VHP demands for passing law from Parliament to build Ram temple at Ayodhya.

VHP Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal urges  law from parliament to build Ayodhya Ram temple, demands complete ban of cow slaughter in Bharat, takes resolution on Ganga, Untouchability and Forceful taking over Temple management by Govt.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Haridwar | June 2, 2017::  Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s central governing body (Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal) has taken strong resolutions on Construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Cows, Ganga, Untouchibility, Temple take over by govt during its meeting at Udasin Karshni Ashram in Bhupatwala area in Haridwar held on May 31 to June 2.

Stressed on building Ram Temple in Ayodhya through a bill passed in the Parliament, VHP also  pitched for the enactment of a stringent cow protection act to ban slaughter with a lifetime imprisonment for such crime.

VHP meeting were attended by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, State BJP chief Ajay Bhatt and Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik. Besides, Yoga guru Swami Ramdev, Brahmswaropp Brahmchari, Haridwar MP Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, city mayor Manoj Garg, Ranipur legislator Adesh Chauhan, Swami Rambhadracharya Ji, Mahant Narendra Giri, Mahant Rabindra Puri, Mahant Devananda, Dr. Ramvilas Vedanti, Sadhwi Ritambhara and Swami Yateeshwaranand were present.  “The BJP Government would help India regain its lost glory under the inspiring guidance of the seers,” said Uttarakhand CM.

The Hindu-Sikh-Jain-Buddhist-Namdhari saints,  who have  gathered at the VHP congregation unanimously taken the resolution on how Ram Mandir would be constructed at the site which is believed to be birth place of Lord Ram.

On Friday- the concluding day of the three-day congregation, VHP chief and international working president Pravin Togadia ruled out any  dialogue with the Muslim community people on the contentious temple construction issue. “We are not in favour of further dialogue. We have gave much chances for that. But, Hindus are not ready to waste time any more. Now, it is for the Centre to pass a law, making way for the temple to come up at  Ayodhya. And we insist that it  should be done within a year.   Besides, a  stringent law should be made to protect cows which must incorporate  the provision of capital punishment for one who slaughters cows,” he said.

VHP members laid thrust on emancipating the Hindu society from the scourge of discrimination on the basis of caste and other factors.

Sadhwi Ritambhara, the fire-brand VHP leader whose name figured in the Ayodhya Conspiracy Case, said that until the Mandir is constructed the debt we owe to the  kar sevaks (volunteers) would remain unpaid.  She also said, Hinduism must be free from  the curse of casteism which has been stultifying the growth of a united, cohesive and robust Hindu society.

President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad Mahant Narendra Giri said that Ram Mandir would be constructed neither by the judicial fiat nor by out- of- the court dialogue. “It is for the BJP party to bring a law to clear decks for its construction,” he said.

In its resolutions VHP Kendriya Marga Darshak Mandal describes Gau (Cows) and Ganga (River Ganges) are the two vital lifelines on Bharat. These two must be protected from any danger like rampant slaughter or severe pollution.

The saints in the meeting urged the Govt to free the Hindu Temples from Govt control. They proposed to spend temple donations and offerings for the purpose of Temple and shrine development, Sanskrit, Veda and Spiritual Schools, Goshala and school and hostel for poor Hindu students.

Briefing the resolutions as taken in the meeting, Dr Togadia told the press, the saints and seers of Bharat may march to Delhi after its Udupi session in coming November, if the demands are not fulfilled.

Dr Togadia, Sri Champat Rai, Dinesh Chandra and Jeeveshwar Mishra welcomed all the saint and dignitaries of the meeting on behalf of VHP.
