A sharp New Age Hindutva surfaced in India.

A sharp New Age Hindutva surfaced in India disgracing all organizational inertia and opportunist hegemony.

by Bhupendra Bharati.

Through internet I came to know that one Hindu organization named ” HINDU SAMHATI” is going to hold a big Hindu rally in Kolkata (The Capital center of Eastern India) for celebrating its 2nd foundation anniversary befittingly.

From United Kingdom it is difficult to assess the potency and prospect gained from such rally or the consolidation of Hindu Unity for the next struggle due for Hindu Existence highly questioned in different parts of the world now a days.

For a detailed information of this organization ” HINDU SAMHATI”,  I searched a lot in the Google and other servers and got several interesting threads which can link up various new endevours for boosting up the current Hindu movements in different parts of India, which can be termed as NEW AGE HINDUTVA for a good understanding. With in a very short timings, the trend of  accepting challenges before the common Hindu people as generated by these NEW AGE HINDUTVA  GROUPS are catering new hopes and supports to the struggling Hindus against Muslims, Chiristian, Anti-Hindu Politics and obviously against the dilemma of  conventional Hindu Organisations deep-seated in ‘innovative inertia’.

Any one  must get  a strong inspiration from the announcement for the Big Hindu Rally (Hindu Samhati’s 2nd Anniversary Mega-Event) as published in the website of Hindu Samhati at . It follows as below :

Major Hindu Event in Eastern India by SAMHATI

Hindu Samhati’s 2nd Anniversary Mega Event

14th February, 2010 – 1 PM

Shraddhananda Park, Kolkata, India

A Huge Public Meeting on the Foundation Day

of Hindu Samhati.

Through the sincere support and blessings of the Hindu people Hindu Samahti completes 2 years of its existence. In every direction the workers and supporters of Hindu Samhati are essaying to save the land of West Bengal from the ruthless encroachment of the enemy. Today the Hindu Faith, the honour of Hindu Women, Hindu land and property, security of economy and existence are under a relentless threat from anti India and anti Hindu forces. These diabolical forces want to uproot the Hindu from the land of West Bengal with the active assistance of the political parties and administrative machinery. The backdrop for the creation of a new Pakistan is being readied as Hindus become a minority in block after block. Already 3 Districts and 62 blocks have become Hindu minority. A few others are on the way. After oppressing the Hindus in the Hindu minority areas the thrust is on the Hindu majority areas. Through forcible occupation of land, construction of new masjids, madrassahs and graveyards a nefarious scheme is unfolding to drive out the Hindus from these areas and turn them into a minority. Hindu women are being snatched away from Hindu society be every hook and crook. A ‘green’ blueprint has been created to takeover Hindu trade and economy. Caught in this ‘chakravyuha’ of Muslim aggression, political assistance and administrative apathy the rural Hindu has become a helpless onlooker of his own demise. The need of the hour is protest, resistance and an urgent resolution of this situation.

Let us come and meet in thousands for the 2nd anniversary of the foundation of Hindu Samhati, to vow for Hindu resistance and make this meet a grand success.

From the above  it is evident that this NEW AGE HINDUTVA  GROUP have accepted the direct challenges of anti Hindu forces in the shape of  i) Torture upon Hindus by Muslims,Christians and Political Parties, ii) Grabbing of Hindu Lands, iii) Snatching of Hindu girls from Hindu society, iv) Aggression of Islamic Banking into Indian economy to defuse the Hindu supremacy and v) Procuring cow progeny from Hindu society for slaughtering. If these addressed problems of the Hindu Society can be solved by these NEW AGE HINDUTVA  GROUP, it is a high chance to restore the dynamism again into the Hindutva movement in India.

From the list of dignitaries for the occasion, one can easily understand that these NEW AGE HINDUTVA  GROUPS confirms their winning settlement in the battle-field of Hindutva against the antagonist forces of Islam, Christianity and political appeasements. Accordingly, Swami Pradiptananda ( The top cyclonic Hindu Monk of Eastern India struggling hard to rescue the tortured Hindu minorities in Beldanga and Murshidabad), Promod Mutalik ( The firebrand Hindu Leader stopped nefarious pubs(wine-bar) in Bangalore and Mangalore against spoiling Hindu girls & the Indian culture and charged with morale policing), Tapan Kumar Ghosh ( A Bengali Hindu leader in true sense with immense capability and consistency for a  Hindu re-awakening in Eastern Zone) and other dynamic Hindus leaders from the heartland India in Delhi, UP, Bihar and other provinces. It is a very remarkable aspect of this Hindu Congregation that some prominent Hindu Activist like Babu Suseelan from abroad (USA) reaches India to convey the international solidarity to Hindu Smhati in their 2ND ANNIVERSARY day celebration. Hindu Human Rights Activist like Sunil Deodhar from Mumbai will surely raise the question of on-growing humiliation and persecution upon  Bengali Hindus, in this occasion.

