Akshay Kumar And Manushi Chhillar alongwith Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi Perform Ganga Aarti in Varanasi Offer Puja in Somnath Ahead Of Samrat Prithviraj Release.

Upendra Bharti & Urmila Arya | HENB | Varanasi and Somnath | May 31, 2022:: Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar are busy promoting their upcoming film Samrat Prithviraj. The duo, who were in Varanasi, performed evening aarti on Monday. In the photos shared on their respective Instagram handles, Akshay looks charming in an off-white kurta while Manushi looks pretty in a peach coloured salwar suit. She kept her makeup natural and tied her hair into a neat bun. Both Akshay and Manushi captioned the images as “Har Har Mahadev”. The film stars were accompanied with Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi the mentor-director of the upcoming film.

Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar are really geared up for the release of their upcoming film, Samrat Prithviraj. After performing Ganga puja with Samrat Prithviraj’s flag in the Varanasi ghat, on May 30,   Akshay, Manushi, along with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi visited Somnath Temple in Gujarat in the day next.

The film releases in three days on June 3, 2022. Ahead of the same, the lead pair visited Somnath Temple in Gujarat to pay their due respects to the fearless Samrat Prithviraj who was a devotee of Lord Somnath. They also carried Samrat Prithviraj’s flag in his honour.

In a statement, director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi said, “Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan gave his life fighting for Bharatmata’s freedom. He defended India against Mohammad of Ghor, the merciless invader who wanted to plunder our country. Our film chronicles Samrat Prithviraj’s life and his contribution to our nation’s history. We have now sought blessings by performing the Ganga puja in Varanasi with his flag. We are now in Somnath Temple with the holy water of Ganga to perform another puja with Samrat Prithviraj’s flag here.”

The movie is releasing under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film marks the debut of former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, who plays the role of Sanyogita while Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan of the Chahamana dynasty. Apart from Akshay and Manushi, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles.

Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, director of Samrat Prithviraj is renowned for his historic Hindutva tele-serial ‘Chankya’ (1991). It is expected that Samrat Prithviraj will also boost up the Hindutva trend in Bollywood films definitely.
