.”

Charging Congress with having a “destructive mindset which was reflected in the home minister’s statement”, BJP said it was “very objectionable”. “It is not only unacceptable but dangerous also,” party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

“There cannot be anything worse that the country’s home minister giving such an objectionable statement to disrupt peace and harmony of the country,” Naqvi told reporters in Delhi.

Terming RSS as a “nationalist organisation”, the BJP leader said, “Sonia Gandhi should apologise. Rahul Gandhi and home minister should also apologise, otherwise there will be serious consequences. This is not accepted. Such baseless things when said by home minister amounts to giving clean chit to real terrorists.”

“Sometimes I feel that Congress has become a group of cowards (kayaron ki jamaat). I am terming Congress as a group of cowards because repeated terror strikes are happening in the country, terrorists are mushrooming here.

“They abolished the tool to fight terrorism,” he said in an apparent reference to scrapping of POTA.

Attacking the home minister, RSS spokesman Ram Madhav described his statement as “highly irresponsible” and said he had made the remarks only to please his party bosses.

“If a Congress leader had said something like this it wouldn’t have mattered that much, but if the home minister of the country is saying something like this, it is highly irresponsible. Zeenews Bureau |Jan 20, 2013 | New Delhi :: Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s claims on ‘Hindu terror’ has triggered a huge political controversy with the BJP on Monday accused the Congress of indulging in vote bank politics and demanded resignation of Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.

“What is the meaning of joining Hindu and saffron colour with terror? It is a downright insult of India’s spiritual, cultural and civilisational heritage. Hindus has always been generous… India is secular because Hindus respect the other view,” party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.

“Saffron is the beacon of India’s spiritual and religious heritage, what is the intention behind linking saffron with terror?” he added.

“Forces in Pakistan will be the happiest today; Pakistan is always in a mode of denial, whether it is 26/112 or attack on the border, they will say look at what your home minister is saying,” Prasad said, adding, “When SIMI or Indian Mujahideen was banned, did we ever say it is Muslim terror? A terrorist is a terrorist regardless of his faith.”

Referring to the Sethu Samudram row, the senior BJP leader demanded an answer from Congress president Sonia Gandhi on what he termed as the repeated hurtful attacks on Hindu sentiments always.

“The BJP will not tolerate the use of Hindu terror or saffron terror in India. Sushilkumar Shinde must be sacked and PM and Sonia must tender unconditional apology,” he said.

Prasad also slammed Congress Digvijay Singh for his comments linking RSS with terror, while also accusing the Congress of indulging in vote bank politics.

“These are copy book cases on rank vote bank politics on terrorism and questioned the delay by the government in deciding on the mercy plea of Afzal Guru and its alleged slow response on the issue of illegal immigration,” he said.

He also announced that the BJP will launch a nationwide protest against UPA government on January 24 against Sushilkumar Shinde. >>Read details in Zee News.

Ramjanmabhumi: Twenty years on, a refusal to see the truth

On December 6, 1992, a superstructure called the Babri Masjid standing in the city of Ayodhya, came crashing down. It remains even today a traumatic event for the nation, because modern Indians have not yet been weaned on a true history of India, and hence a large section of our educated classes still view the destruction of the structure as criminal vandalism. What happened exactly? There was a superstructure built on the site of an ancient temple after demolishing it. That was the real vandalism.

Two years earlier, by a coincidence, on the same month and day, I had met representatives of the VHP and BJP at a house, next door to mine, on Mathura Road. The newly sworn in Prime Minister, the late Chandrashekhar, had asked me (I was then his newly sworn in senior most Cabinet Minister) that as the new Union Law& Justice Minister, I should talk to them about withdrawing their proposed nation-wide stir slated to begin on December 9, 1991 for building a Ram temple at the site the super-structure had then stood in its gloomy glory. He told me to assure the VHP that our government would get removed the Babri Masjid with the consent of Muslim leaders through discussions.

The VHP and BJP leaders I met readily agreed to call off the stir since we were a new government. Their decision to go on a stir was taken when VP Singh was in power – his government fell in November. Thereafter, in January 1991, talks initiated by Chandrashekhar himself began with the Muslim leaders. Unfortunately, despite the zig-zag progress in the talks, our government did not last long enough to fructify it. Had history taken a different turn and our government lasted for a year more, I am confident we would have amicably liberated the Ranjanmabhoomi for building a befitting Ram temple, that too with the consent of the Muslim community, even though the Government was in the minority in the Parliament.

From my personal experience as a Minister in a minority government, I can therefore say that lack of majority is no excuse for implementing any agenda, if the leadership had the mindset to get things done. As a Minister of Law &Justice, for instance, I got the controversial Sessions Judge of Faizabad, KM Pandey, a High Court judgeship, despite the fact that the previous V.P. Singh’s “three-legged” government had issued orders on file that since Pandey had directed the locks on the so-called Babri Masjid be removed in 1986, he should never be made a High Court judge.

