HENB Bangladesh Desk | Dhaka | Sept 26, 2020:: Arrested prime accused in much-talked-about Savar Hindu schoolgirl Nila Roy murder case has been placed on a seven-day police remand for interrogation.

After the hearing was over, Senior Judicial Magistrate Rajib Hasan’s court placed Mizanur Rahman Mizan on the remand after he was produced before the court on Saturday morning.

Earlier, Mizan was arrested from a room of a tin-shed house near a brick field at Rajfulbaria area under Savar Police Station. At that time, two blood stained knives were seized from his possession.

Arrested Mizan, member of a Muslim teenage gang, is a resident of Bank Colony area in Savar.

Meanwhile, police said Mizan’s father Abdur Rahman Chowdhury, 60, and mother Najmunnahar Siddiqa, 50, divulged ‘vital information’ under the remand.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Mizan’s parents from village Charigram in Manikganj district after Thursday midnight. They are the accused No. 2 and No. 3 respectively in Nila Roy murder case. They lived in a house at A-74/2 Bank Colony under Ward No. 4 in Savar Municipality.With the arrest of Mizanur, all the accused in the murder case have been arrested. Total 6 arrests so far done.

At about 8:30pm on September 20, Nila Roy (14 yrs) a 10th grade Hindu student at Aced School in the area, and daughter of Narayan Roy, was hacked allegedly by stalker Mizan in the Bank Colony area when she was going to a doctor along with her brother boarding on a rickshaw.

Locals rescued Nila and took her to Enam Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.

Nila’s family claimed that jilted Mizan killed Nila brutally after she refused his love proposal. For the last two years Mizan hatched a Love Jihad ploy to capture Nila for sexually exploiting her.

On the following day, Nila’s father filed a murder case with Savar Model Police Station accusing four persons including Mizan, his father Abdur Rahman Chowdhury and mother Nazmunnahar Siddiqa.

Seven hurt in attack on minority Hindu families in Sarail (Bangladesh) by Jihadi Muslims. 

Ujjal Cjhakraborty | Dhaka Tribune Desk | Brahman baria | Sept 20, 2020:: At least seven persons including women and teenagers were injured when a Hindu family was attacked in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The incident took place at Muchipara village area in Kalikochha union under the upazila at around 11 pm on Thursday.

The attackers–reportedly followers of Awami League’s local General Secretary Salim Uddin–launched the attack on Ripon Das, 20, when he was returning to his home from a prayer held in the neighbouring village.

It was reported, Rahat, Suman and Rasel falsely accused Ripon of carrying drugs and when he denied the allegations, they physically assaulted him thereby critically injuring the man, family sources said.

Meanwhile, when his family went to rescue him, they too were brutally attacked and seven of them had to be taken to different hospitals.

The injured are, Ripon Robi Das, 20, Titon Robi Das, 18, Shefali Rani, 42, Sanjay Robi Das, 16, Reema Rani Robi Das, 17, Sajon Robi Das, 45, and Puja Rani Das, 14.

Among them, Sajon is in critical condition and fighting for his life in a hospital in Dhaka along with two others. Rest of them are being treated in the district hospital.

Along with the injured ninth-grader Reema, her classmates, Purnima Rani Das said the accused influential people verbally harass them on their way to school and also throw brick pieces at them which makes it hard for them to attend classes.

Meanwhile, Gouri Rani, Basonti Das and others, whose homesteads were vandalised, said: “They want to evict us from this land. We pass our nights in fear that an attack may take place anytime taking our lives and honour.”

When asked about his involvement, AL leader Md Selim denied all allegations against him and said: “I heard that the villagers recovered contraband drugs from Ripon and gave him a beating afterwards. Villagers and the Hindus of the Muchipara had an altercation, that’s what I was informed later.”

“I kept them secure and safe under my watch,” the AL leader claimed to Dhaka Tribune.

Meanwhile, a ten-member activist group from the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, who were sent to inspect the area, confirmed the allegations to be true.

Sujan Dutta, joint general secretary of the organisation said: “They singled out five families to grab their land. The families and their girls and women are living in fear as they are regularly harassed and can be subjected to an attack anytime.”

Member of Parliament, Umme Fatema Nazma and AL General Secretary of the district asked the law enforcers to take the matter into consideration with priority and offered their condolences to the families.

A case has been filed accusing 16 people by Mithun Robi Das on behalf of the family on Friday, said Shafikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sarail police station.

“Acting on the case, we arrested two people named Suman and Rasel. We are also making drives to arrest the rest.

Jihadi Threats to disrupt Durga Puja in Bangladesh

Durga Puja is the biggest religious festival for Bengali Hindus. Hindus of Bangladesh also celebrate Durgapuja in Bangladesh traditionally in more than 35 thousand places in the country.

But, the fanatic Islamist forces in Bangladesh has hatched a plan to disrupt the biggest festival of Bengali Hindus objecting with the points of pandemic situation and keeping the sactity of nearby mosques around the Durga Puja pandals/venues.

The blind Muslims believe the the noise from Hindu Puja places and dram beats and chanting of mantras / devotional songs over loud speakers create lot of trouble to Allah and its worshipers in a Mosque.

So, the Muslims of Uttara area in Dhaka hanged a festoon with a appeal to stop an old Durga Puja in its scheduled place for years and to shift it to other place.

As a matter of fact many Duga Puja Committee members and key persons are getting threats from the fundamentals to stop Durga Puja in this autumnal season.

Post Scripts by Upananda Brahmachari: The Cases of Sarail being the attacks on Minority Hindu people by the majority Muslims and the brutal murder of Nila Roy by jilted Love Jihadi Mizan (Mizanur Rahman Mizan) in Savar are not some stray cases in Islamic Bangladesh. It’s a reality of rapidly decreasing Hindus in Islamic Bangladesh.

Thousand of minority Hindus are attacked, exploited, uprooted and finished in a year in Bangladesh by the Muslim perpetrators belonging to various political parties ranging to ruler Awami League to opposition Bangladesh Nationalist party. hundreds of minority Hindu girls and women in Bangladesh are victimized, forcefully married, abducted, raped,  murdered by the hands of Love Jihadis or the Rape Jihadis in Islamic Bangladesh as usual fashion.

These minority Hindu people expects a supportive voice from India from its Prime Minister Modi or the Foreign Minister Jai Shankar of Bharat to stop Hindu persecution in Bangladesh. But, they are always set disappointed by the inaction and indifference from the end of their neighbors in Indian.

Indian Hindus are still incapable to raise their voice for persecuted minority Hindus in Pakistan,  Bangladesh and Sri  Lanka. Even then the humbug RSS  people ridiculously  expresses their rubbish aspiration of Undivided Bharat (Akhand Bharat).

   This is a heinous, barbaric crime, done by an Allah-killer. India had created
   Bangladesh and if the Bangladeshi government can’t protect Hindus, then
   their is only one solution; cross the border and finish this danger. Bharat Sarkar, you can’t rule India. Why keep quiet in such a case? Hindus will
   never accept this type of killings. Bangladesh, be aware, it will take some
   time, but change your attitude towards Hindus. You all are on Indian soil.
