“It is regrettable that Ghulam Ali’s music launch has been cancelled by the hotel management. We were told not to keep the event here as they feared that people from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Hindu Sena would disrupt it and destroy hotel property,” Illyasi told reporters.
Police personnel were deployed outside the venue and even detained a few men who were chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. A few of them said they were volunteers of Hindu Sena. The director plans to reschedule the launch but is yet to decide where it will be organised.
“We will surely organise the launch again. I knew such an incident could happen that’s why we had written to Delhi Police and the home ministry to provide us security and I am happy that Indian government and the police did their best. Despite this, the hotel has decided to call off the event.”
Former Samajwadi Party leader and opportunist politician Amar Singh was also not permitted to enter the hotel Royal Plaza on Ashoka Road and was constrained to giving a byte to the media standing on the road. He left immediately after.
Pro Pak Singh said that this country had always played host to Pakistani singers and many of the most popular names in the world of music in India were Muslims, and even hummed lines from songs of late singer Mohammed Rafi. He regretted that the event was not being allowed to take place and missed a chance to meet some good guys and romantic girls.
The music release of ‘Ghar Wapsi’ was cancelled first in January following Shiv Sena’s opposition in Mumbai. Ali, 75, whose several concerts in India had to be cancelled last year following Sena threats, is making his acting debut with the Hindi feature film set to release in June this year.
It is told that besides acting, the singer has also composed and sung an Indian patriotic song for the movie. The film also stars Alok Nath, Farida Jalal, Reema Lagoo, Deepak Tijori and Zarina Wahab. Singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam and Shaan have also lent their voice in the film.
From an input, it is gathered that Hindu Sena and VHP will expand their agitation against Pak Singer Ghulam Ali and any Pak events in India as Pakistan has not stopped their ill designs against India directly or indirectly.
When Shiv Sena, Hindu Sena, VHP, HJS and many other Hindu organisations have been protesting against Pakistani programmes in India and successfully stopped many Pak programmes in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, the Non BJP Govts in WB, UP and Kerala welcomed Ghulam Ali rejecting the Hindu demand, ‘No connection with Pakistan until they change their anti-Indian stand’.

I wish I will get the opportunity one day to tell all Muslims to convert to Hinduism or leave the country.
