The Muslim Fundamentalists attacked destructed and arsoned more than thirty temples and Hindu shops and houses in Nadirhat-Hathazari Upajila in Chittagong, BD on 9-10 Feb.

Chittagong, Feb 16 (bdnews24.com)—Police have arrested 10 people on charges of vandalising Hindu temples and attacking and injuring the law enforcers in Nandirhat of Chittagong on Feb 9 and 10.

One of the detainees, construction worker Mohammad Jashim, 30, gave a confessional statement at Chittagong’s Judicial Magistrates’ Court.

Hathazari Police Station officer-in-charge Samiul Alam said the detainees, held in an overnight drive, were sent to the jail following an order of the court.

Police appealed to grill them for seven days, he added.

Senior assistant superintendent of Hathazari circle Babul Akter told bdnews24.com that they were shown arrested in five cases filed over vandalising temples and injuring police personnel.

Apart from Jashim, the detainees are Emdad Ullah, 32, Mohammad Lokman, 46, Mohammad Frid, 35, Mohammad Osman, 35, Mohammad Abu Taher, 40, Manzur Alam, 38, Mohammad Shafi, 38, Abdul Karim, 70, and Hajji Mohammad Badsha, 65. 

Tension mounted in Nandirhat on Feb 10 and 11 over a religious programme. Miscreants had vandalised Loknath Sebasram and the temple inside it on Feb 10. A wall of a mosque in the area had also been vandalised the same night.

On the following day, several religious installations were vandalised in Nandirhat and Hathazari Sadar upazila.

A certain quarter instigated the vandalism, police found while interrogating the detainees.

“The incidents in Nandirhat were pre-planned. It has been proved in preliminary investigation that they were conducted to create unrest,” additional superintendent of Chittagong (north) police Nazrul Islam told bdnews24.com.

Input from Rabindra Nath Ghosh, Advocate & Member BDMW ( Bangladesh Minority Watch), Dhaka, BD:  High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh on sue-moto rule passed an order to- day directing the Government to give securities to the minorities of Hathazari -Nondirhat-CTG and for restoration of Temples, shops and houses so far damaged by Islamic zealots during 9th Feb,12 riots belonging to Hindus. BDMW investigated the matter earlier and condemned this sort of atrocities and desecration against religion.

   Who asked those 15 milion Hindus to live & die in that hell? If they have any self respect must cross over en masse to India demand citizenship while permanent refugee status from UN and as compensation land & money from Islamic Bangladesh via UNHCR!    Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Nilfamari, Lalmonirhat, Satkhira, Khulna & Jessore districts of West Bangladesh with maximum Hindu settlement must be included by India within West Bengal & rename this state as Bengal to resettle & rehabilitate the 15 million tortured Bangladeshi Hindus from Islamic Bangladesh in India as per their wish, since 1947 Partition of India and Independence, Bangladesh regularly persecute and pushback Hindus without compensation as refugees to India. UK Parliament report says 98.7% raped in Bangladesh are Hindus – Mass/gang rape has been the weapon of choice because when a girl is raped the family tends to leave for India to avoid its repetition. 200 Hindu women were raped in one night at a single spot in October 2001 Hindu mother and daughter are being raped together so they dare not stay in the country. Even handicapped and 70-year-old women are raped. The minorities represent less than 10% of the population but 98.7% of the rape victims are minorities. The minorities are forced to pay infidel tax.

   So either India & UK (former ruler of Hindu Bangladeshis who left them to rot & die in Islamic Hell) help absorb the 8 West Bangladesh districts along with all 15 million Bangladeshi Hindus within West Bengal state of India as stated above or help form an independent nation for them called Bangabhumi (as those hapless Hindus claim) anywhere in the world like Israel for Jews, preferably in a British Overseas territory like Falkland Islands. Argentina has a dispute with Great Britain on these but for these Hindu refugees both of them may show greatness if UN gives it a try
