Ayodhya Issue to be Resolved by Year End.

HENB | Nashik | January 17, 2016:: Prominent Hindtva Think Tank and Senior BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy today claimed that the issue of construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya will be resolved by end of this year and said he will talk personally to Muslim leaders on the matter.

Dr Swamy was delivering a lecture on ‘Bharat Kal, Aaj and Udya’ (India yesterday, today and tomorrow) on the occasion of the 175th year of ‘Sarvajanik Vachanalaya’ (a public library) here. The library was started in Nashik in 1840.

“The important issue of Ram temple at disputed land of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh will be solved by 2016 end and I will talk personally to the members of muslim community including wakf board and (Asaduddin) Owaisi to explain the issue to them,” he said.

He said a mosque for prayers by Muslim bretheren “could be shifted anywhere, and as per history it was proved that earlier there was a Ram Temple at Ayodhya”.

During his speech, Swamy also attacked late Prime Ministers  Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi.

Criticizing partisan politics, Dr Swamy said on the water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over Cauvery river, that the river linking scheme could solve this problem but both states have kept the issue burning for vote bank politics.

On Pathankot and Pakistani Terrorism

As a hardliner, Dr Swamy said that India should give a befitting reply to Pakistan in the wake of terror attack on Pathankot air base, allegedly carried out by an outfit operating from the neighbouring country. “We should give Pakistan a befitting reply,” he told reporters when asked about the terror strike, said to have been engineered by Jaish-e-Mohammad, on the key Air Force facility in Punjab earlier this month. The former Union Minister supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policy on Pakistan, terming it “proper”.

Swamy criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the violence in Malda district and said Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh should write a letter to her and seek explanation over the issue. Beside delivering a lecture, organised by 175-year-old ‘Sarvajanik Wachanalaya’ (a public library), on the topic “India yesterday, today and tomorrow”, he also interacted with members of Laghu Udyog Bharati, a body of small scale industries and other local entrepreneurs.

Emphasizing the inbuilt character of acceptance and the greatness of Indian culture and heritage, Dr Swamy expressed that India will survive in the power of thousand and thousand years old faith and practices of this soil. The contemporary Jihad, ISIS, Evangelical excesses, hegemony made by the political megalomaniac people will not persist. India will obviously survive in Bharat and Hindusthan and never as any part Islamic State or Vatican Land.

Describing India as emerging top most power and world leader, Dr Swamy said, ‘India will lead the world for peace and prosperity in its own way’.
