HENB | Mumbai | July 30, 2015:: Though the Muslims in India and specially in Maharashtra seen in morose due to the hanging of Yakub Memon, the nabbed perpetrator in 1993 Mumbai Serial Blats, the Hindu families of blast victim hailed Yakub Memon’s hanging, saying it is the victory of law and hoped that fugitive mobster Dawood Ibrahim, Anis Ibrahim and Tiger Memon would meet the same fate on urgent basis. The 90% victims of 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai were Hindus, causing a total killing of 257 and injuring 713 people. The 12 blasts spots were selected in the Hindu prone business and public places by the Pakistan fed Islamist.

A Mathura resident Ashok Chaturvedi (25) was killed in Mumbai following series of blasts on March 12, 1993. The deceased Chaturvedi’s family has all praise for the learned judges of apex court for ultimately providing justice to his family by awarding death sentence to one of the accused of the serial blasts.

“Our family specially my mother virtually broke down after the death of my elder brother Ashok Chaturvedi (25) who was seriously injured in Mumbai blasts on March 12, 1993 near Air India building and succumbed to injuries in Jaslok Hospital on March 17, 1993,” said Deepak, the younger brother of the deceased.

However, this Wednesday has become important in their family as apex court has confirmed death sentence of the main accused Memon, he said.

“It virtually is the victory of law of our country,” he said, adding Dawood should also be nabbed. “My family would be more satisfied if other accused specially Dawood would also be given the same treatment,” he concluded.

Over 22 years after the 1993 Mumbai blasts, Yakub Memon, the sole convict on death row, was hanged on his 53rd birthday on Thursday after failure of last-gasp efforts by his counsels to stall the execution that led the Supreme Court to hear his plea in the wee hours before throwing it out.

Memon, whom the Supreme Court had described as the “driving spirit” behind the worst terror assault till date that left 257 dead and 713 wounded, was hanged at the Nagpur Central Jail shortly before 7am, just about two hours after his last-ditch attempt to gain reprieve came to naught.

But, the other perpetrators like Dawood Ibrahim, Tiger Memon and Anis Ibrahim are still at large and obviously in Pakistan.

Pakistan has violated ceasefire hours after Yakub hanging.

An Army jawan was killed in sniper attack by Pakistan troops who targeted forward posts in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in violation of ceasefire. Sepoy Rachpal Singh was critically injured in sniper fire by Pakistani troops at a forward post in Poonch along the Line of Control last night, a police officer said today.

Singh, who belonged to 22-Sikh unit, later succumbed to his injuries. He was guarding Parvinder post when the incident occurred. This is the third incident of sniper attack by Pakistani troops along the LoC this month. Two BSF jawans were killed in similar incidents along LoC in Kashmir Valley. There were two other incidents of ceasefire violations along LoC in the Valley yesterday.

If we don’t derive any direct connection of this ceasefire violation with Yakub’s hanging, the situations remain critical as the Gurdaspur terror attack on July 27 by LeT modules sent by Pakistan, shows the policy of our neighbouring county in the Western border.

In this context, India should design a new Pakistan Policy including the destruction o all terror camps in POK and Pakistan along with the nabbing the trio Dawood, Anis and Tiger to show them the gallow as soon as possible.

And this is the demand of the peace loving people and the family members of the victims of the Islamic Terror and upsurging Jihad in India.

Why this justice cannot be hurried up. Delay means justice denied.
Make a law to speed up cases. When Supreme Court ruling is achieved – why
mercy appeal to President. This MUST be scrapped?

Do it. Carry out your orders. Get those men into India and try and hang them. And along the Line of Control up north, start bringing a canon to a rifle fight and take the violators out. This is the only thing they understand, as they have not evolved spiritually to understand higher ways of resolving conflicts, and they will not stop going after you until they are put in their place. By willingly firing a shot across your border, they have violated your sovereignty and your rights to be safe in your own lands.

Narendra Modi met PM over national and Gujarat related security issues

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (August 29) met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and made a strong demand for giving assent to a bill to combat terror and organised crime(GUJCOC) in the state. National Security Adviser M K Narayanan was also present in this meeting. Meeting went on for 45 minutes in Prime Minister office.

Modi explained to the Prime Minister that the law similar to the Gujarat Control of Organised Crime Act was already operational in Maharashtra, then why not in Gujarat? Modi harped on the need for “strong laws” to prevent youngsters from falling prey to terrorists who were looking to recruit them for their anti-national activities. Modi said there was a need for border fencing and special training and providing modern equipment to the forces engaged in border security. Modi said he was not interested in playing politics on the issue of terrorism.
“A political will is needed to further strengthen the police force including giving them more legal powers and resources. I requested the Prime Minister to immediately pass Gujarat’s law against organised crime, which has been passed twice by the Assembly, and has been lying with the Centre for the past four years. It is important to understand that this law exists in Maharashtra and if a bomb blast takes place they can use it, but if it happens in Gujarat just 50 km away I don’t have the law. I want to tell those politicians who have their minds filled with vote bank politics that there were terrorist activities even when POTA was in force and that despite having Section 302 (of IPC which gives death penalty for murder) murders do take place. Does this mean we remove this clause? I apprised them about the information revealed by the terrorists arrested for their involvement in the Ahmedabad blasts. There is a need for co-ordination between the Centre and states and also among the states to combat terror. It has come to light that states which are doing well economically are especially being targeted. I requested the Prime Minister to call a meeting of such states and he has agreed to it. I also requested the Prime Minister that since Gujarat is a border and coastal state there is a need to re-look and upgrade its security.I am not here as a BJP leader but as a voice of the Gujarat Assembly which represents 5.5 crore people. We should face terrorism as a united force,” he said, when asked if he felt the BJP-ruled states were being discriminated against by the Centre in the fight against terror. I hope the Prime Minister and the government in Delhi will show political will and take a decision soon” Modi said after his meeting with the Prime Minister.
