HE Media Bureau | Mumbai | July 03, 2014:: In this time of reporting simultaneous protests against the film “Singham Returns” are going on in various corners of India under the leadership of hindu Jana Jagruti Samiti and some other pro-active Hindu organisations. This protests have been started today and will continue till 15th August so that the release of this film can be stopped on its Independence day release.
This film is most degenerating to the Hindus sentiments as a saint like persons has been depicted as a mafia in a very bad light and the hero of this film offers Namaz in a Mazar and salutes it for the glorification of Islam as the trailer of the film uploaded in youtube.
This film “Singham Returns” comes under the banner of Reliance Entertainment of Anil Ambani (whose wife a Muslim Tina Munim) , Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Rohit Shetty Production. The story of this film is written by Sajid-Farhad and screen play is written by Yunus.
In the sequel to Rohit Shetty 2011 blockbuster “Singham”, Ajay Devgan reprises his role as D.C.P. Bajirao Singham, a no-nonsense police officer, while Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the female lead.
Scenes from the upcoming film show a khaki-clad Devgan saluting a Mazar (mausoleum) and many others, in which he is humiliating and insulting a character that depicts an Indian spiritual guru. In his virtual play Bajirao Singham has been appeared here by Gazi Rao Singham.
While many felt Bollywood community as a whole is merely an investment centre for Muslim terrorists like Dawood, some others place the blame on the celebrities who choose money over integrity.This picture, that has now been circulated on the internet, and questions have been raised on why most Bollywood villains are Hindus and if it is part of a larger propaganda that is trying to brainwash viewers away from Hinduism.
Many even targeted acclaimed director, producer and screenwriter Mahesh Bhatt in this whirlwind of speculations, insults and debates.
Back on 2 January 2013, a video titled “Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Bollywood” was posted on the spiritual guru’s YouTube channel “Art of Living TV,” in which he was asked about his comments on a recent Bollywood film, referring to Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal starrer “OMG”, which showed idol worship in bad light. In light of #AntiHindu Bollywood, this video has risen to prominence with supporters of the trend reverently quoting him.
The spiritual leader, in the video, had commented on how without idols, pictures, music, dance and colorful festival is synonymous to Indian culture, and that the country would be no better than Afghanistan where statues of 2000 year old Bamiyana Budhas were destroyed.
“You can’t put all Ashrams into one basket and say they’re hopeless. You can’t say all temples are simply… looting money..What do the Bollywood do?.. For ‘Vicks’ advertisement they have to come and sneeze two times.. that’s it… two, three Crores they take home. And what do they do? Drink, go for drugs and drinking, partying and waste money. Whose money they are wasting? Public!”
He goes on to add that most Bollywood celebrities engage in “immoral, unethical behaviour,” and are miserable. “And they say there should be no idols, there should be no ‘poojas’, don’t go to ‘satsangs’.”
“You will see in Bollywood, anybody wearing a ’tilak’ will be a villain. Someone with a little ‘chotti’. He must be a bad guy. They bring the dignity of people who are practicing the ancient wisdom or religion in a bad light, so that the young people can move away from that. The more young people move away from the traditional values, they can make them susceptible for drugs. All these lobbies work towards them. What stops youth from drugs, I tell you. It is the religiosity.”
“Unfortunately Bollywood is destroying its (Indian culture) by projecting it all in a negative light. And who is funding this? Coming from Dawood-type of people”.
Seeing all these one can ask a reasonable question definitely. Is the hold of ‘D’ Company now gradually increasing to make more and more anti-Hindu and pro-Muslim films after the demise of Bala Saheb Thackeray? The probability cannot be denied.
But, we must blame the trend of Bollywood films for the vilification of Hindutva and glorification of Islam. These film makers could not depict a Muslim Peer in the place of the mafia in a clad of a Hindu saint like image. Not they dared to make a sequence to offer prayer in a Mahaklaxmi Temple or Siddhi Vinayak Temple or to salute it in a police uniform? Why this Hindu bashing is up-coming in the films made in these days?
The answer is simple. Hindus make protests even with a limitation of societal norms. They don’t follow the Azad Maidan type violations. And these are the advantages of Anil Ambani, Ajay Devgan or Rohit Shetty. These writer or screen play writer, Sajid-Farhad or Yunus are nothing but the paid workers of Ambani, Devgan or Shetty.
Protest against humiliation is good. In earlier cases Hindus protested and even went to courts against ‘Rash-Leela’ and “Bhagh Milkha Bhag”. But, what happened? Nothing.
Now, we have to avenge on personal level who don’t care the sentiments of Hindus for their personal interest. When they will understand their personal loss, may be they will have some sense for rectification. Ambani, Devgan and Shetty must be tied in a rope of hatred before put them into the fire of wrath. Otherwise all the paintings of naked Hindu deities by M. F. Husain will be the materials of the upcoming films by Ambani, Devgan or Shetty.
We didn’t allow the staying of M F Husain in Bharat for his anti Hindu eccentricity. Why there is a concession for these bastards in the present row??

and also from the widespread protesting posts on facebook that the film “Singham Returns” starred by Ajay Devgan & Kareena Kappor in its promo exhibits a Hindu Saint in bad light as a villain & the hero being shown talking in a very derogatory manner to the saint; but on the other, he (the hero) is shown as visiting a mosque, in police uniform; reading ‘namaz’ and saluting the mosque, I do hereby raise my protest against your authority’s repotedly administrative act of certifying the same while indulging in denigration of my religious faith of Hinduism as in sharp contrast with Islam.
Such deliberate act of COMPARATIVE DENIGRATION of Hindu faith is reportedly done by Sajid-Farhad & Yunus Sajawal in writing & screenplaying the film while having failed to appreciate the necessity of precaution against that it may greatly hurt the religious feelings of millions of Hindu people like me all over the world.
I am of the humble opinion that such comparative denigration of a particular religion can’t be protected within the scope & provisions of article 19 of the Indian Constitution for the purpose of extending freedom of speech and expression of an artist.
I wonder what would have been the fate of an artist in Pakistan, Bangladesh or any Middle-east country, if such comparative denigration were committed against the interest of Islam. I say so to steer your mind to realize the importance of a wise use of the Constitutional Fundamental Right to Freedom of Speech & Expression as contrasted with lavish insensitive use of the same in the said film.
In the foregoing facts and circumstances, I most humbly pray you to wisely reconsider your act of film certification in favour of the said most insensitively scripted & screenplayed film which if not immediately censured, would otherwise hurt my religious feelings/belief to the core, and discharge your administrative duties accordingly.
