VHP to Engage Corporate Bodies Nationwide Over Workplace Concerns Involving Hindu Women.

Stop Corporate Jihad, Stop Love Jihad, Stop Conversions in Corporate Sectors: VHP Urges All Concerned.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | New Delhi | April 21, 2026:: In a significant development, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced plans to approach corporate and industry bodies across India, raising concerns about the alleged targeting and victimisation of Hindu women in workplaces. The announcement was made on Tuesday by senior VHP leader Milind Parande during a press conference in Karnataka’s Hassan.

Parande stated that the organisation intends to systematically engage with national industry associations spanning sectors such as IT, manufacturing, and services. “The VHP will ensure that in any workplace—not just IT but across all industries—Hindu women are not targeted or victimised,” he said.

Focus on Workplace Allegations

The VHP leader indicated that the outreach would include raising concerns over alleged incidents described by the organisation as “love jihad”, “conversion jihad” and “corporate jihad” involving huge forced religious conversions. The term “love jihad” is commonly used by most of the right-wing groups to allege a pattern wherein Muslim men purportedly form relationships with Hindu women with the intent of religious conversion—an assertion that remains highly contested and politically sensitive. The concepets of “conversion Jihad” and “corporate jihad” are now also exposed as a big conspiracy against Hindus.

Parande claimed that such incidents reflect a broader pattern of distress within Hindu society. “Hindu society is being targeted and is facing distress. Such tendencies are not acceptable in any civilised society,” he said, while also calling for introspection within the Muslim community regarding what he described as “values being imparted to younger generations.”

He further cautioned that rising allegations of this nature could lead to broader suspicion against the Muslim community, a remark likely to draw criticism from various quarters.

Context: Nashik TCS Case

The VHP’s announcement comes in the backdrop of a controversy involving alleged sexual harassment and unbelievable  religious coercion at the Nashik unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). While investigations and official responses in the matter are ongoing, the incident has been cited by VHP leaders as a trigger for their nationwide initiative.

Not only TCS, Air India & Lenskart too

Beyond the controversy involving TCS, both Air India and Lenskart also faced criticism over alleged restrictions on traditional Hindu symbols such as mangalsutra, sindoor, chooda, and kalawa (sacred wrist threads), with some critics describing such policies as insensitive corporate practices. The backlash saw strong reactions from sections of the Hindu community, who viewed these measures as dismissive of religious expression.

In the case of Air India, authorities reportedly described the issue as stemming from an “outdated” instruction. However, references to the “Air India – Style and Image Handbook Version 1.3” indicate that it was revised as recently as February 14, 2025, and implemented the following day, raising questions among critics about the timeline and intent.

Similarly, Lenskart issued an apology for its earlier style guide and released a revised version on April 18, 2026, allowing the use of bindi, sindoor, and kalawa. Despite this, some groups have continued  #Boycott Lenskart call, arguing that the initial policy of the company reflected a deeper disregard for Hindu sentiments.

The developments have sparked a broader debate around workplace policies, religious expression, and the balance corporate entities must strike in a diverse society, with differing views emerging on whether such incidents point to systemic bias or isolated policy missteps.

Organisational Expansion and Karnataka Focus

Parande noted that his visit to Karnataka is part of a broader nationwide organisational expansion drive. “The aim is to expand the organisational reach. During this visit, certain issues in Karnataka have come to our attention,” he said.

Among these, he highlighted cattle smuggling as a pressing concern in the state. Referring to the cow protection law enacted in Karnataka in 2020, he alleged inadequate enforcement. “Large-scale transportation of cattle is taking place towards neighbouring states. The law is not being implemented strictly,” he claimed.

The VHP has demanded that authorities identify smuggling routes, confiscate vehicles used in repeated offences, and take stringent action against those involved.

Allegations of Bias and Law Enforcement

Parande also alleged a “biased and discriminatory attitude” against pro-Hindu activists, suggesting it creates an impression of an anti-Hindu approach. He called for stricter and impartial enforcement of laws, stating, “The law must be implemented strictly. Who else will enforce it if not the government?”

Responding to questions about reported attacks on cow protection activists, he argued for a broader discussion. “Why is the transportation happening? Thousands of times, laws are being violated. Otherwise, anger in Hindu society will naturally rise,” he said.

Prepared for Agitation

Reiterating the organisation’s stance, Parande said the VHP is prepared to pursue its demands vigorously. “We are ready to face hardships, even imprisonment if necessary,” he added, underlining the group’s commitment to its campaign.

Remarks on Women’s Reservation Bill

Touching upon the Women’s Reservation Bill, Parande attributed delays in its implementation to opposition parties rather than the central government. He expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating they are capable of addressing criticism on the issue.

VHP’s Outrach- A Symbol of Hope

The VHP’s planned outreach to corporate India marks a new dimension in its activism, potentially setting the stage for debates around workplace policies, religious freedoms, and the intersection of social concerns with corporate governance.

As a matter of fact, VHP’s planned outreach as a symbol of hope, asserting that it reflects a broader effort to address concerns and provide a sense of reassurance among sections of Hindu society who feel vulnerable.
