PM Modi listens to Quran at New Parliament amid allegations of Hindutva Assertion by Opp’n. But….

Quran Recitation in New Indian Parliament

Not everything is Hindutva. With Quran Reading At New Parliament, PM Modi Walks The Talk On Secular India, Shows Mirror To Opposition. Know what the recited Quran ‘ayats’ say exactly.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | May 29, 2023:: PM Modi attended an interfaith prayer event at the new Parliament House (Sansad Bhawan) on the day of the inauguration on May 28. .

The PM and other BJP leaders were seen respectfully listening to the Quran, there amid allegations of ‘Hindutva Assertion’ by Oppositions.

A ‘Sarva dharma prarthana’ (multi-faith prayer) event was held at the new Parliament building, and among those in attendance were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla, and several other ministers including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister YogiAdityanath,  Among the incantations, Quran was also recited by an Islamic cleric at the event among scriptures of 12 faith were read including Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Judaism, and Christianity.

Interestingly, leaving all the contradictions among the faiths, most  of the faith representatives upheld the messages of peace and prosperity.

But, the Muslim cleric recited from the Quran Surah 55. Ar-Rahman – verses (Ayat) 15-25 [Surah 55: 14-20] [Surah 19-25]where it is hinted, All Glory to Allah and Allah is the owner of his creation and  Muslims (the believers) are its real beneficiaries and stake-holders. According to Quran, Allah is always merciful to the believers (Momins) and curse-full to the non believers (Kaffirs). Not only that in the same Surah Ar-Rahman, Allah certainly tempted his believers (Muslims) for “[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. (Ayat-54) and “In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni – So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?  (Ayat 56-57). This Surah (chapter) is full of fantasy and un-scientific exposition which was not fitted for the recital in an interfaith ceremony arranged for unity, prosperity and development based upon ancient belief and new scientific exploration.

Thanks to the Arabic language which was not understood by the audience and dignitaries present in the New Parliament House of India in Delhi.  Some dignitaries shook their heads in positive gesture hearing the Quran recital in question, but that was something dangerous otherwise.

You are wrong. Surah 55, Verses 1-28,recited don’t say what you claim.

    1. The Most Beneficent (Allah)!

    2. Has taught the Qur’an.

    3. He created man.

    4. He taught him eloquent speech.

    5. The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses calculated with measured out stages for each.

    6. And the herbs and the trees both prostrate.

    7. And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance.

    8. In order that you may not transgress (due) balance.

    9. And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient.

    10. And the earth He has put for the creatures.

    11. Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks.

    12. And also corn, with leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants.

    13. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    14. He created man from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

    15. And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

    16. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    17. (He is) the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests.
    18. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    19. He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together.

    20. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress.

    21. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    22. Out of them both come out pearl and coral.

    23. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    24. And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains.

    25. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

    26. Whatsoever is on it will perish.

    27. And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.

    28. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny

Thanks for your reply Mr Yogesh Khandke.
Your understanding of Quran is something wrong as you are failed to understand the thumb-rules of Quran based upon the division of Humanity into Momins (believers) and Kaffirs (non-believers). Allah is always beneficent and blissful to the Muslims only and curse-ful and avengers to the non-believers. So all of the points meant in 1-28 Aayats of Surah 55 are obviously for the Muslims and not for Kaffirs. Not only that, the Aayats no. 14, 15, 17 are most ridiculous and unscientific.
Again, repetition of “Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?” in Aayat 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25 & 28 are a caution to the believers and a threat to the non-believers who may deny it for their choice. More, over in the same Surah Ar Rehman, (See Aayat no 54, 56 and 57), Allah certainly tempted his believers (Muslims) for “[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. So, simple reading of Quran can’t point out the real hate and crime in it which inspire the ISIS, Talibans and all the Jihadi monsters worldwide.

In the context of the verses quoted “you” means man and jinn. not momins and kafirs as you allude.

The verses are what we could call a स्तुति of Allah.

There is no mention of “us” and “them”, neither in the 28 verses recited nor in the whole surah.

In my view the verses recited were very non-controversial and aply suitedt for a multi-panthic prayer programme.

Inclusiveness and pluralism is the essence of Hinduness, while.the so called Abhramic faiths are exclusivist and non-plural.

It is in our nature to call all the Gods to bless us in our endeavours.

We called our Gods and also gave the floor to a Christian to invoke Yahweh, a Muslim to invoke Allah’s blessings, a Bahai, a Jew to invoke YHWH, and two Sikhs too.