Mulayam Singh was our Chief Minister of UP, but with firmness I got his protests sufficiently moderated to his permit me to go ahead. He cooperated because he knew I would do it anyway– make Pandey a judge of the High Court-and hence he acquiesced since he wanted other things done for him by me,. The same clarity enabled the Chandrashekhar government to get Saifuddin Soz’s kidnapped daughter freed without releasing any dreaded terrorists. There are methods for doing that-mostly based on retaliation. In each case it is the mindset of those elected to high office that matters, not the size of the parliamentary majority or lack of it.

It was this mindset that enabled the Chandrashekhar government to nearly solve by an agreement the question of building of a Ram temple in Ayodhya. However, the government however fell before it could be clinched. But could the Babri Masjid have been demolished in a more legally authorised way? Hindus should not be defensive in the face of an onslaught by the fashionable secularists about removing mosques built on where temples had once stood, because the Supreme Court has held in the Faruqui vs. Union of India case [(1994)6 SCC360], that a masjid is not an essential part of Islamic theology, and these can and have been be demolished for public good.

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and even in British-ruled undivided India, Masjids have been demolished to facilitate roads. The government of Saudi Arabia did not think twice before demolishing the Bilal Masjid in Mecca where Prophet Muhammed used to read namaz. A masjid, like a church, is not a religious place in the sense a temple is. Masjids and Churches are places for worship, i.e., buildings which serve as facilitation centres for namaz and prayer. Namaz can be read anywhere even on a railway platform. In the United States, the VHP buys disused Churches and converts them into temples, and yet no Christian there objects.

But temples, once it is shown that a prana prathista puja has been performed to build it, is where God or deity resides, and belongs to God forever. As Union Law&Justice Minister in 1991 I got our government legal team to prove this to the satisfaction of the House of Lords in Britain, to bring back a Nataraja statue taken from a disused Thanjavur temple. It was at Rajiv Gandhi’s request I took interest in the case!

Of course, because of this fact about masjids and churches, no one in a democracy has the right to take the law into his own hands to demolish them. But on the other hand, a government can remove in a legal and orderly way the masjids in Ayodhya, Kashi, and Brindavan (this mention is supposed to be Mathura as the birth place temple of Lord Krishna – Ed. HE), in fact in 300 other places, to rebuild the original temples under law. We can get Muslims to cooperate in this. I am confident of this. Babri Masjid was built as an affront to Hindus. Otherwise it could have been built anywhere else since namaz can be offered anywhere. Hindus have however prevailed because despite 800 years of Islamic and 200 years of Christian domination, Bharat today is still over 80 per cent Hindu and a continuum of an ancient civilisation. Hence, now we must resolve to rectify what is essential to rectify and reclaim. For that, the restoration of three holy sites, in Ayodhya, Vrindavan, and Kashi, is necessary. Patriotic politicians must resolve: Come our way or go the highway.

But it is easier said than done to expect that politicians would do or die for it. As our rudderless democracy has drifted, we are today in a “match-fixing mode” even in electoral contests. In Tamil Nadu, the DMK and AIADMK are bitter enemies, but in most crucial constituencies, a match-fixing arrangement for money have been worked out for decades between Sasikala of the AIADMK and Arcot Veerasamy of the DMK, who are alter egos of their respective top leaders, and determined to keep out the Hindutva forces from Tamil Nadu.

The same match-fixing disease has spread to other parties nation-wide. We have to cure it before it completely debilitates and destroys our democracy as it has done in Banana Republics of Latin American countries such as Colombia and Peru.

The reluctance today to confront and expose the anti-Hindu personages in Parliament, academia and media because of this disease of “match-fixing”. It is said that such attacks would be “personal” and “counter productive”. There is however nothing “personal” in such directed and organised attacks. Just as the world focused on Hitler or Mussolini, without thinking of it being personal, therefore we should identify and expose especially the person who today has emerged as the fountain head of the anti-Hindutva campaign.

But we cannot prevail in this struggle, if we have in our midst those suffering from the “Arjuna virus” as-the late Swami Chinmayananda once pointed out, referring to Arjuna’s initial reluctance to fight at Kurukshetra. The Babri Masjid legacy is that virus we still have to cure twenty years later.

India has long suffered at the hands of jihadists. At least 80 million Hindus have been slaughtered in jihadi wars. Centuries of persecution, oppression, genocide.

