Kolkata court issues arrest warrant against Cong MP Shashi Tharoor over ‘Hindu Pakistan’ remark.

Aangshumala Guha Ganguly | HENB | Kolkata | Aug 13, 2019:: A Kolkata court on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against Congress MP Shashi Tharoor for a remark he had made last year regarding the formation of a ‘Hindu Pakistan’.

Known for his crude anti-Hindutva and anti-Sangha Parivar stance, Tharoor is also accused for the murder of his celebrity (rich Indian businesswoman) wife Sunanda Pushkar.

A Metropolitan Magistrate court in the city (Bankshall Court) issued the warrant against the Thiruvananthapuram MP, based on a case filed by advocate Sumeet Chowdhary.

Advocate Sumeet Chowdhary told HENB that Tharoor is booked under Section 153A/295A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 2 of The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971. Adv Chowdhury said he filed the complaint because Tharoor’s remarks were an insult to India which is a secular nation and that the politician had even refused to apologise for his comment.

The Hindu activists in Kolkata are also exalted that ‘a Hindutva-hater culprit like Tharoor is dragged by a court of law finally’.

In July last year, Tharoor had said if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it would create a condition leading to the formation of a ‘Hindu Pakistan’.

Addressing an event in Thiruvananthapuram, Tharoor had said the BJP will write a new Constitution which will pave the way for a nation, much like Pakistan, where the rights of minorities are not respected.

“If they (BJP) win a repeat in the Lok Sabha our democratic constitution as we understand it will not survive as they will have all the elements they need to tear apart the constitution of India and write a new one,” the Congress leader had said, adding, “That new one will be the one which will enshrine principles of Hindu Rashtra, that will remove equality for minorities, that’ll create a Hindu Pakistan and that isn’t what Mahatama Gandhi, Nehru, Sardar Patel, Maulana Azad  and great heroes of freedom struggle fought for.”

Infamous Shashi Tharoor is habituated to attack the Hindutva concepts of Vivekananda, Tilak, Aurobinda, Dr. Hedgewad, Shyamaprasad, Savarkar which are followed by millions of Hindutva believers in India. In the advent of the high proliferation of Hindutva ideologies propagated by Sangha Parivar, Tharoor got eccentric to attack RSS and BJP virulently time and again. Tharoor wrote many books against Hindutva but never spent any word against Jihad or Islamic fundamentalism.

Many Congress MPs have been hatching conspiracy against ‘Hindutva’ by narrating it as ‘Saffron Terrorism’, ‘Hindu Jihad’ or ‘Hindu Pakistan’ etc. Tharoor is leading to this Congressi trend when their mentor Digvijay Singh is now aloof somehow.

On 17 January 2014. Tharoor’s third wife Sunanda Puskar (Tharoor was also her third husband) was found dead in Delhi posh hotel+. Though it was initially described as a case of suicide, subsequent findings proved that Puskar was dead out of suspected poisoning of multi-sedative in alcohol. Autopsy report also revealed injury marks on her body. BJP MP Dr. Subramanian Swamy contested cases against Tharoor for ‘murdering’ his wife. His case is now sub judice.

   Tharoor should be arrested and prosecuted for hatching a plan to disrupt the unity between Hindus and Muslims in India.
