Though the various terror link from Glasgow to Dhaka, Mumbai to Islamabad are well exposed with the Terror Televangelist Zakir Naik through his Peace TV, Social Media, Islamic teaching camps and his public programmes, the self-exiled Jihadi Naik’s programmes are still being telecast through cable networks in various districts in West Bengal defying the central ban of Peace TV. Moreover, his speeches are being aired through Mosques, Madrasas and Islamic Jalsas (religious congregation) which are obviously creating communal hatred in many places in Bengal including the vulnerable border districts with Bangladesh. His communal VCDs and DVDs are also available in open market without any restriction here.

A five member delegation comprised of Shri Chittaranjan Sural, Coordinator, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Eastern Region; Shri Upananda Brahmachari of Hindu Existence Forum and the Editor of www.hinduexistence.com; Smt Rajyashree Choudhuri, State President of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha; Shri Subhash Chakraborty, Gen. Secy. Nikhil banga Nagarik Samiti and Shri Bikarna Naskar, Dharma Utthan Samiti, Paschim Banga, craved the attention of WB Governor about the rising atrocities on marginal Hindus and Hindu activists in increasing communal atmosphere in Bengal being uncontrollable due to the Jihadi preaching and propagation by Zakir Naik like personalities and others.

Tripathi has been also informed how the victims of the Hindu families under Islamic onslaught in Bengal are being blatantly refused to lodge complaints and FIRs in various local police stations under the whip of Islamically influenced political parties very unfortunately. The situations of marginal Hindus in Muslim majority districts in Bengal viz. Malda, Murshidabad and Uttar Dinajpur and other Muslim influenced districts like South and North 24 Parganas, Birbhum, Burdwan, Hoogly, Howrah, Nadia and Kolkata itself, were explained to the Governor to give an alert to the concerned authorities for taking proper action.

While deputationists urged the Governor for a blanket ban on Zakir Naik as visible in the local cable networks in WB and on his books and VCDs (both IRF and pirated editions) available in the market, Tripathi assured measures by alerting the respective authorities for stopping any religious hatred or discrimination undesirable so far.

A written memorandum has also been handed over to the Governor with supporting documents with a set of spiritual books of Sanatan Sanstha by the delegation.