The history of India is teeming with Muslim monsters such as Timur the Terrible, who paraphrased the Koran: “‘O prophet, make war against the infidels and treat them severely.’ My great object in invading Hindustan (India) had been to wage a religious war against the infidelHindus.” And he did. Hundreds of thousands of Hindus were beheaded and towers made of their skulls. The warrior Babur was particularly fond of raising higher and higher towers of Hindu heads that the Muslims had cut off during and after every battle. He loved to sit in his royal tent and watch this spectacle. On one such occasion, the ground flowed with so much blood “and became so filled with quivering carcasses that his tent had to be moved thrice to a higher level.” (That’s from The Koran and the Kafir, by A. Ghosh.) He only missed the “merit” ofdemolishing temples and breaking symbols and images because his predecessor Firuz Tughlak hardly left any for him in the territories he traversed.

The record of jihad in India is extremely and unimaginably bloody. Mahmud of Ghazni, Mohammed Ghori, Firuz Tughlak, Timur, Muzaffar Shah, Mahmud Begarha, Mahmud Khalji, Ilyas Shah, Babur, Sher Shah Suri, Akbar the Great, Jahangir, Shah Jahan, Aurangzib, Abdali, Tipu Sultan, Siraj-ud-Daula, and so many others all persecuted, humiliated, tortured, terrorized, and slaughtered the Hindus throughout Islamic history in India.

Ban on Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Site will produce a Stronger and Unbeatable Hindu Media in Bharat.

History repeats itself. The days of suffocating British Raj is back again through a notorious Italian lady, Sonia Gandhi nee Sonia Antonio Maino, (the real Vatican representative) and her Indian counterparts by censoring Hindu Media in a gag. The present Congress led UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Govt. in India has banned numerous Hindu websites, blogs and pages in social media including http://hindujagruti.org the internet organ of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, a famous Hindu organisation with world reputation. Pro Muslim and Pro Christian Congress Party in a mood to persecute the majority Hindus all along.

If we want to look back the repression in the British Raj, we see that the infamous “Gagging Act” of 1857 has been passed following the 1^st Great Indian War against the British. It sought to regulate the establishment of printing presses and to restrain the circulation of printed mater. All presses had to have a license from the government. No distinction was made between publications in English and other regional languages. The Act also held that no printed material impugning the motives of the British Raj, tending to bring it hatred and contempt and exciting unlawful resistance to its orders. When the British Government found that the Gagging Act was not potent enough to repress all Nationalist sentiments, it went on to create a more forcible law, designed in part by Sir Alexander Arbuthnot and Sir Ashley Eden, Lieutenant Governor of Bengal. In the course of time, the Vernacular Press Act was passed in 1878 under the Governor Generalship and Viceroyalty of Lord Lytton, for ‘better control” of Indian language newspapers. The purpose of the Act was to control the printing and circulation of seditious material, calculated to produce disaffection, which was already present, against the British Government in India in the minds of the masses.

So far, thirty five vernacular papers in Bengal, including the Amrita Bazar Patrika, the editor of which was one Mahatma Sisir Kumar Ghose. Sir Ashley Eden summoned him and offered to contribute to his paper regularly, if he allowed what he published to go under scanner by Sir Ashley’s office first. Ghose refused, and remarked that “there ought to be at least one honest journalist in the land.” The Vernacular Press Act might be said to have grown from this incident. About the time the Act was passed, Sir Ashley remarked in a speech that forty five seditious writings published in fifteen different vernacular papers were presented before him before the Act was finalized. The Vernacular Press Act stated that any magistrate or Commissioner of Police had the authority to call upon any printer or publisher of a newspaper to enter into a bond, undertaking not to print a certain kind of material, and confiscate any printed mater it deemed objectionable. The affected party could not seek redress in a court of law. General threats to the Indian language press were these:

1. Any attempt to subvert the functioning of democratic institutions.

2. Agitations and violent incidents.

3. False allegations against British authorities or individuals.

4. Attempts at endangering law and order to disturb the normal functioning of the state.

5. Threats to internal stability.

Any one or more of the above were punishable by law. No redress could be sought in any court in the land.

In such a way of violation of jurisprudence and toeing the nature of democracy, the Britishers banned most of the Nationalist news papers and periodicals and also proscribed the writings of Vivekananda, Tilak, Aurobinda, Subhas, Savarkar and so on to curb on the struggle for freedom prior to our Independence in 1947.

Those black days are overlapping in a situation of semi-emergency now in Bharat (India), when the present heirs of those colonial authorities are repeating the same thing by banning Hindu Media to dismantle the unachieved Struggle for Hindu Freedom in Bharat. The corrupt Congress or the UPA is shameless. The so called social interlocutors and the media magnets are also magnificently malafide in nature. So, we must condemn all of them with our utmost resentments.

As per reports the Govt in India has banned over 300 sites, blogs and pages, most of them are managed by Hindu individuals and organisations, without giving any intimation to the site owners. It is told that this ban has been made upon precautionary or preventative measures to check the Assam aftermath. But, there is hardly any Hindu retaliation yet in any corner of India except Assam, so that we may collect any evidence as a proof in connection with any repercussion generated from any Hindu site. But, most of the active Hindu sites are banned and the reactionary Muslim sites are allowed for the subversive activities against our Country and its people.

