BJP Slams Congress for ‘Insulting’ Ambedkar by Distributing Blank Page Constitution Copies at Nagpur Rally.

Devout Hindu Advocate Amita Sachdeva filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India against  Rahul Gandhi for allegedly disrespecting Indian  Constitution by displaying a ‘fake, altered version’.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 10, 2024:: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly condemned Congress for allegedly distributing ‘blank copies of the Indian Constitution’ (actually, notepad with cover of Constitution)  at Rahul Gandhi’s Samvidhan Samman Sammelan convention in Nagpur. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala accused Congress of insulting the Constitution and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, stating that this act reveals Congress’s  anti-Constitution character.

‘Insulting the Constitution and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is the true identity of Congress,’ Poonawala said. ‘At their so-called Samvidhan Samman Sammelan, Congress distributed copies of the Constitution with a red cover, instead of the usual blue one with some blank pages.’

“Strangely, the inside of the copies was blank. This is an insult to the Constitution and a grave insult to Ambedkar. Congress has repeatedly insulted the Constitution and Ambedkar in this manner” Poonawala said.

This incident has sparked a heated debate between the two parties, with the BJP criticizing Congress for disrespecting the Constitution and its founding principles.

The controversy surrounding the Constitution copy carried by Rahul Gandhi has taken a dramatic turn in poll-bound Maharashtra. BJP alleged that Congress destroyed the original Constitution, which featured pictures of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

“This is the party that destroyed the original copy of the Constitution, which had pictures of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. They have insulted and mocked every constitutional institution, from the judiciary to the election commission, and continue to do so,” Poonawala said.

BJP top leaders including PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah condemn the dishonouring the Indian Constitution as made by Rahul Gandhi in a very inappropriate manner.

Taking the concern seriously, devout Hindu advocate  Anita Sachdeva has formally filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India against  Rahul Gandhi for allegedly disrespecting our Constitution by displaying a fake, altered version during Nagpur rally.

Taking her X handle Advocate Sachdeva conveyed, “Such actions mock the values enshrined by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly. I have requested the EC to investigate this matter and consider disqualifying him from office for breaching public trust and disrespecting the Constitution.”

While contacting Advocated Sachdeva told HENB about her plan of legal action to restore the dignity of Indian Constitution and to uphold the provisions of Representation of the People Act, 1951.
