Ramkumar Dalpat | HENB | Karachi | July 7, 2019:: A Hindu teenage girl has allegedly been abducted by her jilted Muslim teacher in Pakistan.
Pakistan Hindu Welfare Seva Trust president, Sanjesh Dhanja on Tuesday informed+ HENB a little bit later that the girl, identified as Payal, was allegedly abducted when she left home for her tuition class conducted by the sexually perverted Muslim teacher. The alleged abduction of Payal Devi D/O Manghu Mal Kohistani by Pakistan Hindu welfare society reported the matter in their website accordingly+.
In March this year, the abduction of two Hindu teenage girls had led to a war of tweets between the then external affairs minister of India Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan’s then federal minister for information and broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain.
Sindh chief minister’s special assistant Veerji Kolhi, a bonded labourer who is now a human rights activist and advocate for minority Hindus community in Pakistan, too uploaded the news about Payal’s abduction on his Facebook page late on Tuesday evening.
“A 18-year-and-7-month-old student Payal Kumari was allegedly abducted by her teacher Kamran Soomor from Thatta. She went for tuition on June 29 at 8am but didn’t return home by 2.30pm. Then her parents came to know that her teacher, Kamran Soomro was also missing,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to Veerji’s post, the police have registered an FIR and have also arrested the brothers of the alleged kidnapper — Imran, Amjad and Ayoob.
Kolhi was appointed special assistant to the Sindh chief minister along with four others. He is brother of Pakistan People’s Party Senator Krishna Kumari Kolhi.
The minority Hindu community in Pakistan has been troubled by the increase in the incidents of abduction and forced conversion of Hindu girls to Islam. In February and March this year, the Pakistan’s Hindu leadership had highlighted the issue of the kidnapping of two sisters, Raveena and Reena, who allegedly were kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam and then married to men in their forties in Dhaka town of Sindh’s Gotki district.