Those who are thinking that the ban on Hindu websites is effective on Hindu mainstream of life and Hindu activities, they are idiots enough. After banning the HINDUJAGRUTI SITE, hundreds of blogs and pages have erupted their pure dedication of Hindu Journalism as a supplementary to the HINDUJAGRUTI WEBSITE. And this can be a landmark to start a strong Hindu Media to replace the conventional Secular Media run by the Arab and Christian money power. So, a strong Hindu media is also an urgent need of the hours to kneel down the media menace of the secularists and to nullify the Cyber Jihad waged against India by the Mullahs, as well.

We must enter now into building a strong Hindu Media in this critical juncture to knock down the anti national and anti Hindu ‘Secular Media’ which is most dangerous than anything.

If such autocracy of the Congress Government in Centre continues, it may directly impose ban even on newspapers and news channels. The Central Government has put a curb on the freedom of expression and thoughts of media by imposing indirect Censorship. HJS, Bhagatsingh Krantisena, Shri Ramsena, Hindu Mahasabha and Panch Nad, therefore, held demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi to strongly oppose the Government’s stance.

Because they cannot ban Sanatan Sanstha (SS) and Hindu Jnanjagruti Samiti (HJS), the rulers are putting a ban on the propagation of the mission of these organisations ! The rulers who have imposed a ban on the websites of the Samiti today, will not hesitate to impose a ban on ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ as well as Sanatan Sanstha and HJS, tomorrow.

According to an order from the Union Government, 250 websites that spread provocative news about the riots in Assam have been banned. Since yesterday, whenever readers throughout Bharat tried to visit http://www.hindujagruti.org, they were getting the message ‘As per the instructions from the Telecommunication department, this website has been blocked’. As a result they could not visit the website. If the readers have experienced this, please let us know the name of the city, State, date etc. Samiti is consulting legal experts on this issue.

Samiti’s page on the social networking website Facebook also blocked !

After this decision, from the night of 19.8.2012 Samiti’s page ‘http://www.facebook.com/Hindujagruti’ on social networking website Facebook has also been blocked. Presently this page is not accessible all over Bharat; however, it is accessible abroad.

After the order was passed, it has been noticed that the page ‘http://www.facebook.com/Hindujagruti’ belonging to Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the social networking website Facebook has been blocked. Presently this page is not visible anywhere in Bharat; however, it visible outside Bharat.

On the website of HJS as well as the page on Facebook, articles that depicted the truth underlying the riots in Assam and Mumbai were placed. There was no provocative matter in these articles. Because of these articles, Hindus around the world were getting to know the truth about these issues. Hence, the possibility of the Union Government as part of its Muslim appeasement policy, banning this page that vents the atrocities faced by the Hindus, cannot be denied.

New Delhi: 13 August, 2012 :: With his arrest in the capital today, yoga icon Baba Ramdev delivered the sort of momentum and energy that was missing at the protest camp where he spent the last four days on a hunger strike against corruption and black money.

As the guru was brought, riding atop a bus, into the Ambedkar Stadium in Central Delhi, just minutes away from the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium, there were huge traffic jams, the result of sudden showers and thousands of his followers, streaming into the makeshift jail where Baba Ramdev was to be detained. By 7:30 pm, there were 8,000 people at the stadium; worried about crowd control, the police said they were free to leave. “We have won 100%,” he said to his audience. “The victory of a movement lies in its people,” he said. PTI | Aug 13, 2012, 02.52PM IST :: NEW DELHI: Yoga guru Ramdev on Monday courted arrest after he was stopped by Delhi Police from marching towards Parliament as part of his intensified protest against corruption and bringing back black money stashed away on foreign shores.

Ramdev courted arrest along with thousands of his supporters near the Ranjit Singh flyover, just a few metres away from the Ramlila Maidan in central Delhi, the venue of his fast protest since Thursday.

“Delhi Police is a puppet in the hands of the Central government. We will not do anything that disrupts peace. We wanted to march towards Parliament in a peaceful manner to make our voices heard,” he told his supporters before courting arrest.

“Our intention is not to disrupt peace. We will cooperate with the police and go according to the law. We have respect to the law of the land,” he said before getting into a Delhi Transport Corporation bus which Delhi Police had brought to take him.

He is being taken to Bawana on the outskirts of Delhi. Holding the national tricolour, Ramdev hopped into a open vehicle from outside the Maidan in central Delhi and began his march at 1:15pm. He was soon joined by thousands of his supporters.

