Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | July 7, 2025:: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a year-long nationwide campaign starting on Vijay Dashami, October 2. The campaign will include a door-to-door outreach program, over one lakh Hindu Sammelans, and 100 training camps across the country.
Speaking to the media at the conclusion of a three-day (4, 5, 6 July, 2025 – Keshav Kunj, Delhi) ) meeting of prant pracharaks (regional campaign organisers), Ambekar said several national issues were discussed, with state units presenting updates.
Key Initiatives:
– Door-to-Door Outreach: A massive door-to-door contact campaign to inform people about the RSS’s activities and positions on key issues.
– Hindu Sammelans: Over one lakh local-level gatherings to promote Hindu unity, address social challenges, and enhance harmony within society.
– Training Camps: 100 training camps nationwide, including 75 for swayamsevaks under 40 and 25 for those aged 40-60, with over 21,800 volunteers participating.
– Seminars and Dialogues: Seminars across 924 districts focusing on themes like Hindutva, nationalism, and the future of Hindu society, as well as special dialogues with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in major cities.
RSS Chief’s Address
– The RSS chief will deliver an address in Nagpur on Vijay Dashami (Oct 2 this year), expected to be closely watched for its message to society.
Inclusive Outreach
– The campaign aims for “samaveshi and sarvasparshi” (inclusive and far-reaching) outreach, taking the message to every corner of the country and every section of society.
Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations)
The RSS’s five key thematic goals, known as Panch Parivartan, will be promoted through the Hindu Sammelans and other initiatives:
– Samajik Samarasata (Social harmony)
– Kutumb Provodhan (Stronger family values and bonding to Nation making)
– Paryavaran Sanrakshan (Sustainable lifestyles through conservation of Nature)
– Swadeshi va Atma Nirvarta (Pride and Self-Reliance in cultural identity)
– Nagrik Kartavya (Civic responsibility)
National Issues
– The RSS has discussed several national issues, including the situation in Manipur and the country’s border areas.
– The organization has also commented on the debate over the inclusion of “secular” and “socialist” in the Constitution’s Preamble, saying the point raised by RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale is valid.
