Hindus Caught in the Loopholes of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2026.

B upendran | HENB | New Delhi | Aug 11, 2026:: Though the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, has not yet been passed by Parliament, it has sparked an intense debate. It was introduced in the Lok Sabha on March 25, 2026, and remains under active consideration amid political debate and opposition scrutiny.

While churches and Christian missionary organisations are vehemently opposing the Bill, other stakeholders and critics are also raising various concerns regarding its provisions and implications.

While the Sangh Parivar and the BJP are actively supporting the Bill, former CBI Director M. Nageswara Rao has taken a critical view of it, describing it as false propaganda aimed at harming Hindu interests through deception and political motivation.

In a post on his X handle, Rao shared his views as follows:

FOREIGN CONTRIBUTIONS REGULATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2026: AN APPRAISAL FOR HINDU SOCIETY

In the context of the diversionary hullabaloo by the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi Government in introducing an inconsequential Foreign Contributions Regulation (Amendment) Act 2026, I would like to appraise the Hindu society of the following:

India is not a beggar nation. It is a sovereign, self-reliant nation that completely rejects foreign charity. As the well-known maxim states, “there is no free lunch.” Foreign funding flooded into India’s non-profit and non-commercial sectors is a Trojan horse carrying covert agendas engineered to subvert Indian religious demography, rupture social harmony, and sabotage our economic and technological progress.

Under the deceptive guise of humanitarian or social intervention, these funds, bankrolled by organisations affiliated with foreign governments and hostile non-state actors, are systematically weaponised to convert Hindus, aggressively alter the nation’s demographic character, and colonise the minds of our citizens. Ultimately, these evangelicals and “civil society” activists act as agents promoting the strategic interests of foreign entities over the survival of the Indian people, working overtly and covertly to dismantle Hindu religion and our democratic institutions and hijack our national discourse.

In direct response to these existential threats, since 2018, we, at the Movement for #EqualRightsForHindus, have demanded that the Central Government implement an absolute, unconditional ban on all foreign contributions. Instead of protecting civilisational and national interests, the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi ruling establishment has chosen political posturing over decisive action. Their legislative and administrative manoeuvres are nothing but a deceptive smokescreen designed to fool Hindus while actively facilitating the uninterrupted inflow of foreign funds to the detriment of Hindus and India.

Most alarmingly, foreign interference in Indian political activities has escalated dramatically since 2014 through two deliberate betrayals:

1. Secrecy and Blocking Information: To hide their complicity with the foreign Deep State forces, the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi Government has deliberately stopped publicly sharing the total amount of foreign contributions received annually by organisations in India, hiding the scale of foreign penetration.
2. Retrospective Exemptions: They passed unprecedented retrospective amendments to the #FCRA, allowing political parties to legally pocket foreign funds, a blatant compromise on national sovereignty that previous non-BJP and Congress governments never dared to enact.

When I confronted them directly, top Sangh Parivar functionaries unashamedly admitted that they oppose a total ban simply because their own #Sanghi organisations receive foreign funding. This admission exposes the truth: their sectarian political interests entirely supersede their propagandist claims to the nation. Their actions stand exposed as fundamentally not only anti-Hindu but aggressively anti-national.

Are not the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi the greatest Hindu drohis and traitors?

The deceptive Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2026, will fail to fulfil Hindu aspirations or curb the flow of foreign funds into India allegedly channelled with ulterior motives. Selective restrictions are not the solution to the deeper problem.
