Amrita Yadav | HENB | Hamirpur | May 20, 2023:: In Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur district, a case of torturing a Hindu girl student by forcing her to convert to religion has come to light. It is alleged that friendship was established first by hiding religion on Facebook and then video was made to blackmail the student. On Thursday, the police registered a case under serious sections against the Muslim accused and five people of his family.

This is a case of planned Love Jihad to exploit a Hindu girl as apprehended.

Hiding the Muslim Identity

A young village resident of the Maudaha Kotwali area of Hamirpur district was doing her graduation in Physiotherapy from Kanpur. The girl student alleged that four years ago, Irfan Saudagar, a resident of Haidaria Mohal of Maudaha town, befriended her by creating a Facebook ID in the name of Rohit Hindustani.

The student filed a case

It is alleged that the accused raped the victim and made obscene videos and also took away money and jewelry by threatening to make the video viral. Maudaha Kotwali Police has registered FIR under Section 376 (2), N and 328, 386, 506 IPC. CO Vivek Yadav told that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim student. A medical examination of the girl student was also done.

Made pressure for conversion by making obscene videos

The victim physiotherapy student told that Irfan hid his religion and did shameful sexual acts with her by posing as Rohit. She also told that the accused and his family members forced her to convert by thrashing him. It was also threatened that if she did not leave the Hindu religion then the obscene videos will be made viral.

No arrests so far

Though the Police are trying to arrest the accused by forming a special team, no arrest so far was reported by any source.
