Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mumbai | Oct 9, 2018:: “There is a BJP majority government in the Center and in many states … the President is his … Uttar Pradesh also has the BJP government … Yogi Adityanath who is dressed in saffron is the chief minister … even then there will not be a Ram temple by them. Shiv Sena will go to Ayodhya and build Ram temple,” Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut expressed this in firm determination. He also gave a clarion call to the Hindus from all over the world to come and join the temple construction work at Ayodhya Ram janmabhoomi. Raut was speaking to a programme in Mumbai to felicitate Advocate Sanjeev Punalekar.
The National Secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (Hindu Council of Lawyers), Sanjeev Punalekar was felicitated yesterday by Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Routh in a programme arranged by Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangha and Rashtiya Patrakar Manch.
Punalekar is the national secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, a voluntary organisation of “nationalist” Hindu advocates. It works closely with right-wing Sanatan Sanstha. Punalekar is defending in court the Hindutva activists who are accused of being involved in conspiracy to kill rationalist Narendra Dabholkar (2013) and Left leader Govind Pansare (2015). Advocate Punalekar is also fighting in the cases for Hindu suspects in the killings of Karnataka scholar M M Kalburgi (2015) and journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh (2017).
Expressing his views on this occasion, Sanjay Raut appreciated the ‘Hindu Council of Lawyers’ who fought for Hindus under the repression of Govts in many occasions.
“Fighting for the Hindus is not crime, this is the real Nationalist work. We believe that this nation is of Hindus, and we should begin to call Hindustan as Hindu Rashtra” Raut told in his speech.
“Even after coming to power in the name of Rama, BJP did not take any concrete action about the construction of the temple,” Raut strongly commented.
Referring the Triple Talaq, SC/ST Ordinance etc, Rauth asked, why the central government is not bringing an ordinance for the construction of Ram Temple?
“People are disillusioned with this so-called ‘Hindutvavadi’ government in the Center, which has been in power since 2014, on various fronts–from Ram temple to the issue of implementation of Uniform Civil Code,” he said. Raut justified the Vidhidnya Parishad for defending Hindu men ‘dragged under conspiracy’ in the murder cases.
“When terrorists like Ajmal Kasab and Yakub Memon can get an advocate then how can the similar act be termed wrong when the HVP (Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad) comes forward for the defence of the accused persons?” asked Raut.
Raut said, Advocate Punalekar has helped to secure exoneration of many Hindus and he should continue to work in the same direction.
In his reply Punalekar said, “We will not only liberate the youths arrested under the pretext of so-called ‘Hindu terrorism’ if they are innocent, but even if they are guilty, we will provide them legal advice free of cost, because we don’t doubt their Hindutva and objectives behind it”.
Clarifying the course of action on Ram Mandir, the Shiv Sena MP strongly opined, “Shiv Sainiks will go to Ayodhya in thousands to build Ram temple there and the issue of Ram Temple would not be abandoned by Shiv Sena anyway”.
On this occasion, National President of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, Advocate Virender Ichalkaranjikar; Rashtiya Patrakar Manch convener Arvind Pansare; Advocate Dharmaraj Shinde and Hindu Dharma Commentator S G Shevade were also present.