This is a new hope for the Bengali Hindus that two rising Hindu leaders like Swami Pradiptanandaji and Tapan Ghosh can bridge the gap of new generation Hindu minds which feel the absence of a dynamic Hindu Saviours like Swami Pranavananda, Shyma Prasad Mookherjee, Juctice Manmathanath  Mookherjee, N.C. Chattopadhya and a few others . This re-awakening of the New age Hindutva  admits  the chance of  re-union of the saffron robe of the Hindu Monks and the glazing swords of a Hindu Commander to save the thresh-hold Bengali Hindus  going into a peril.

I took the chance to converse a while with Tapan Ghosh, President of Hindu Samhati, but his cell was always busy or out of reach. Perhaps he was on another line or he was on tour in a remote place under the network of New Age Hindutva. Fortunately, I talked to Upananda Brahmachari, one of the Vice Presidents of Hindu Samhati, who confirmed the huge Hindu rally with thousands of Samhati activists and common Hindu supporters, who will pass a resolution on that day to throw out all the anti-Hindu forces from the soil of West Bengal to save the Hindu dignity, Hindu land, Hindu women, Hindu economy and Hindu sentiment (ban on cow-slaughter) from the grip of  anti-Hindu conspiracy. Brhamachari said that no persecutor shall be spared anyway anymore. Hindus will not tolerate any torture upon Hindu society. It is the duty of the Hindus to protect unitedly their Swadharma without any fear.

Actually the New Age Hindutva shapes in a spontaneous basis as it is seen in Amarnath  Shrine Movement in J&K, Swami Laxmanananda Murder in Orrissa, Malegaon Blast Case in Maharashtra, in the movements of Sri Rama Sene of Promod Mutalik or in the movement of Hindu Makkal Katchi of Arjun Sampat and obviously the Hindu Janajagruti Samity in Maharashtra. No big Hindu organisations or any political party do not claim the credit of these movements of  Hindus as spreaded in the course of Hindu spontaneity and splendor. Hindus find new generation Hindu leaders to sharpen their weapons to fight unto last. This is the story of surfacing a New Age Hindutva in India. We should salute the rising sun of  HINDU SAMHATI in the east within this New Age Hindutva.

We Hindus must get united for the Common Cause to preach our Vedic Dharm among men and women of other faiths. Since the grand session of the Second Anniversary is being held in the Shraddhanand Park, a short session on the Shuddhi Movement of Shraddhanand Sanyasi and its dire need today may also be organised on 14 Feb 11 in Calcutta. I shall email a short article on Swami Shraddhanand Ji to be printed and circulated among the Hindu population of West Bengal for enlightenment. Thanks indeed.

