Radha Mohanty | HENB | Jharsuguda | 18 January, 2016:: Keeping the tradition alive, Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, the son of late Dilip Singh Judev of Jashpur (Chattishgarh) Royal Family took the charge of Ghar wapsi again in Orissa.
In a successful programme of re-conversion (ghar wapsi), 140 Christians from Phulbani, Nuapada and Sundargarh and 2 Muslims Jajpur have returned to Hindu faith again. Prabal Pratap Singh Judev washed the feet of all the home comers to Hinduism in the same tradition as maintained by his father. Judev welcomed all the home comers with putting ‘tilak‘ (holy sign) on their forehead.
The progaramme was held in Jharasuguda Satsang Bhawan on Sunday, where Judev said he would continue his fight against the conspiracy of missionaries who generally allures the innocents Hindus of tribal areas to take them into Christianity. “We must stop conversion at any cost, otherwise Hindus will be a minority one day. Side by side, we also put our effeort to return back our brothers and sister who have converted to other faith in some odd situations”, Judev added.
The programme was jointly organised by Harikatha satsang Samiti, Gyatri Parivar and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. All the home comers participated in Gyatari Jajna led by Sunil Panda of Gayatri Parivar. Panda said, “Gyatri Parivar is working in the society to maintain Hindu culture and tradition in a genuine form and dedicated to offer the best teaching and principals for the human kind”.
In this Ghar wapsi programme Radharani Panda, a BJP MLA Brajrajnagar attended as Chief guest and told these returners to Hindu fold have done in their own will and no compulsion had been applied on them.
In a statement the VHP unit of Jharsuguda conveyed HENB that the Hindu society would make all efforts to check Christian conversion conspiracy in Orissa and ready to fight in all fronts and in all forms.
