Stop all illegal Namaj blocking the Street and Roads creating public harassment.

T Raja Singh

‘Police did not do anything wrong’, Hindutvawadi BJP leader T Raja Singh came out in support of the policeman who kicked people offering Namaz in Delhi street causing public harassment.

After this video went viral on social media, people blocked the road in the Indralok area of North Delhi. However, the policeman accused in this case has been suspended.

Manoj Kumar TomarUpendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | March 9, 2024:: Delhi Police has suspended the sub-inspector who kicked some people who were offering namaz on the road in North Delhi’s Indralok area. Now  Hindutvawadi BJP leader T Raja Singh. who is also MLA of Telangana’s Goshamahal constituency, has reacted to this. He wrote on Twitter, “Despite there being 6 lakh mosques across the country, what is the wisdom of offering namaz by blocking roads? My full support is with Delhi Police in this matter. The police have not done anything wrong”.

This incident took place near Indralok metro station at around 2 pm during Friday prayers. In protest against this incident, local people had blocked the road demanding action against the policeman. Its video is also going viral on social media. Congress leader Supriya Shrinet said on this matter, “Is this the motto of Amit Shah’s Delhi Police. Peace Service Justice. Are you working with full dedication?”

The incident led to a protest in Inderlok as the local people blocked the road and demanded action against the cop. DCP North Mk Meena said cops were deployed to maintain the law and order of the area and the locals were told that the cop was suspended. Paramilitary personnel have also been deployed in the area.

Congress leader Imran Pratapgarhi also condemned the incident and said that Delhi Police should register a case against the police officer who kicked the Muslims offering Namaz. He wrote on X, “What is this hatred? This person probably does not understand the principles of humanity.”

But, BJP’s Hindutvawadi leader Tiger Raja Singh came out with his straight attack on the public nuisance created by the Muslim people with their ulterior motives to block the roads and streets in the name of Friday Namaj.  He also supported the harsh act of the Delhi Police personnel who kicked some Muslims offering Namaj on streets without any permission.

DCP North MK Meena confirmed that the policeman Manoj Kumar Tomar seen in the viral video was the police post in-charge and he was suspended with immediate effect. It was said by the DCP that disciplinary action would be taken against that policeman. The DCP said, “Talked to the people protesting in that area. We explained to them that action has been taken against the police.”

Hindu Existence Editor and Hindu interlocutor Upananda Brahmachari urged Delhi Police to stop all such illegal Namaj creating public harassment.

Former Union minister and BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday reacted to the video of a Delhi cop kicking Muslims offering namaz on the street and said the cruelty of a few can’t dent the image of India — India was, is and will always remain heaven (for the minorities). The former minister’s post on X came as he was tagged by a social media user on a photo of the incident that took place in Delhi’s Inderlok.

Namaz on the road is actually a political action – aimed at signifying that the area belongs to Muslims.

Rather than asking them to pray in the mosques, we need to understand that, in the wise words of Meir Kahane, ‘They Must Go’, and take measures to facilitate the reduction of the Muslim population.

No Muslims, no namaz on the road – and furthermore, no mosques and no madrassas as well.
