Kedarnath in the Court: Boycott this Film set to settle Muslims in Hindu Shrines in Uttarkhand.

While Gujarat High Court dismisses PIL seeking ban on ‘Kedarnath’; Uttarakhand High Court to hear an urgent petition on the release of film hurting Hindu Sentiment.  

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Dehradun | Dec 6, 2018 | 15:31 IST:: Describing it as merely a “publicity stunt” by the petitioner, the Gujarat High Court Wednesday dismissed a PIL seeking a ban on the release of Bollywood film ” Kedarnath” under the banner of RSVP Movies of Ronnie Screwvala.

The film, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput as a Muslim guide and Sara Ali Khan at Kedarnath Shrine, is set to release on December 7.

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice A S Dave and Justice Biren Vaishnav dismissed the PIL that sought a ban on the release of the movie saying that it hurt the “religious sentiments” of Hindus.

Prakash Rajput, president of International Hindu Sena, had filed the plea claiming that the movie hurt the sentiments of Hindus as it featured a Muslim boy falling in love with a Hindu girl mentioning it as a ‘Love Jihad’ trail. The petitioner also objected the love making and kissing scene in the film shoot in a revered Hindu pilgrimage site in a very demeaning manner.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the movie shows a wealthy Hindu girl (Sara Ali Khan) falling in love with a Muslim guide/ponnywalaha (Sushant Singh Rajput) during a tour of Kedarnath in the backdrop of Uttarakhand disaster due huge flood aggression in 2013.

The most ‘secular’ Gujarat HC came down heavily on the petitioner by saying that  the PIL was nothing but a “publicity stunt”. It also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him. The court of law mentioned technical faults in the petition and found no objection in creating ”erotic senses through wet kissing” in a holy shrine like Kedarnath or not in the alleged sequence of a ‘Love Jihad’ made in the film.

But, Uttrakhand High Court accepted  a petition filed by Swami Darshan Bharti as objected the release of the film ‘Kedarnath’.

On Tuesday, a petition was filed in the Uttarakhand HC against Kedarnath. The petition filed accused the film of hurting sentiments of the Hindus.

The PIL filed alleges that the film is an ‘ugly taint’ on the Hindu shrine. The petitioner also alleges that the Lord Kedarnath has also been insulted in the film. The PIL has also claims that there are no Muslim Community in the area but the film shows otherwise.

The allegations made by Swami Darshan Bharati hints a bigger conspiracy to settle the Muslim habitation around Kedarnath under a conspiracy of demographic change of the area and propagation of Love Jihad as to grab Hindu girls under Muslim guys in  reference to film Kedarnath.

“This is a clear conspiracy of settling the Muslims in Kedarnath area of Uttarakhand and propagation of Love Jihad. In 10 years  after, the Muslim new settlers will give reference of the Film for their existence in the land and will tell that Love Jihad is a settled fact in Kedarnath,” Swami Darshan Bharti told HENB.

But, unfortunately, the anti-Hindu Judicial system in India undermines the vilification of Hindu sentiments and faith frequently made in Mumbai Film Industries allowing those by CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).

The eminent Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence Editor, Upananda Brahmachari asked RSVP Movies’ owner Rohinton Soli “Ronnie” Screwvala, whether he will make a film on the married life of prophet Muhammad in the backdrop of Mecca and Madina. Brahmachari also asked whether the Indian Courts will then okey it, if any objections come from the Muslim side.

Brahmachari has already lunched a petition in Change.Org to Postpone the Release of Disputed Film KEDARNATH until CBFC Review it for Proper Action+.

But the petition was removed later by Change.Org for some reasons hitherto unknown. Again a new petition has been started to register Hindu protest against Kedarnath Film. This petition must be signed by the devout Hindus without fail:

Brahmachari also urged to the devout Hindus to protest against the film and boycott it if released.
