Former Vishva Hindu Parishad president Pravin Togadia also retorts RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat on ‘Akhand Bharat within 15 years’, by saying, ‘stay in the Kashmir valley for a night and start a sakha in POK first….’

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Nagpur | April 19, 2022:: Former Vishva Hindu Parishad president Pravin Togadia on Tuesday said the BJP should remove loudspeakers from mosques in the states where it is in power.

Speaking about a demand that the Maharashtra government remove loudspeakers from mosques, recently made by the Raj Thackeray-led MNS with a wild support of BJP, he also pointed out that the BJP, when it ruled in the state, took no such step.

“I would like to request my brothers in the BJP to first remove loudspeakers in the states where their party is in power. You are protesting in Maharashtra, but not removing loudspeakers in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat,” Togadia said, speaking to reporters here.

Without naming Raj Thackeray, he also said this demand was not raised when the BJP was in power.

“We had demanded the removal of loudspeakers from mosques in Maharashtra some ten years ago, and we are demanding the same in Uttar Pradesh for the last two years,” Togadia said.

The Union government should implement the Supreme Court’s order on loudspeakers across the country, he demanded.

While answering to the media persons here, Dr Togadia pointed out the intelligence failure of the BJP ruled states (Khargone in Madhya Pradesh and seven places in Gujarat) and Union controlled Delhi Police as the basic cause for the communal situations that flared up in many places on the occasions of Sri Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti. 

Commenting on RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s ‘Making of Akhand Bharat within 15 years’, Dr Togadia retorts  ‘I have due honor to Dr Mohanji Bhagwat. I also welcome and support the cause of Akhand Bharat. But claiming as such, Dr Bhagwat must stay in the Kashmir valley for a night and start a sakha in POK first.’

‘If Mohanji Bhagwat goes there in a Sakha in POK, I will also go there as a Swaymsevak to join him and do the Prarthana,’ Togadia added.