“Let us start the march to Parliament. Our march is not to gherao Parliament. But to agitate. None of our volunteers should indulge in violence,” he told his supporters before beginning his march.

Ten minutes into the march, the cavalcade was stopped by Delhi Police near the flyover, saying that they do not have permission to march.

Heavy police presence could be seen outside Ramlila Maidan and Ranjit Singh Flyover, the route of the protest march.

Ramdev announced on Monday morning that he and his supporters would march towards Parliament and hold an agitation outside the complex.

“The government has become completely deaf. We have to make them hear us. Now our protest will be outside Parliament. We are not talking about gherao,” Ramdev said while addressing his supporters in the morning.

“Lok Sabha polls will be in 2014 and 99 per cent could be in 2013. This protest is to ensure that no dishonest person enters Parliament. Such people should be boycotted. We do not have a political agenda,” he said.

Earlier, BJP president Nitin Gadkari and JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav shared the dais with Ramdev, who attacked Congress and asked people to throw out the UPA government accusing it of not acting against corruption and black money.

The NDA leaders appeared on the stage and sat with Ramdev and his supporters. TDP leader Nama Nageshwara Rao, BJP MP Vijay Goel and Akali Dal representatives also shared the stage with Ramdev.

The presence of NDA leaders assume significance in the wake of Ramdev taking a vow to oust the Congress in the 2014 elections.

Gadkari pledged his party’s “full support” to the yoga guru’s agitation against black money and launched a blistering attack on the Congress-led UPA Government on issues like corruption and black money.

In his address, Gadkari told Ramdev that the BJP would stand “fully behind him” in his agitation demanding bringing back black money stashed away in foreign banks and that the party was raising the issue in Parliament.

“There is no political agenda to this agitation. This agitation should not be seen from political prism. This is an agitation of the people of the country and not of one single party. The recent construction of an illegal mosque in Delhi is symptomatic of the crass politics of minorityism played by the Congress which is desperate to win Muslim votes.

The nonchalance with which the MLA of Delhi’s Matia Mahal constituency, Mr Shoaib Iqbal, went about raising a mosque at Subhash Park on the pretext that that was the exact spot where an ancient mosque existed is both shocking and not-so-shocking at the same time.

The incident is shocking because the construction of the mosque on land that belonged to North Delhi Municipality and had been leased to Delhi Metro, went on for days but the administration did nothing. It was only after the other locals objected did the Delhi Government intervene and finally a court order was issued to halt the construction. However, by then a massive wall for the proposed mosque had already been built.

On the other hand, the incident is not so shocking because this is what is to be expected from our Government under Congress rule. The entire system bends backwards to please one community to the exclusion of all others in what is drummed up as secularism in India. And hence, some clerics of the community ask the Government to prevent author Salman Rushdie from visiting India, and the Government works to keep him out. Similarly, Muslim leaders in Hyderabad manhandle another famous author Tasleema Nasreen for her writings and the Government gets her to leave the country as well but does not punish the perpetrators.

Worse still, in Muslim majority Jammu & Kashmir, residents of the State have been thrown out lock, stock and barrel because they are Hindus. But the Congress-led Union Government that is supposed to protect the basic rights of every citizen does not even talk about this exodus. On the other hand, the 2002 violence in Gujarat remains a talking point for the Centre even when its alleged victims want to get on with their lives and forget the past.

In Kerala, where the Muslim League is a partner of the Congress-led United Front State Government, the former gets to appoint five Ministers as against its quota of four and then goes about communalising the State’s education system much to the collective shock of the other communities. This forced the two major Hindu communities in Kerala, the Nairs and the Ezhavas, to come together and oppose such appeasement politics. Even the Christian party, Kerala Congress, is disturbed .

The Congress in its eagerness to monopolise the Muslim vote-bank has gone all out not just by bending backwards but also genuflect before that community. Consequently, communalism now threatens to divide this country.

The Prime Minister has said on record that minorities (read Muslims) will be given first priority on development funds. His colleague had sought to institute a Muslim-only-quota within the OBC quota but could not implement it due to the intervention of the Supreme Court.

Across the country, Islamic religious schools or madrasas are being given the same status as regular schools affiliated to accredited secondary education boards. As a result, certificates issued by madrasas will now have the same value as that of accredited schools even though the former are usually not registered and do not teach secular subjects.

To make matters worse, the Congress is now proposing a separate Muslim banking system where there will be no interest rates. If this proposal is implemented, soon enough India will have two economies in one country. One economy where interest rates will be determined by a central bank and all activities will be governed by the RBI’s laws and regulation, and a second economy over which the Government will have no control.

Already, there are two sets of rules as far as family laws are concerned. For instance, while polygamy is considered criminal for the rest of the country, it is legal for Muslims. Similarly, with respect to family planning, Muslim couples are allowed multiple children while non-Muslims are penalised for having more than two.

