    Before Buddhism was brought by Mahina the emissary send by King Asoka two hundred years after Buddha’s demise. History teaches that the king and his people in Ilankai was Tamil Hindus. Mahavamsa has distorted the true history. That too was written in Pali, in the 5th or 6th century as Sinhala Language was non existence till 8th century. Many archaeological findings belonging to Tamils history was being destroyed since1921during British Colonial period. They had divide and rule policy anti Tamils
