Bihar Minister’s insane comment, ‘Ramcharitmanas spreads hatred’ created controversy.

RJD Education Minister of Bihar abuses Ramcharitmanas claiming it spreads hatred. Dr Kumar Vishwas opposed it vehemently, demanding his removal.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Patna | Jan 13, 2023:: Bihar’s Education Minister Chandra Shekhar, an MLA  of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has given a controversial statement regarding several texts including Ramcharitmanas. He said, ‘Manusmriti, Ramcharitmanas, Bunch of Thoughts by Guru Golwalkar, these books are usually used to spread hatred. Hatred will not make the country great, but love will make the country great.’ He said, “Why was Manusmriti burnt because many abuses were given against a large section of people in it. Why was Ramcharit Manas resisted and which part was resisted?”

Education Minister Chandrashekhar said these things during the 15th convocation ceremony of Nalanda Open University (NOU) on Wednesday. He said that instead of uniting the society in the country, caste has divided it. In this, Manusmriti, Ramcharitmanas written by Goswami Tulsidas and Bunch of Thoughts written by Golwalkar worked to keep 85 percent people behind for centuries.

He also said that it has been written in Ramcharit Manas that अधम जाति में विद्या पाए, भयहु यथा अहि दूध पिलाए।. It means that people of low caste become poisonous after getting education, like a snake after drinking milk.

Such statement of Bihar Education Minister from RJD created a controversy.

Dr Kumar Vishwas, a reputed  Hindi poet, politician, and  lecturer condemned the statement of  Chandra Shekhar vehemently. He demanded the removal of the Bihar Minister from the cabinet unless he apologizes for his indecent and inappropriate comments.

“Bihar Education Minister that ‘Ramcharitmanas spread hate’ is unfortunate and condemnable. It seems he hasn’t read Ram Katha. Can he or other speak such rubbish about any other religion other than Hinduism. Just because Hindus are extremely tolerant, doesn’t mean they are weak. He is talking ill about Lord Ram, who is known for uniting all castes. He embraced all backward castes and asked everyone to criticize him if he’s wrong,” said Kumar Vishwas.

Not only that, Dr Vishwas pointed out that it was only possible to criticize Hindu Dharma as it tolerant enough. It would be fatal if such comments were made for other religions by anybody.

   These are big criminals who take support of criminals and appease them. They know Hindus wont cho their head, so they bark as they like.
   Actually Ukraine, Australian Presidents itself know more about our scriptures than such shameless hatred spreaders. Blasphemy law should be put on them and sent to jail for ever for hiring Hindu sentiments or else it will encourage criminal activities for spreading hatred.
