GOI Must Ban anti-India, anti-Hindu, anti-BJP Reports of USCIRF Immediately.
‘The India Chapter – 2016 Annual Report’ of United States Commission for International Religious Freedom is grossly against BJP and barely anti-Hindu.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | New Delhi | Feb 14, 2017:: The United States Commission for International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has put its credibility at stake by publishing a report critical of religious freedom in India by a Pakistan-origin author known for his anti-India stand and support to separatists, a top Hindu-American body has said.
Not only that, The India Chapter – 2016 Annual Report+ of USCIRF as presented is nothing but a travesty of truth as prepared with high anti-Hindu, anti-BJP prejudice targeting Indian Unity in Diversity, it’s Integrity, it’s Culture and Constitution in many ways, and obviously its Sovereignty by publishing a distorted Map of India even.
The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) said by coming out with the report entitled as “Constitutional and Legal Challenges Faced by Religious Minorities in India+” by Dr Iqtidar Karamat Cheema, director for Institute for Leadership and Community Development, in Birmingham, England, the USCIRF has put its credibility at stake.
In a blog post, Suhag Shukla of USCIRF wrote USCIRF simply gave its imprimatur to the British activist Cheema.
“Cheema, a native of Pakistan, has been honoured by several Pakistani government bodies, and is true to Pakistan’s foreign policy goals as well,” he wrote, alleging that the report was biased and motivated.
Shukla alleged that Cheema’s work provides cover to Pakistan’s long-standing support of a proxy war to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India. “Not surprisingly then, this report fails to mention the plight of over 300,000 Kashmiri Hindu Pandits cleansed from their ancestral homeland in the Valley at the hands of Islamist radicals. Previous commission reports have ignored the same,” she said.
“Cheema is also an oft-quoted source to support various organisations that endorse a separatist movement calling for a separate Sikh state, Khalistan — a cause that the vast majority of Sikhs in India refuse to support,” she said.
“Khalistani terrorism led to an insurgency which left tens of thousands of Hindus and Sikhs dead in the Indian state of Punjab in the 1980s. This activism took its most bizarre and dangerous turn when Cheema addressed a crowd of Sikh separatists gathered in San Francisco calling for Khalistan and shouts supporting the Babbar Khalsa, a terrorist organisation banned by the UK and India,” Shukla said.
“Shockingly, for the first time in USCIRF’s history, the Commission makes the overtly Hinduphobic declaration that caste-based discrimination is rooted in Hindu scripture,” she said.
“Why would USCIRF launch a spirited defence of American churches shilling for religious converts in India? Why would USCIRF substantiate the horrendous, and easily refuted claim — one that evangelical churches make to goad converts away from Hinduism — that the scriptures of Hinduism not only condone, but divinely sanction the social evil of caste-based,” she alleged.
Shukla said USCIRF is the only governmental body to ever designate India, the world’s largest democracy and secular republic as a ‘Country of Particular Concern Watch list,’ or “Tier 2” list in league with Afghanistan, Turkey, Russia and others.
Actually, the dam culpability of Cheema is exposed in his targeted analysis as highlighted in these points:
• The Indian model of secularism, in which separation between religion and the state exists neither in laws nor in practice; • Discriminatory constitutional provisions, which favor the majority religion and curtail the distinct identity of minorities; • Constitutional provisions on the elimination of “untouchability” (to include a detailed account on discrimination against Dalits); • Freedom of Religion Acts, commonly referred to as anti-conversion laws; • The impact of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act on civil society and nongovernmental organizations; • Cow protection legislation, enacted in 24 out of 29 Indian states; and • How Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains have been denied their own personal status laws.
The modus operandi of Dr Iqtidar Karamat Cheema’s perpetration is very clear here. He wants to challenge the Indian constitution which has reference to ‘Hindus shall be construed as including a reference to persons professing the Sikh, Jaina or Buddhist religion, and the reference to Hindu religious institutions shall be construed accordingly’ (See Art 25+). Here, Karamat Cheema has a planning to divide the broad-spectrum Hindu unity to weaken India under his hidden agenda.
Again, Karamat Cheema lamented on ‘Cow protection legislation, enacted in 24 out of 29 Indian states’. Dangerously, Cheema is challenging the Art. 48 of Indian Constitution which says,” The State shall endeavour to organise agriculture and animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines and shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter, of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle.” (See Art 48+).
In India, the minorities and un-privileged get the highest protection of Constitution. Indians adorned Christian, Sikh, Muslims as their President of India without objection, even then the nasty mind Cheema is trying to provoke insurgency in India by spreading lie and absurd. Cheema must know, Indian is the only country where Muslims gets huge subsidy for Haj pilgrimage and plenty of reservation in services and business. In Cheema’s dirty mind, Indian minority people have no respect to the majority people and vice versa.
But, this anti-Indian, anti-Hindu stands of Cheema is not any individual exception at all as USCIRF’s other report in recent on India is also culpable than anything as revealed.
“In 2015, religious tolerance deteriorated and religious freedom violations increased in India. Minority communities, especially Christians, Muslims, and Sikhs, experienced numerous incidents of intimidation, harassment, and violence, largely at the hands of Hindu nationalist groups. Members of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tacitly supported these groups and used religiously-divisive language to further inflame tensions. These issues, combined with longstanding problems of police bias and judicial inadequacies, have created a pervasive climate of impunity, where religious minority communities feel increasingly insecure, with no recourse when religiously-motivated crimes occur. In the last year, “higher caste” individuals and local political leaders also prevented Hindus considered part of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Dalits) from entering religious temples. Additionally, the national government or state governments applied several laws to restrict religious conversion, cow slaughter, and foreign funding of NGOs. Moreover, an Indian constitutional provision deeming Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains to be Hindus contradicts international standards of freedom of religion or belief”.
Not only that, this report is shown with a truncated Indian map without full length and breath of Kashmir with an utter intention to promote the subversive elements in J&K.
The report directly attacked the present ruling party in the center as, “Since the BJP assumed power, religious minority communities have been subject to derogatory comments by BJP politicians and numerous violent attacks and forced conversions by affiliated Hindu nationalist groups”. . . .
As, such the reports of USCIRF is engaged in hatching a conspiracy to evade a party which is running a govt being elected through a majority vote sharing in a democratic process.
The USCIRF reports never include Congress menace to propagate Christianity in North East or Jihadi war cray of AIMIM leaders challenging Indian army and police and Indian National song also.
“The India Chapter – 2016 Annual Report” of USCIRF and “Constitutional and Legal Challenges Faced by Religious Minorities in India”, written by Dr Iqtidar Karamat Cheema, both are highly objectionable as these have full ingredients for making subversive and communal bombs to charge against India. These reports will help enormously the separatist and radical elements in India.
Who did empower USCIRF to challenge and demean Indian democracy, culture, constitution, majority people and Indian map?
Presumably, Iqtidar Cheema and others in USCIRF are well connected with the fifth column in India and set a goal to destroy Indian peace and harmony.
Govt of India must ban these USCIRF reports immediately to save Indian identity, integrity and sovereignty.
