WB: Two Muslim drivers were arrested for gang-raping a minor Hindu girl inside ambulance playing music loudly in a pandemic night in Malda.

Shibani Pal | HENB | Malda | June 13, 2021:: They were discarding various mobile calls from the nearby nursing homes and patient parties coming randomly in a pandemic night as they were so busy in raping  a minor girl in an ambulance in a very lustful way of Islamic bestiality. To suppress the black-taped screaming and moaning of the victim, the Muslim driver and his fellow assistant driver put the music system of in a high volume playing a very popular  Qawwali (chorus Islamic song, mainly in Sufi tune), Allah hu …. Allah hu.

Priya (16, name changed), a Hindu-root minor girl went to her maternal uncle’s home on Tuesday at Jafarganj of Farakka. Later, Priya’s mother came to her brother and wanted to take back Priya in her home, but Priya denied to return.  On Friday out of a scuffle with her mother, the minor girls left the maternal uncle’s home in the afternoon alone and started roaming aimlessly.

In the late evening, the ambulance driver and his assistant, Karim Shiekh and Sadek Shiekh spotted Priya in desolate and suggested her to get into the ambulance so that they would make a lift to Priya for returning home safely.

After getting Priya in the ambulance they stopped at a food mart to get plenty of snacks. Then, Karim and Sadek started driving aimlessly and drinking alcohol in the ambulance and gave the same to Priya with cold drinks. The music system of the ambulance was put in a pick and all on a sudden they put a black tape on the mouth of Priya and knotted the hands and legs of the girl tightly to start sexual advances freely.

During the pandemic the vicinity of Farraka and adjacent places put in a very deserted one and taking this advantage Karim and Sadek stopped the ambulance in many places throughout the night and raped Priya several times and even on the go until Priya got unsupportive to resist and senseless.

In the early morning (at about 4 am) of Saturday, the Muslim culprits left Priya in the ground nearby Malda PTS Township Railway level crossing.

When some local people and civic volunteers spotted Priya in such a serious  condition, they took her in Baishnabnagar Police Station first and then Farraka Police Station and sent her to a medical center for treatment to check bleeding, as reports came in.

According to Murshidabad SP  Y Raghubangshi,  police arrested two culprits and took them 5 days to remand according to Jangipur court’s order to investigate the case properly. Assistant Public Prosecutor of Jangipur Court, Ratul Banrejee  told the Press on Saturday that the victim recovered to stability and culprits were booked under the provisions  of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences)  Act.

Police is searching other persons, if engaged in this gang rape.

It’s to be mentioned that few days before, a 60-year-old animal Rafiqul Islam (a retired Muslim school teacher) raped a 9-year-old flower-like baby girl of a poor Hindu (Scheduled caste) parents on June 5 in the same location of Malda.