Thus, the Congress is pushing the country towards a duality. A dual state that allows a Hindu minority community in one part of the country, to be thrown out on the one hand, while encouraging the pampering of Muslim minorities; a State wherein a majority of children will learn English, some regional languages, modern science and humanities while a minority of children will learn Arabic and some Islamic religious texts.

Self-styled secularists in the Congress seem to be unconcerned if this division leads to political consequences. Even the carrying out of a death sentence handed down to the terrorist who attacked Parliament has been stopped keeping in mind ‘communal considerations’.

This very cleft-foot attitude of some political parties is encouraging the separatist forces as well. In Tamil Nadu, the ‘Tamil Eelam’ demand has raised its ugly head once again. Yet, the hanging of Rajiv Gandhi’s killers is being resisted on grounds of regionalism. The DMK supremo may have been prevented from going overboard with his ‘Tamil Eelam’ demand when he sought to inaugurate a conference of Tamil separatists, but it was only at the last minute.

In West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress regime has thrown all caution to the wind in promoting Muslim irredentism by giving pensions to Muslim clerics, according official status to madrasas etc. In Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest State, the party in power is totally subservient to the Muslim orthodoxy that wants no change in family laws applicable to their community only. Other pseudo-secular parties are only making the situation worse by competing among themselves to placate such communal irredentism.

What one recently witnessed at Subhash Park in Delhi was inevitable in such a circumstance, where one community is encouraged to believe that it can get away with separatist demands to demarcate themselves away from the majority of the country’s culture, ethos and even the economy.

Otherwise Mr Iqbal would not have dared to begin an illegal construction on Government land and then get his men to turn it into a prayer ground while the authorities shut their eyes to his flagrant violation of the law of the land. This is the second such incident in the nation’s capital after the Jangpura land grab and mosque construction case.

There is more than symbolism in this: It is now clear that the communal challenge to the country’s authority has reached the national capital itself.

No hope for Hindus in this Presidential election in India

New Delhi | 30th June, 2012 :: It is now still summer in Delhi. Heat waves moves from the North to South block. From Parliament House street to Raisina Hills. A Heatwave increase due to the top post of President in the country is slated for July 19 and the result would be out on July 22. The term of the present incumbent Pratibha Patil ends on July 24.

So far nominations from 42 contestants have been accepted as primarily valid for their candidature to be scrutinized for the July 19 Presidential election in which UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee is pitted against Opposition candidate Purno Agitok Sangma majorly supported by NDA.

In this federal system of democracy India has prompted the presidential magnitude in a stature of multitude glorification and ornamentation of its constitutional head as a subject of the parliament supremacy. However, the people of this country still thinks a remedy through its Presidential power in a havoc threat perception in this nation through parliamentarian corruption, nepotism, irresponsibility, treachery and all perversions possible in the politics. It is beyond any clarification. But the upcoming two faces in the main fray may not be an ace to trump in this game of hope and respire. Nither Mr. Pranab Mukherjee nor P A Sangma symbolize the people’s hope anyway against corruption and the coalitions of all obnoxious elements in the national spectrum.

Mr. Mukherjee filed his papers in the presence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi. Other important leaders who accompanied him include Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad, Lok Jan Shakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Ajit Singh, BSP Parliamentary Party leader Dara Singh Chauhan, DMK Parliamentary Party leader T.R. Baalu, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and Janata Dal (United) general secretary Shivanand Tiwari.

UPA’s nominee was endorsed by a large number political parties—parties like RJD, SP, BSP and Ram Vilas Paswan’s LJP, who are supporting the UPA. Mr Mukherjee has also received the support from other parties like Shiv Sena, JD-U, CPI-M and FB.

The first set of nomination papers in favour of Mr. Mukherjee was submitted by the Prime Minister, Monmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, the Chair Person of UPA. The second set was submitted by senior Congress leader Motilal Vora, while Mukherjee submitted the other two of the total four sets.

The nomination papers were signed by as many as 486 MPs and MLAs, including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, Congress Legislature Party leaders and PCC chiefs in favour of Mukherjee.

Showmanship of Absurdity

In the contrast, Sangma, whose candidature was propped up by BJD and AIADMK and supported by BJP and some other NDA constituents, had three sets of papers filed in his support.

N Patnaik, CM Odisha filed one set with 108 signatures in Sangma’s favour, another set was filed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa with 120 signatures, while the third set was filed by L K Advani and P S Badal, CM Punjab with 122 signatures of members of the electoral college. Total 350 MPs and MLAs have signed in favour of Sangma.

Mr. Sangma was accompanied, among others by, senior BJP leaders L.K. Advani, Nitin Gadkari, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, BJD president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Shiromon Akali Dal president and Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy and AIADMK Parliamentary Party leader M. Thambidurai.