We celebrated the Earth Day today by planting additional trees in vacant spaces around our residential areas. Awareness about the planet Earth was created. Men, women and school going children, who happened to be at home because Jesus was crucified this day a little over two millennia ago, and they were enjoying this one-day holiday. This happened to be the Earth Day today, 22 April.
The Atharva Ved has a hymn – BHOOMI MATA PUTRO AHAM PRITHAVYAH –and it means that the planet Earth is our Mother and we the human beings are mother earth’s children. It is the mother who looks after her children for the first few months for feeding, cleaning and protection from hostile elements, and when the children grow up, they look after the ageing mother. Of course, what the Mother Earth is worried about is the continual digging, overdrawing of sub-soil water, building too many bunds over rivers, deforestation on a large scale, illegal mining, hunting of rare species of animals in deep forests and above all nuclear tests by atomic scientists that destroys both flora and fauna.
The hill tribesmen and women and those inhabiting deep forests hymn tunes about their being a part of pristine Nature and their humming and singing is so natural. So is group dancing. It is learnt that the content of folk songs and rhythmic style of dancing where movements are executed so effortlessly entitle the males to have female partners of their choice. The human habitat in the jungle is in tune with the pristine music emanating from rustling of leaves, murmur of rivulet waters, chirping of birds and, of course, roar of tigers in the vicinity. The humans are in harmony with the Nature – be it animals or the rare home-grown vegetables. The front or backyard of the ghotals serve as small plots for vegetable farming. There all bachelors of the tribe do community live and discuss merits or demerits of nubile girls of the said tribe. Life ambles along with perfect peace and mother Earth has no problems to solve.
Human beings take pride in being a part of a civilised society. When being civilised means shunning violence or not causing pain and or inflicting misery on a fellow human being or even on animals or birds and bees, it is fine from all angles. However, when human civilisation means denuding the earth surface of rich forest cover, mining in mountains or carrying out nuclear tests under water in oceans, then problems come up like hydra-headed monsters poised to swallow Man and his creations. This situation beggars solutions and over shadows all worldly achievements of human beings.
Earthquake, Tsunami, deluge or drought, world wars and nuclear accidents are phases of our march to human destruction. Is the human race possessed by a Death-Wish and is voluntarily moving forward on the road of self-destruction. Mankind lived a simple life until World War I when science made a tremendous progress in inventing new and effective weapons that could kill a large number of people in one go. Of course, the concept of nuclear weapons was not known till then but new ways of destruction of the enemy forces in biological and chemical warfare was a distinct possibility. The German scientists had worked on such weapons of mass destruction successfully. On termination of the Second World War, it was a vanquished Germany that had eminent scientists who were taken to America and motivated to design and develop atom bombs. Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan were the worst sufferers of this new atomic warfare. Anyway, the civilised society of human beings had made progress that spelt disaster for fellow human beings in other parts of the globe. Was this the progress that the humans were looking for?
Certainly not. This progress in science meant death and destruction that no one wished for.
The UNO or United Nations Organisation was formed on cessation of hostilities in 1945. The grand idea of this high profile international organisation was to eschew violence in solving mutual problems cropping up among independent nations due to clash of political or economic or cultural interests. It is true that UNO has been able to avert global wars of the magnitude of world wars but it is equally true that the United Nations failed to eliminate shooting wars completely.
The world body has come up with numerous agreements to save the natural wealth of the world that all human beings could share in future. If the natural wealth of Mother Earth has been of little use to the present generation, it should still be saved, protected and preserved for our children and children’s children. If a vast majority of human beings start taking interest in preserving and protecting the natural wealth of Planet Earth, the wanton destruction of hills and dales, forests and agricultural lands, water resources and oil reserves will be stopped and may be abandoned. Thus the natural wealth placed by God in the hands of humans for the welfare of Mankind will be preserved and used judiciously. Indeed that will be some sort of victory of a civilised society over the barbarian instinct of causing death and destruction. It is the saner element among mankind who is convinced that wars do not solve problems of human beings but only aggravate them. So, why not sit around a table and talk out the knotty problem. No one will vote for a war. Everyone will vote for Peace. The United Nations Organisation is precisely meant for that.
Notwithstanding the existence of UNO, member nations possess and maintain large standing armies to defend their country. Of course, UNO will prevent a local skirmish from developing into a war but a nation needs its own defence forces to ward off the initial onslaught of the invading nation. Wars cause a lot of death and destruction as well as damage to Mother Earth. The warring nations may be urged by the world peace outfit to save mother Earth from damage beyond repairs. After all, all of us have to have our habitat on Earth till we colonise Moon and have more elbow room for all human beings.
Security means making of modern weapon system and that means establishing factories that cause pollution and destruction of natural resources. A sense of security brings in prosperity of material wealth but it also means loss of morality and lapse of honesty in dealing with fellow human beings. Therefore, it is for leaders of the civil society to strike a happy balance and see that man makes material progress for prosperity without debasing loftiness of human nature. Above all, Man must continue to entertain the lofty ideal of having harmony between Mother Earth and her children who are all human beings.

