Cow slaughterer has no right to live in country: Uttarakhand’s Congress​ CM Harish Rawat.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | Nov 20, 2015:: Strongly terming those who slaughter cows as the country’s biggest enemies, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Chandra Singh Rawat on Thursday said they had “no right to live in the country”.

Harish Rawat is a veteran Indian politician who has been Chief Minister of Uttarakhand since February 2014. A five time Member of Indian Parliament, Rawat is a leader of Indian National Congress party.

Rawat’s version for cow protection has earned a big astonishment as his  Congress party has been protesting the stringent policies on Cow protection and ban on Cow-slaughter by some BJP run states as implemented there so far.

“Anyone who kills cows, no matter which community he belongs to is India’s biggest enemy and has no right to live in the country,” Rawat said addressing a function on the occasion of Gopashtami in Haridwar on Thursday. Law will deal sternly with those who kill cows in Uttarakhand and the state government will do everything for cow conservation, the CM said.

CM Rawat tried to connect  the Cow, Tree and Ganga protection as a very essential steps for good economy and all these are related to the immediate benefits of the poor people. He clarified further, “We should not mix politics in the issues like Cow protection or Ganga Protection”.

He said the state government has already passed a proposal against cow slaughter. He said Uttarakhand is the only state which gives not only land for cowsheds but also helps in arranging for their fodder.

Uttarakhand CM Rawat speaks alike Haryana CM Monharlal Khattar who also advised such persons to go to Pakistan who do allow cow slaughter and like beef eating.

Weeks before, President Pranab Mukherjee had accorded his approval to the Haryana ‘Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Bill, 2015’.

   The step which has been raised by honorable chief minister of Utrakhand Harish Rawat is praiseworthy for protecting cow and imposing the rule in state to stop cow killing.