The electoral college for Presidential election comprises 4,896 members — 776 Members of Parliament and 4,120 Members of Legislative Assemblies, including those of Delhi and Puducherry.

The total value of their votes is 10,98,882 with that of MLAs being 5,49,474 and that of MPs being 5,49,408.

Congress and its allies, including Trinamool Congress, constitute the UPA account for over 4.60 lakh vote value. BJP-led NDA has over 3.04 lakh vote value.

The ‘others’, including parties like Samajwadi Party, BSP and the Left, have over 2.62 lakh vote value.

By percentage Mukherjee deserves 56.17 and Sangma shares 31.7 percentage from general appreaciation.

From the above statistics, the fate of Mukherjee or Sangma is obviously clear with certainly with some ifs and buts.

The Trinmool Congress has not decided yet. There is a question of so-called ’conscience vote’. Another is ‘cross voting’. The sense of provincialism and racial aspect will take into force. Already propagation from the tribal and Christian lobbies have come to the surface. The Andhra Pradesh Federation of Churches (APFC) has appealed in favour of Sangma as, “He is a Christian by religion; though the members of other Minority communities like the Muslims and Sikhs were given the post of the President not Christians. It is the turn of a Christian now.”

P A Sangma was expelled by his party NCP and her daughter Agatha (now Union Minister of State, Rural Development) may also face the same treatment. Agatha Sangma is charge sheeted with campaigning for her father. In Baster (Chhattisgarh) on Monday 25th June, Union minister Agatha Sangma said it would be a “welcome gesture” if tribal MPs and MLAs voted for her father PA Sangma in the July 19 Presidential election. Aravind Netam, a veteran tribal leader from Jharkhand has been expelled by Congress Party as he had a joint press conference with Sangma before filing his nomination. Netam criticized Congress that the Party did not pay proper attention to the Tribal Welfare and welcomed Sangma as favourable and nominated candidate from the Tribal Forum of India.

Many equations are working stealthily that we don’t know. All will go to Darbar of Sahi Imam and the Darghas without fail. But if you ask anything about the Hindu interest in this presidential election context, you will surely be branded as a communal one in this Hindu Majority Country.

Taking the help of Maratha Hinduvad or Indian Union Muslim League is truly Secular. The Christian sentiments or Tribal demands are also secular enough. But, if you want to raise your voice in favour of Hindutva of Savarkar, Hedgewad or Shyamaprasad, then it is simply communal. Hindus unfortunately succumbed this injustice and tolerated all along. But why?

It is for the maroon Hindu leaderships who have not even any courage to announce a Hindu Presidential Candidate for their own. The line from Nagpur to Jhandelwala has been collapsed. All the Dahrma Sangshad and the Shankara Mutths are either sleeping or engrossed with hallucinations.

BJP, which is branded as a Hindu Party (though it is not a Hindu party nor believes in Hindu Rashtravad) and common Hindus believe as their party, is completely failed to manage a strong Hindu candidate on their own for Presidential election. But, they will not stop their big lectures to save this unfortunate (may call orphan) Hindu Nation.

Hopes of Hindus are being shattered rapidly. Sri Govindacharya, the once proclaimed TT (Think Tank – Chanakya) and present day big luminaries like Dr. Subramanian Swamy, Baba Ramdev, Anna Hazare all proved their differences between gossips and gateways. Their claims are mismatched with their calibers. The tendencies of present day big Hindu leadership are dangerous as they are indulging fatal permissiveness in Hindu Society. Adjustment with identity and self respect is dangerous than anything. In this Presidential poll in India, Hindus lost their plot of any benefit.

Is there any way out? Yes, ray of hope is there. If the small Hindu organizations all over the country join their hands to form a big coalition of alternative Hindu Social and Political Force to compel all the big yawning Hindu Organizations and all political parties to kneel down to this prospective Hindu Nation (Hindu Rashtra), history may be changed then and there.

“Nitish Kumar has said NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate for 2014 elections should be secular. He has made the statement so that his vote bank remains intact,” Bhagwat told a meeting of RSS volunteers here.

According to those present in the meeting which was out of bounds for the media, Bhagwat also described Hinduism as an “all-inclusive” religion and wondered why a “Hinduwadi” should not become the Prime Minister.

“Hinduism is the religion of humanism. You are right and we are also right, Hinduism follows this broad philosophy,” he was quoted as having said.

Is there any Hindu person has been elected so far as President or Prime Minister in any Muslim or Christian Majority Country for a single instance?

Then why a Muslim or Christian person will be the President or Prime Minister in Hindu Majority Bharat?

We want no Muslim or Christian candidate for Presidential or Prime Ministerial post in Bharat (India).

