Rift in Maha Vikas Aghadi? Shiv Sena backs Modi govt over its stand on ‘tukde-tukde gang’

Shiv Sena backs union government over Tukde Tukde gang in ‘its mouthpiece ‘Saamana’.

Hailing the Hindutva ideas, Sena supported Army Chief General MM Naravane’s remarks on PoK, and said that a govt order to enter PoK, will fulfil Savarkar’s dream of Akhand Bharat. Sena also demanded drastic actions against subversive forces in existence.

Timesnow Digital | Mumbai/New Delhi | Jan 13, 2020:: At a time when its ally in the Mahavikas Aghadi is extending support to the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Shiv Sena has backed the government over its stand against the ‘tukde-tukde‘ gang. In an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, Shiv Sena also said that ‘Akhand Bharat‘ (undivided India) was a dream of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and that those shouting the ‘tukde-tukde‘ slogans should be ‘slapped’ with a map of ‘Akhand Bharat‘.

Welcoming the statements by newly-appointed Army Chief General Manoj Naravane, the editorial said that PM Modi should order the Army to enter PoK and ‘break Pakistan’s spine’.

In an interview on January 11, Naravane had said that PoK belongs to India and that the Army will take appropriate action when it receives orders to that effect. “There is a parliamentary resolution that entire J&K is part of India. If Parliament wants it, then, PoK also should belong to us. When we get orders to that effect, we’ll take appropriate action,” he had said. Sena’s ally Congress, on the other hand, had asked Naravane to talk less and work more.

“Akhand Bharat was a dream of Veer Savarkar” and that an order of such effect, ‘would be an honour of Savarkar’, the editorial said. “The Centre should now punish the tukde-tukde gang,” the Saamana editorial further added.

Shiv Sena’s often-reiterated stand on Savarkar comes at a time when Congress, its ally in Maharashtra, had, in a booklet, alleged that Savarkar had a homosexual relationship with Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse. The booklet, titled Veer Savarkar kitne Veer?, was distributed by Congress Seva Dal in Bhopal.

In what had triggered a massive political war of words, Rahul Gandhi, in response to his remarks on rape, had said that his name was ‘Rahul Gandhi’ and ‘not Rahul Savarkar’.

Who are foolish obviously think that those who are not with RSS or BJP don’t belong to HIndu. That’s why these morons often think thousands of Hindu orgnasations beyond Sangha Parivar are not real Hindu even Pravin Togadia is not a real Hindu. Ridiculous blind faith of many Sanghis and Bhakts.

Yes, you are right. When Shiv Sena stayed with BJP, they were Hindu without any problem. When Shiv Sena questioned the monopoly of BJP and left BJP alliance they suddenly branded as Enemies of Hindus or Non-Hindu etc. What a great idea of BJP!!!!!

I’m sure the Shiv Sainiks are overwhelmingly Hindus – but by associating with the Congress, the Shiv Sena is undermining its credibility, not just with Hindus, but with all non-Muslims, (or more precisely, all non-Sunnis).

Now wisdom is slowly dawning upon ShivSena.A day is not too far for SS to breakaway from Congress alliance and SS will join BJP in the end. Wisdom generally dawns late.
