Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Oct 29, 2018:: Demand for bringing an ordinance for early construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya grew stronger on Monday within the BJP and various Sangh Parivar outfits, while the Congress called for restraint and to await for the Supreme Court verdict without linking the issue with votebank politics.
Soon after the Supreme Court said the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute cases would be heard by an appropriate bench in the first week of January 2019, voices emerged from within the BJP favouring early construction of the temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

As the Supreme court of India have been ignoring the issues of Hindu sentiments linked whether it is Sabarimala or Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the patience and exceptions of Hindu society and the political parties depend upon Hindu votes are being drastically violated.
While lakhs of supporters of AntarRashtriya Hindu Parishad took part in Lucknow to Ayodhya Rally (21-23 Oct) led by Dr Pravin Togadia and internal reports of BJP worry them for a meaningful loss in next general election, if start of Ram Temple delays further; the demand for an ordinance in parliament comes forth obviously.
The RSS said that the Supreme Court should make an early decision on the Ram Janmabhoomi land dispute in Ayodhya and the Union government should bring a legislation to remove hurdles+, if any, in the way of the construction of a Ram temple at the site.
RSS chief spokesperson Arun Kumar said the Allahabad high court in its verdict has accepted that the site is the birthplace of Lord Ram and a temple existed there.
Viswha Hindu Parishad and its patron body of Seers and saints (Dharma Sansad) also demand an appropriate ordinance to remove all judicial and political hurdles for the early starting of magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Dr Ramvilas Vedanti prominent Ayodhya seer and ex-BJP MP also demands an ordinance to start the construction of Ram Temple before 6th Dec 2018.
RSS ideologue Prof Rakesh Sinha, now a MP in Rajya Sabha and Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi, National BJP spokesperson have hinted preparation of an ordinance for Ram Mandir, while they were participating a debate in Times Now. As such, an ordinance for Ram Temple grows inevitably.
The Allahabad high court judgment, delivered in four civil suits, had said the 2.77-acre land be divided equally among three parties — the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lalla. Now, the case is pending in Supreme Court.

“The Sangh believes a grand Ram temple should be constructed soon at the birthplace of Lord Ram. And land should be allotted at the birthplace for temple construction. With the construction of the temple, an atmosphere of unity and harmony will be created.
“With this in view, the Supreme Court should make an early decision and if there are any difficulties, the government should make a law to remove all hurdles in the way of giving land for temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site,” Kumar said in a statement.
BJP leader Vinay Katiyar alleged that the issue was being delayed “under pressure” from the Congress, which denied the charge.
“The decision is being delayed under pressure from the Congress. People like Kapil Sibal and Prashant Bhushan are pressing for delaying the issue. Till when will Ram bhakts (devotees) wait? In 2019, the Congress will come to know,” he said.
His party colleague Sanjeev Baliyan said, “I am surprised at the priorities of the court. I am of the view that the Ram Temple should be constructed. The government should explore all possibilities.”

BJP’s ally Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said the Ram temple is an issue of faith and demanded that the government come out with an ordinance soon.
“It is a matter of faith. The court cannot decide on this. The court won’t do anything for it+. The government should bring an ordinance,” he said.
Referring to PM Modi’s tweet in the past showing his commitment for building Temple in the very place of Ramjanmabhoomi, VHP’s Gen Secy Dr Surendra Jain tweeted: 1) #ModiJi, Nation was waiting for this public stand. #Vhp had firm belief in your commitment. Now #SC has also gave clear indication. Bring bill for #RamMandir in winter session. and 2)
#SupremeCourt has adjourned #RamMandir case till jan. They have endorsed our stand. Given time to being legislation. Time for central govt. to act fast. Bring the bill in winter session.
As the majority Hindu people of India are unhappy and restless with the judicial delay for decades in the matter of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the BJP led Govt in the Center has no better option than an appropriate ordinance to remove the hurdles of Ram Mandir construction.
