No mosque possible in Ayodhya: Yogi Adityanath

DC Correspondent | Lucknow | Feb 27, 2015:: BJP MP form Gorakhpur, Mahant Yogi Adityanath has ruled out the proposal for an out-of-court settlement with regard to the Ayodhya issue.

He said that just as there could not be a temple in Mecca or in the Vatican City, there was no possibility of a mosque in Ayodhya. He said that Ayodhya, the land of Sanatan Dharma, was a sacred city since it is the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Adityanath was responding to questions on the proposal for a dual shrine at the dispute site in Ayodhya. “Hashim Ansari (main litigant in the case) and Mahant Gyan Das (Akhara Parishad head) are making statements they should not be making.

They should first understand the sentiments of millions of Hindus before making such uncalled for statements,” he said.

Priyangi Agarwal | TNN | Bareilly | Feb 25, 2015:: Reacting to the proposed out-of-court settlement of the disputed site at Ayodhya between Hashim Ansari, main litigant in the case, and Mahant Gyan Das, akhara parishad head, BJP MP from Gorakhpur Yogi Adityanath rubbished the suggestion of constructing both a mosque and a temple in the disputed site.

Speaking with reporters in Shahjahanpur, where he was attending a sant sammelan – meeting of ascetics — Adityanath said, “Just as a temple cannot come up in Mecca-Medina or Vatican City, Ayodhya cannot have a mosque.” He said Ayodhya, the land of Sanatan Dharma, is a sacred city, the birthplace of Lord Ram.

“Hashim Ansari and Mahant Gyan Das are making statements they should not be making. If they want to construct both a temple and a mosque in Ayodhya, why have they proposed a high partition wall? They agree that there should be a 100-foot-high wall between the temple and mosque, when they should be concentrating on removing walls between the two.”

He asserted that the Allahabad high court had approved that the disputed site was the birthplace of Lord Ram. In a verdict later stayed by the Supreme Court, the Allahabad high court had ruled in September 2010 that the nearly 70-acre disputed plot would be divided in three, with a third going to Ram Lalla, represented by the Hindu Mahasabha, a third to the Sunni Wakf Board and a third to the Nirmohi Akhara.

In May 2011, a bench of the Supreme Court stayed the HC ruling, observing that it was strange, as no party had sought a division of the site.

On Wednesday, Adityanath said, “When the high court approved that the disputed place is the birth place of Lord Ram, there should be preparation for constructing a grand temple of Lord Ram. The high court accepted that there was no mosque.”

Main litigant in the matter, Hashim Ansari, on Monday had discussed with akhara parishad chief Mahant Gyan Das a proposal for the resolution of the Ayodhya dispute, out of court. The proposal reportedly was that the disputed premises would accommodate both a mosque and a temple, with a partition wall that was 100 feet high between the two.

Adityanath also defended the controversial remarks of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who said that Mother Teresa’s service to the poor was just a cover for conversion. Yogi Adityanath said Mother Teresa’s group was still practicing conversion through aid for the poor. “What people associated with Mother Teresa do is ‘sauda’ (deal) – not ‘seva’ (service). It is a conversion campaign,” Adityanath said.

Ayodhya is the birth place of RAMA- but not the land of Muslim

About 950 years ago the Muslims invaded India. Their aim was to conquer, convert, destroy and loot. Due to their notorious attacking they were successful. At that time Muslims burned many Hindus- temples and erected mosques on top of the burned out temples and on other locations also. In the ruling time of Muslim in India, English imperialist-East India Company invaded India with Christianity. They came first as traders, secondly-Bible and third was sword where they were building their own military force, secretly, to take over India and they were getting help from Great Britain to do so, and they succeeded. The British bribed the military by paying salaries to fight for them, to control Muslims. Many Sikhs, Indians joined the British military and betrayed Hindus-(Bhagavaandaas Tyaagi)

Hindus have always opened their hearts to all faiths across the globe, protected them, sheltered them, nourished them, never abused them, never terrorized them, and only allowed them total freedom to practice their faith without demeaning them, terrorizing them, destroying their places of worship and forcing them to convert. If we want to know the historical facts of invade by Muslims and Christians we should understand the reality and its pre- historical accounts.

In 1520 the Muslim ruler Baber came, plundered, ruined, and demolished Rama Temple and built Babri Masjid using the demolished debris. The events of December 6, 1992Hindus attacked the Babri Masjid, they were only taking over their sacred place and thousands of history. No nation can afford to ignore the history. History of mankind has not started on 1528. Among the excavation yields ASI mentioned were stone and decorated bricks, mutilated sculpture of divine couple, carved architectural members including foliage patterns, amalaka, kapotapali, doorjamb with semi-circular shrine pilaster, broken octagonal shaft of black schist pillar, lotus motif, circular shrine having pranjala (watershute) in the north and 50 pillar bases in association with a huge structure. This should give some idea of the magnitude of the distortion involved in turning Babar into a tolerant person, let alone a prince charming. And when in a particularly happy mood, he composed the following dirge: ‘For the sake of Islam I became a wanderer; I battled infidels and Hindus. I determined to become a martyr Thank God I became a holy warrior.’ http://savetemples.org

Sudhir-Architect has posted- (in shirt) In 1528 A.D. Babar came to Ayodhya and he destroyed the ancient temple and on its site built a mosque, still
known as Babar’s mosque. The materials of the old structure [i.e., the temple]
were largely employed, and many of the columns were in good preservation.” Guru Nanak. He was a contemporary of Babar, and an eyewitness to his vandalism. Nanak condemned him in the strongest terms. The historian Harsh Narain in his book The Ayodhya Temple Mosque Dispute: Focus on Muslim Sources, writes: “Guru Nanak, according to Bhai Man Singh’s Pothi Janam Sakhi, said to have been composed in 1787 Anno Vikrami/1730 A.D., visited Ayodhya and said to his Muslim disciple Mardana: ‘Mardania! eh Ajudhia nagari Sri Ramachandraji ki hai. So,chal, iska darsan kari’e. Translation: ‘Mardana! This Ayodhya city belongs to Sri Ramachandra Ji. So let us have its darsana.'”

This indicates that Nanak visited Ayodhya shortly before the destruction of the Rama temple by Babar. Another work by Baba Sukhbasi Ram gives a similar account, again suggesting that Nanak visited Ayodyha before the temple was destroyed by his contemporary, the Mughal invader Babar. Muslim sources also give a similar account.
After the destruction of Babar’s mosque the excavation report said- ‘These pits gave away two-thousand year old molded bricks and ornate stone pieces of different shapes and sizes.

The news item dishonored these facts. Beautiful stone pieces bearing carved Hindu ornamentations like lotus, Kaustubh jewel, alligator facade, etc., have been used in these walls. These decorated architectural pieces have been anchored with precision at varied places in the walls. A tiny portion of a stone slab is sticking out at a place below 20 feet in one of the pits. The rest of the slab lies covered in the wall. The projecting portion bears a five-letter Dev Nagari inscription that turns out to be a Hindu name. The items found below 20 feet should be at least 1,500 years old. According to archaeologists about a foot of loam layer gathers on topsoil every hundred years. Primary clay was not found even up to a depth of 30 feet. It provides the clue to the existence of some structure or the other at that place during the last 2,500 years. In 1992, we all Hindus in the world were disturbing about the confusion of Ram Janambhumi of Ayodhya, but at 30 Sep-2010, UP- High Court’s verdict and the unambiguous decision that the Ram Janma Bhumi Mandir site is indeed the birth place of Lord Ram and indeed a Hindu temple has existed there from time immemorial.
