TRS leader Sajid Khan arrested for raping minor girl in Telangana’s Nirmal: Police.

TRS leader & Nirmal municipal vice-chairperson Sheikh Sajid Khan  booked for raping a minor Hindu girl in love jihad tangle.

B Upendran | HENB | Adilabad | Feb 28, 2022:: TRS leader and Nirmal Municipal Vice-Chairperson Sheikh Sajid Khan allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl multiple times. According to police, Shajid Khan took a woman and the victim, who is an 8th Standard student, to Hyderabad in January and perpetrated the crime.

Asper source,  a woman named Annapurna was first trapped Sheikh Sajid under huge allurement and she facilitated Shajid Khan’s for meeting with the victim minor girl at a hotel in Hyderabad after telling her that they were in fact going to attend a function in Nizamabad.

Nirmal Rural Sub-Inspector K Vinay said the accused Sheikh Sajid Khan (35) is a resident of YSR Colony in the Nirmal town.

Reliable source says,the 15-year-old victim, also from the same colony, is a student of Class VIII. Sajid sexually assaulted the minor girl under the pretext of love. He reportedly took her to different parts and raped her multiple times for quite a long time.

The shocking incident came to light when her Hindu parents approached the police. The victim was rescued and was housed at a Sakhi centre (short stay home) in Nirmal.

Based on a complaint lodged by the victim, a case was registered against Sajid under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and 376 (ii) (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and investigations taken up.

Sheikh Sajid, who is facing charges of raping a minor girl, has been suspended from the TRS party, said Forest and Environment Minister Indrakaran Reddy. He said the party had canceled its primary membership in the wake of the allegations against Sajid. He said the suspension would take effect immediately. The details were revealed at a press conference held at the MLA camp office on Monday.
