Akhand Bharat: From the Absurdity to Reality.

The Pre-conditions of Akhand Bharat as Cherished by RSS-BJP. 

Akhand Bharat at this stage is nothing but a ratification of Islamic Rule in the Indian subcontinent. Only the establishment of a cultural-constitutional-sovereign Hindu Rashtra in Bharat at present can shape an Akhand Bharat in the future.

A mural depicting the spread of the ‘Ashokan Empire’ resembles the concept of ‘Akhand Bharat’ as placed in the wall of the New Parliament building of India created a row in the minds of the neighbours.

The issue was sparked by a tweet from Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi on the day of the inauguration of the new Parliament, 28 May, saying, “The resolve is clear — Akhand Bharat.”

The mural covers Kapilavastu and Lumbini in present-day Nepal and places such as Sindhu, Takshashila, now in Pakistan.

However, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi told, “The mural in question depicts the spread of the Ashokan empire and the idea of responsible and people-oriented governance that (Emperor Ashoka) adopted and propagated.”

But, authorities in Pakistan, Nepal, and even Bangladesh Govts were not satisfied with the statement shared by the MEA and condemned the “aggressive attitude of India” to create “an unnecessary and harmful diplomatic row in the neighborhood”.

The vision of Akhand Bharat is nothing new in the mindset of patriotic Hindu people of Bharat i.e. India who never accepted the partition of India as a reality. But, it is the hardest reality that Mother India was cut into pieces by the players of communalism and power mongers for their self-interest and compromise.

This holy land of Bharatvarsha has always been considered a divine and living entity and not a conjugation of its lands, mountains, rivers, flora and fauna, and its people. So, the division of this land on the basis of religion and politics can’t be accepted. This ideal of love and responsibility and duties for the country were preached and practiced in the hymns of Vedas to the epic of Ramayana. The philosophy of Worshipping the Motherland and cherishing the ideas of Akhand Bharat was propagated by Rishi Bankimchandra, Sri Aurobinda, Veer Savarkar, and many in the same line.

But, it’s the tragic reality that India was partitioned in 1947 as any portion of it was split earlier from the main part of Bharatvarsha.

Now, the return to the Akhand Bharat is the hardest work, otherwise a nonsense propagation and political gimmick of RSS-BJP with an ill motive to spark the Hindu sentiment in an easy way.

Akhand Bharat at this stage is nothing but a ratification of Islamic Rule in the Indian subcontinent considering the geo-political situation of the sub-continent. The high conjecture of RSS-BJP’s Akhand Bharat reflects a total failure to control the Kashmir or Manipur situation or totally incapable to access the PoK within India, including suppressing the facts of Chinese aggression on many fronts in Indian borders.

The politically motivated preaching of RSS-BJP on Akhand Bharat cannot deny the reality of the strength of numbers in democracy as accepted.

How can we deny the political implication in the present parliamentary democracy of India and neighbouring countries? We must consider the following facts without submerging ourselves in a fancy. Here is the simple calculation of the strength of numbers.

1. Total Parliamentary (Lok Sabha) Seats in India 543. Nature-Secular, Compromising Hinduist.
2. Total Parliamentary (Pratinidhi Sabha) Seats in Nepal 275. Nature- Maoist.
3. Total Seats in Mājlis-e-Shūrā Pākistān (Parliament-National Assembly) 342. Nature- Islamist.
4. Total seats in Bangladesh Parliament (Jatiya Sansad) 350. Nature- Nationalist with Islamists.

So, if India can be turned into Akhand Bharat in a magical way of all nonsense, the strength of the people’s representative (who actually hold the ruling power) of the Islamists and Maoists (967) will defeat the strength of the ‘So-called Hinduist’ (543-the portion of Islamists etc). The Akhand Bharat right now will hoist the Islamic flag in India once again. Hence, we must not indulge in the ratification of Islamic Rule in the Indian subcontinent under the provocation of RSS-BJP. Rest assured, they will do nothing unless the Hindu people of Bharat get them into the circle of continuous pressure. The compromising ‘Gandhian’ and ‘Same DNA’ attitude of RSS-BJP is endangering the Hindus in many ways at present and in the future. As a matter of fact, the vision of Akhand Bharat so far cherished by RSS-BJP is most impractical as of now.

Then, what is the reality of Akhand Bharat as visualized by our great saints, seers, and heroes of nationalism and Hindutva? In fine, we have to land in the plane of Practical Hindutva and Hindu Rashtra. The lame ideas of RSS on ‘Cultural Hindu Rashtra’ is nothing but an excuse and confession of their inaction in this matter. Unless, India is declared a Hindu Rashtra with its Hindu Constitution to make an end to the present secular constitution upholding the special minority status of Muslims, Christians, and others; all the big talks on Hindu Rashtra are nothing but big bluff by RSS as such. And, the Hindu Rashtra in Bharat must have its Sovereign status. Hindu Rashtra is not a folklore sung in the Sakha of RSS. Hindus in India must claim their legitimate right in a democratic way for a Cultural-Constitutional-Sovereign Hindu Rashtra in Bharat. A Cultural-Constitutional-Sovereign Hindu Rashtra in Bharat is the legitimate right of more than 1 billion Hindus in this world.

Considering all these, to get meaningful strength in this advancement, the democratic power of India and Nepal must be united in a Hindutva saturation to combat the Islamist power in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Hence,  the establishment of Hindu Rashtra in Bharat and Nepal is the precondition to making an Akhand Bharat in a practical sense. Then, the role of Bhutan and Sri Lanka will come up with a favour accordingly.

Only establishment of a cultural-constitutional-sovereign Hindu Rashtra in Bharat is the first step that can shape an Akhand Bharat in the future. If RSS-BJP does not agree with this, the rise of Alternative Hindutva Forces in India will establish the cultural-constitutional-sovereign Hindu Rashtra and Akhand Bharat as these are inevitable.