There are 153 Christian States; 52 Islamic States; 12 Buddhist States & 1 Jewish State in this world. Then why there is no Hindu State for 100 crores of Hindus in this world. Declare Bharat and Nepal as HINDU STATE immediately. ~ Hindu Existence.

To keep alive the Hindu ideology, the Hindu ‘samaaj’ should come together and the country should have a prime minister who believes in that ideology or propounds that view, he is reported to have said.

In Delhi, RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav said that Hindutva is the “true synonym” for secularism and is liberal as it embraces all other religions.

“To portray it (Hindutva) as anti-secular is not correct and narrow minded. Hindutva is the true synonym for secularism… We have always felt that Hindutva is the ideological anchor of RSS and it is liberal, all embracing and a secular idea,” he told reporters.

He also said that what its chief Mohan Bhagwat said while addressing its swayamsevaks should not be viewed in the context of the present political situation in the country.

“It is uncalled for to link his view to day-to-day happenings on the political front and statements of certain leaders,” Madhav said.

Without naming Nitish Kumar for terming Hindutva as not being secular, Madhav said everyone has the right to put forth their views in democracy, but maintained that secularism and Hindutva are not opposed to each other.

Kumar had said yesterday that the NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate should be somebody with “secular credentials”, in an apparent bid to give a thumbs down to his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi who is being touted as the first choice of the BJP for the PM’s post.

The Bihar Chief Minister has yesterday stressed that the NDA should declare its Prime Ministerial candidate in advance saying, “this leader should be acceptable to every constituent of the alliance. To me, the leader of the coalition should have secular credentials.”

Kumar has made known his unease with Narendra Modi a number of times earlier because of which the Gujarat Chief Minister was kept away from campaigning in Bihar during the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Andhra Pradesh HC Quashes Centre’s 4.5% Sub-Quota for Minorities.

Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh are trying hard to set exclusive reservation policy for Muslims on religious basis in India under the benevolent support from the Congress led UPA Govt. in the Centre, the Andhra Pradesh High Court today discarded the ongoing reservation policy for Muslim minority in a fraudulent mode of appeasement and quashed the concerned policy of reservation for Muslim minorities so far adopted by the concerned Govt.

In the present movement to bow down to the Muslims, the ruling forces in the States and Centre somehow have surrendered to the organized Muslim forces in all Political Parties in India, envisaging a new concept of

‘Holding that the Centre acted in a “casual manner”, the Andhra Pradesh High Court today quashed the 4.5 per cent sub-quota to minorities carved out of 27 per cent OBC reservation–a verdict that may affect admissions already made in central education polictional institutions such as IITs. sub-quota or religious quota for Muslims of India who are much believers of Shariat than the civil law of India. And special felicities given to minorities are being solely given for and grabbed by the Muslims.

In a setback to the Centre over the sub-quota issue, the Court said the Office Memorandum(OM) creating the sub-quota was based on religious grounds and not on any other consideration.

The December 22, 2011 OM for a subquota of 4.5 per cent for socially and educationally backward classes of citizens belonging to minority communities out of the 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in central educational institutions and jobs was announced by the Centre ahead of the Assembly elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

The very use of the words “belonging to minorities” or “for minorities” indicates that the sub-quota has been carved out only on religious lines and not on any other intelligible basis, the bench observed while setting aside the sub-quota.

Shortly after the verdict was pronounced, the Congress treaded cautiously, saying the court judgement has to be read and understood.

“You cannot react to court judgments until you have perused, read, understood and appreciated..(We can comment)….After we receive copy of the judgment”, party spokesman Manish Tewari told reporters in Delhi.

Setting aside the OM, a division bench consisting Chief Justice Madan B Lokur and Justice Sanjay Kumar said, “In fact, we must express our anguish at the rather casual manner in which the entire issue has been taken up by the central government.”

“No evidence has been shown to us by the learned Assistant Solicitor General to justify the classification of these religious minorities as a homogeneous group or as more backward classes deserving some special treatment.

“We must, therefore, hold that Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis) do not form a homogeneous group but a heterogeneous group,” it observed.

According to K Ramakrishna Reddy, senior counsel who argued for the petitioner R Krishnaiah– a backward caste leader from Andhra Pradesh, the judgement may affect the admissions that have already been made in central educational institutions such as IITs.

“We have, therefore, no option but to set aside the carving out of a sub-quota of 4.5 per cent in favour of backward classes belonging to minorities out of the 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in both the OMs dated 22.12.2011 and the Resolution dated 22.12.2011. We do so accordingly,” the court said.

The first OM states that the 4.5 per cent sub-quota is carved out of socially and educationally backward classes of citizens “belonging to minorities” as defined in Section 2(c) of the NCM Act.

The resolution and the second OM created a sub-quota “for minorities”.’

The Present direction of AP High Court is a land mark decision and obviously a staunch blow to curb the policy of minority appeasement policy in India.
