Haridwar Dharma Sansad: Yati Narsinghanand arrested by Uttarakhand Police for alleged ‘hate speech’.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Haridwar | January 16, 2022:: In a major development, Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati has been arrested by Uttarakhand Police on Saturday (January 15, 2022) for his role in Haridwar Dharma Sansad held during Dec 17-19 last year. This is the second arrest in the case after Waseem Rizvi who is now known as Jitendra Narayan Tyagi was arrested by the Uttarakhand Police in Haridwar’s Roorkee on Thursday following Supreme Court’s intervention in the matter.

Narsinghanand and some others from Haridwar religious congregation had called for genocide and the use of arms against Muslims and he is among more than 10 people named in the FIR.

Though this call was given to eliminate the Jihadi forces from the soil of India, the secular anti-Hindu forces in media and judiciary have emerged as the protector of Muslim people, raising the so called ‘hate speech’ as communal issue. But, these ‘selective secular’ elements never approached the apex court to curb the Jihadi voices and fatwas given against Hindus several times.

News agency ANI confirmed the news. “Yati Narsinghanand has been arrested today, in connection with a case pertaining to derogatory remarks against women. He has 2-3 cases registered against him,” CO City, Haridwar was quoted as saying by the news agency.
