Ayodhya Ram temple, Cow protection, Clean Ganga, Conversion, Kashmir, Hindu Rashtra in VHP’s agenda for Margadarshak Mandal meet.

Upendra Bharati | HENB | Haridwar | May 26, 2017:: The Ram temple in Ayodhya, Cow protection (Goraksha), Ganga cleanliness (Nirmal Ganga) and Kashmir will be top on the agenda of three-day meeting of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) advisory board (margdarshak mandal) taking place at Karshni Narain Ashram here from May 31 to June 2.

Sri Champat Rai, VHP national general secretary told HENB from Delhi, “What people think about the Ram temple issue, their suggestions and consequences will be placed before the group of a few hundred prominent ascetics taking part in the meet so that they could not say that they were not informed about all these things.”

“People’s role in Goraksha (cow protection) and Nirmal Ganga (Ganga cleanliness) will also come up for discussion. At the meet, VHP will decide what it should do about various issues in the present circumstances while keeping in view people’s suggestions,” he said.

Nearly 200 seers, saints and VHP office bearers are expected to attend the meet — will demand that “the government should bring legislation against Dharmantaran (conversion) and take measures to sensitize people against social evils, especially about Ashprishyata (untouchability)”.

Speaking apparently in context of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Rai told HENB, “We are very clear about one thing, after 90 years of RSS’ hard work (tapasya) and 70 years of independence, atmosphere in the country has undergone a sea change from political ideology point of view. Now, we cannot talk about a movement of any kind in Uttar Pradesh. The movemental phase is over now. Now Hindus want work and action. People earlier used to talk about ‘bhagwa atankawadi sadhu’ (saffron terrorist seer), ‘bhagwa atankawad’ (saffron terrorism), and after great difficulty, the tag is now removed. The saffron is now ruling the country. The Saffron will be top of the Hindu Rashtra in Bharat. Hindu Rashtra can give us the good governance, corruption free, equality ensured, value based, nature friendly and prosperous system for all”.

“This is a crucial meeting as a decision about construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya will be taken during this conclave. The margdarshak mandal is likely to set a deadline to start construction of Ram Temple,” North India Regional Media incharge of VHP – Sharad Sharma  told HENB.

Many renowned saints from all across India will take part in the meeting, he said. This meeting is also aimed to putting pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expedite temple construction as recently VHP national president Dr Pravin Togadia had said that people had voted for BJP with a hope that it will pave the way for construction of Ram Temple. “People will not wait. They want decision on Ram temple by 2019,” he said.