If you wish to critique the.Quran, there is a lot to say in that direction, but there is a time and place for it, an article on a multi-prayer meeting isn’t. And it should be based on facts should not mis-represent the text.

Also what you attribute to the Quran applies to the Bible and the Jewish scriptures and their Gods too, equally.

Your take Mr. Yogesh Khandke: “If you wish to critique the.Quran, there is a lot to say in that direction, but there is a time and place for it, an article on a multi-prayer meeting isn’t. And it should be based on facts should not mis-represent the text.”

We think the necessity to analyse everything of whole context. The attitude of Islam towards Humanity is always different for Momins and Kaffirs, however apparently different in Makki and Madani phases.

In that context, we consider Surah 55 i.e. Ar Rheman is nothing but a Taqqiya to glorify Allah and Quran in a deceptive way.

Allah is always monstrous to all others who disbelieve him and his last prophet Muhammad and their book, Quran.

We are firm in our understanding and it is not to ‘mis-represent the text’ anyway.

    1. You have misrepresented Chapter 55 verse 1-28. There is no mention of momins and kafirs in those verses as you claim. If one wishes to critique a text one should do it accurately.

    2. “Allah is always monstrous to all others who disbelieve him and his last prophet Muhammad and their book, Quran.” Allah is no different from YHWH and Yahweh. But you are silent on them.

    3. The difference in tone in the Meccan and Medinan verses is well known, however Surah Rahman is a Medinan surah. The word Al Taqiyya is thrown around thoughtlessly. The verses aren’t an example of Al Taqiyya, in my understanding. The surah is a simple praise of Allah a स्तुती. If you disagree provide a reliable source that calls it Al Taqiyya. Secondly I do not find anything anything inappropriate in the verses quoted. Like many others I was curious to know what was said in the Muslim prayer and was relieved that it was well chosen in the sense that there was nothing offensive in the verses recit4d.

    4. It is necessary that sensitive and controversial subjects be dealt with clinical accuracy especially by news sites as their work is bound to be quoted and people who don’t do due diligence to counter check may get into trouble.

      1. The entire Quran was revealed to Muhammed and preached to the people based on division as Momins and Kaffirs. Surah 55. Ar Rehman is not an exception to that.
      2. We reiterate, “Allah is always monstrous to all others who disbelieve him and his last prophet Muhammad and their book, Quran.” The comparison of Allah with YHWH and Yahweh is not a pertinent point of this discussion.
      3. Your take, “The surah is a simple praise of Allah a स्तुती” is nothing but idiocy. We have no idiocy to follow Allah, Quran, or Muhamad, nor we are ready to indulge in a ‘स्तुती’ or praise to that entity that wants to destroy us as kaffir.
      4. We are engaged here on this site to expose Islam as a curse to Humanity. If you have any problem, you can avoid this place with your lame ideas.

As per Quran Including Surha 55 Ar Rahaman, Muslims drive on Jihad and even in the form of Fatwa.

As in the age of Information when Ignorance is Crime, Why we shouldn’t understand what is the Revelation of Islam in The Kerala Story or in The Kashmir Files.

Here is the news of a Maulana who believes in Quran including Surah Ar Rahaman and issued a Fatwa to Kill a Ex-Muslim as he embraced Hinduism!.

Do Muslims really have something comparable with ” Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina” or “Asato Ma Sadgamaya”?

So, the Surah 55 (Ar Rahaman) is nothing but a prayer of Allah by Muslims to get his blessings and favour. The Non-Muslims are not capable to get any favour from Allah until they embrace Islam.

Islam in any form is quite dangerous for Human Civilization.

This is not a place for littering garbage by a pseudo-Hindu or a Half Mulla. With our admissible approach we considered your take to accommodate with proper rebuttal. But your bluntness could not capture those in a right way.

Quran is nothing but a handbook of Jihad. It is the main source of criminality of Muslims in large numbers from which they get inspirations to loot, kill, rape, riot, blast and all other inhumane activities in the name of Islam.

The book Quran contradicts itself in many chapters and tries to make deception. Surah 55- Surah Rahaman falls in this category. So, reading Quran in any ‘All Religions Prayer’ or in ‘Peace Prayer’ is nothing but a violation of the purpose as I think.

The points made by YK here in above is nothing but a misinterpretation of Surah 55 as it is not dealt with the principal theme of Hate inculcated in unholy Quran.
