HENB | Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) | 23 Feb 2015:: Staunch Hindutvawadi and popular BJP MLA elected in the Legislative Assembly from Goshamahal Constituency (Telangana), T Raja Singh Lodh and his family members are being threatened to kill since last many days. Recently on 18thFebruary, he was threatened to kill on a telephone at night.
Shri Thakur has submitted all the details of these threats to the officer in Mangalhat Police Station on 19th February and has demanded a thorough enquiry in the said matter. MLA Thakur has united Hindus in Bhagyanagar, in a very adverse condition despite having Muslim majority. Since he had organised a grand procession on Ramnavami Festival providing security to Hindu temples, it cannot be denied that fanatics only may be responsible for the threats.
At latest it is known that the matter is still under investigation and Hyderabad Police is trying to reveal the phone/mobile numbers to cause threat calls to T Raja Singh.
Experts say that the long rifts between Raja Singh Thakur and the Owiasi bothers of AIMIM ( All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen) is the bone of contention as the a born Hindutvawadi and now BJP MLA of Goshamahal has been opposing the illegal cow slaughter in Hyderabad and the perpetration for the removal of age old Bhagyalakshi Temple from Charminar premises. Some of the experts also opine that suspected Radical Islamic Forces and Ultra Jihadists may be hatching plans to murder Singh with his families.
A staunch Hindu face of Hyderabad, Raja Singh is well known for his patriotic nature and devotion towards Hindu Dharm. His nature is greatly impacted by the lives of Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Sekhar Azad , Veer Savarkar and Subash Chandra Bose. Raja Singh Thakur directly or indirectly maintains and helps many Goshalas (Cow shelters), as reported.
At an early age Raja Singh Thakur was attracted towards Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. After joining Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and learning discipline of life he also devoted his time for Hindu Vahini organization which works for Hindutva cause and safe guards Hindu Rights. Afterwards he formed Sri Ram Hindu Yuva Sena and also came to close contact with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
