Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Dec 7, 2019:: Being dissatisfied with the SC’s verdict over the Ram Janmabhoomi title suit as pronounced on November 9 by five judges constitution bench, the Muslim parties have already filed Six review petitions with their ulterior claim of reconstruction of ‘Babri Mosque’.
A 5-judge bench, headed by the then Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, had in a unanimous verdict on November 9 decreed the entire 2.77 acre disputed land in favour of deity ‘Ram Lalla’ and also directed the Centre to allot a 5-acre plot to Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque in Ayodhya.
At first, Maulana Syed Ashhad Rashidi, the president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind had filed a review petition on December 2 against the Ayodhya Verdict that had awarded the ownership of the Ram Janmabhoomi to the Hindu side.
Four petitions were filed by All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) parties in the Supreme Court on Friday seeking review of its November 9 verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute.
Four separate fresh review petitions have been filed by Maulana Mufti Hasbullah, Mohd Umar, Maulana Mahfoozur Rehman and Mishbahuddin, who are supported by the Sunni Central Waqf Board and the AIMPLB both.
The review petitions challenged the Ayodhya land suit verdict by SC on various counts demanding restoration of Babri Mosque as stood before Dec 6, 1992.
Another review petition filed by the Muslim side as the Peace Party of India also knocked the door of Supreme Court to review the SC’s verdict in the Ayodhya land dispute case. The party’s National President Dr Muhammad Ayub conveyed to press that Muslims had their right to offer Namaz till 1949.
Now, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has decided to file a review petition against the judgement wherein the apex court also granted 5 acres of land at an alternate site at a prominent location in Ayodhya to the Sunni Waqf Board to rebuild the Masjid which was demolished in 1992.
Most likely Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain will be the advocate on record of Hindu Mahasabha to file the review petition on behalf of Hindus who are aggrieved for allowing alternative 5 acers of Ayodhya land to the Sunni Waqf Board for construction of a Mosque in lieu of disputed site on which Babri construction once stood.
On Nov 10, in his twitter handle+, Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence Website Editor, Upananda Brahmachari put his narrative on allowing 5 acres land of Ayodhya to Muslims as a “Muslim Appeasement” by Indian Judiciary. Brahmachari urged a review petition for Hindus in SC to challenge the fallible view of the apex court to encourage a Mosque in the name of invader and barbaric anti-Hindu ruler Babar.
Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati of Govardhan Peeth expressed his anxiety for allowing land to Muslims for building a Mosque in the name of Babar within the proximity of Ayodhya. The veteran Puri Shankaracharya opined in programme that construction of a Mosque in the name of Babar by Muslims again in Ayodhya will be a ploy of to make a second Mecca there+.
In TV debate in Aajtak, Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain alleged that All India Muslim Personal Law Board pumped money to the Muslim parties to make review petitions in Supreme Court in Ayodhya matter.
As per source, Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain is going to file the first review petition on behalf of Hindus and Hindu Mahasabha on Monday (Dec 9) to challenge the provision of giving 5 acres land to construct another Babri Mosque in the limit of Ayodhya, one of the holiest Tirth (pilgrimage) of one billion Hindus in this world.
