Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | April 17, 2019:: Prominent Sadhvi (saint woman) Pragya Singh Thakur on Wednesday formally joined the BJP and has been fielded against senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh from Bhopal.
Hence, Bhopal has made as a battle field of referendum on series of lies of Saffron Terrorism including fake Hinduism propagated by Nehru-Gandhi family and People’s trust on Hindutva propagated by Tilak- Hedgewar- Savarkar.
“I have formally joined BJP, I will contest elections and will win also,” Thakur said after joining the party.
Thakur, who is also known as Swamini Chetanananda Giri, who is out on bail, had joined the BJP only hours before her name was announced as its candidate, underscoring the saffron party’s attempt to bring the Hindutva plank at the centre stage of polls in the high profile constituency.
While Thakur was an accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts before being released last year after the NIA said it had no prosecutable evidence against her, she is seen as a “deep saffron” figure.
Though she can be considered as a good pick against Singh, who had called the 2008 Batla House encounter of Indian Mujahideen terrorists fake, Thakur can be a political risk given her inexperience.
Singh has been a spearhead of the campaign against “saffron terror”, having gone to Azamgarh, where several IM terrorists hailed from, to meet their families and call for a probe into the Batla House encounter in which Delhi Police officer Mohan Sharma was killed.
Last month, Thakur had showed her willingness to contest against Singh, after her name had started doing rounds as a potential nominee. The surprise candidature of Singh is said to have prompted the BJP to redraw its strategy for Bhopal.
“Digvijaya is an anti-Hindu leader. He had called Hindus terrorists,” Thakur said earlier.
Bhopal is a BJP stronghold as the party has been winning the seat continuously since 1989. The last Congress MP elected from Bhopal was K N Pradhan in 1984.
Thakur was given a clean chit by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the 2008 bomb blasts case.
However, a special NIA court in December 2018 refused to discharge her from the case.

Daughter of the soil of Madhya Pradesh, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur studied at the local Lahar College in Bhind, her hometown. She was a good student and completed her M.A in history from there. During her time in the college, she enrolled in the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (commonly known as ABVP). ABVP is the student wing of RSS and is most active in colleges and universities.
Sadhvi Pragya being a born leader, showed her traits and rose to prominence. She became renowned for her patriotism that shined through her fiery speeches on Hinduism and India’s unity. As a result, she quickly gathered a large fan following and eventually became the state secretary of ABVP. Furthermore, she was also a very active member of Durga Vahini, the women subsidiary of Bajrang Dal under VHP fold. Later, she formed the Vande Mataram Jan Kalyan Samiti. Pragya initiated in Sannyasa (a life of renunciation) and given her Sannyasa name as Swamini Chetnananda Giri by prominent Hindu saint and Chief of Juna Akhada, Swami Avdheshananda Giri in 2007.

Prominent Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence Website Editor, Upananda Brahmachari, who struggled and propagated much to free Sadhvi Pargya when she was in jail, welcomed BJP’s decision to field Sadhvi Pragya against anti-Hindu Congressi monster Digvijay Singh.
In a short message to HENB, Brahmachari told, “This a very good decision of BJP to accept right line Hindutva in their Development trail. Fielding Sadhvi Pragya Thakur against Digvijay Singh is just not an election fight. Bhopal is set as a case of referendum on ‘Lie of Saffron Terrorism’ including ‘fake Hinduism propagated by Nehru-Gandhi family’ and ‘People’s trust on Hindutva propagated by Tilak-Hedgewar-Savarkar’. This is a good chance to defeat the Congressi policy and conspiracy of P Chidambaram-Sushil Shinde-Digvijay Singh to establish a fake ‘Hindu-Saffron Terrorism’ and take a right revenge to send Chidambaram-Shinde-Singh to jail for at least 9 yrs who put Sadhvi in jail for the same time. It is sure that Durga Pragya Thakur Ji will kill Ashurik (demonic) characteristic of Digvijay Singh in this Loksabha Election 2019.”
In a telephonic conversation Brahmachari conveyed HENB that the political and police torturer of Sadhvi Pargya must be punished and Hindutva proponent, Sadhvi Pragya will raise her voice in Parliament for Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Go Raksha (Cow Protection), Sabarimala Movement, Uniform Civil Code and Practical Hindutva.