AAJ AADHI JEET HUI HAI, POORY JEET KE LIYE SANGHARSH JAARI RAHEGA, so said Anna Hazare at the Ramlila Maidan, Delhi after the Union Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh met him on the rostrum and handed over a letter from Prime Minister of India informing of the acceptance of the three main issues by both houses of Parliament today. The unprecedented crowd there burst into jubilation when Anna Hazare announced that he would break his protest fast on Sunday, 28 Aug 11 at 10 AM. The common man has been invited to be a part of the celebration when the leader of the masses breaks his fast of 12 days plus.
In the last 12 days that Anna has been on fast, the Government of India and some of its ministers like P.Chidambaram and Kapil Sibbal opposed tooth and nail Anna Hazare and his idea of a movement by the civil society to eradicate corruption. The 74 year old simple but determined veteran army soldier hailing from Ralegan Siddhi village in Maharashtra was even denied a place in vast Delhi where he could sit for a protest fast. The Delhi Police controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs used every dirty trick to ensure that the simple Maratha drawing inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was left high and dry without any support in the national capital. He was arrested from his residence before he could sit on ANSHAN along with his supporters at the Jai Prakash Narayan park on the plea that section 144 Cr.P.C. had been promulgated there. Indeed it was an illegal arrest because Anna Hazare had not violated the law by then. To complete the harassment of a peaceful citizen, the Gandhian protester was sent to Tihar jail along with his colleagues of the civil society.
The citizens felt outraged. The TV cameras presented to the nation what high handedness the UPA government was doing and how the government was violating the basic human rights of peaceful protesters. People took to streets, raised slogans against the prevailing corruption and electrified the mind of common man. The sensible ministers read the writing on the wall and it is believed that on the intervention of the Prime Minister, all charges against Anna Hazare and his colleagues of the civil society were dropped and he was informed that he was a free man. Now it was Anna’s turn to pay the govt in its own coins. He refused to walk out of the jail until all restrictions on his holding the protest fast were removed and a suitable place was earmarked for it. Eventually, after a hard bargaining, the Ramlila Maidan was allotted for the protest fast and silly restrictions removed.
Thereafter the ex-soldier who drove heavy army trucks for 12 years and came under the enemy fire sat in the driving seat. The dirty tricks department threw many googlies but he batted well.
When the ministers of Manmohan govt had exhausted their dirty tricks, the Congress party took over the task of spoiling Anna’s image as a crusader for a cause. A young M.P. and party spokesman, Manish Tewari briefed the national press that Anna Hazare was an army deserter. Could an army deserter be loyal to the nation or the country, Tewari asked? But the barbed arrow boomranged on the Congress party as the Indian Army issued a press statement that Anna Hazare was not a deserter but was given an honourable discharge after completion of normal service. The Army even listed the medals awarded to the soldier-driver both in peace and war.
Same Manish Tewary burnt his fingers badly when in an angry and sarcastic voice he briefed the press addrwessing Anna in absentia “tum kis munh se bhrashtachar ka virodh kar rahe ho, tum swyam bhrashtachar mein sar se pair tak lipt ho”? The legal inquiry that he referred to was ultimately found to have discharged Anna Hazare as no personal involvement of his was found.
Another spokesman, Rashid Alwi sarcastically suggested to the press that he civil society movement of Anna Hazare was conceived of and supported by USA. The US govt denied any hand in the movement. Possibly a section of the Congress party was embarrassing the Prime Minister by mentioning USA as the PM is seen close to that country.
A suggestion was made by the same ill-natured politicians that Anna’s Aandolan was backed by the jobless misguided youth who were drunkards. The youth did support Anna in large numbers but they were all not in love with the booze. Admittedly some unruly elements did come to Ramlila Maidan to drink and make mischief but they were singled out and asked to leave the sacrosanct soil of mass movement to eradicate corruption.
Some ministers of the Manmohan cabinet consider themselves close to Sonia Gandhi, the Congress president. They were dead opposed to holding any talks or negotiations with Team Anna. Those ministers looked to 10 Janpath for orders and support. Unfortunately for them, the occupant of that address was out of the country for a major surgery and was not available for guidance. However, many a time when the Govt ministers and Team Anna were on the verge of reaching an agreement, some ministers sabotaged it from within. Anna Hazare is made of sterner stuff and he remained steadfast to his protest fast. The team of doctors were indeed worried about Anna’s health after he crossed Day ten without a morsel of cereal or fruit or any form of solid entering into his stomach. The alarm bell did ring and doctors planned hospitalisation in case the medical condition deteriorated further but the soldier-fighter was determined to fight on. He did fight on and won laurels as stated heretofore.
The Parliament played a positive role and found a way out to satisfy aspirations of the civil society and yet remain within parameters of the constitution of India. Both the houses sat in session even on a Saturday to resolve the ticklish issue. And they succeeded.
The Bhartiya Janata Party and the Congress Party cooperated with each other to save the life of Anna Hazare, a brave son of India
Both the houses of Parliament witnessed good debating skills of Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley but none from the treasury benches except Pranab da, leader of the house. Many a time it appeared that negotiations were coming to a nought but senior leaders like Advani Ji, Prime Minister himself intervened to save the day. Speaker Meira Kumar sat smiling and reminding the unruly elements to maintain decorum by saying BAITH JAIYE BAITH JAIYE.
Rahul Gandhi put in an appearance, a rare event, during the zero hour and made a ten-minute speech that was objected to by the BJP benches. The scion read out from a prepared paper and that is not permitted under the rules of the Lok Sabha. But the Speaker did not forbid it for reasons known to her. Instead of helping solve the tangle, Rahul threw a red herring by saying that the Lokpal should be a constitutional post and not only statutory. Perhaps he wanted to shelve the issue for the present to avoid unnecessary problems that might crop up later about the wealth of their extended family. He rallied those who did not wish Anna well but eventually their strategy did not stand the test of the time. Common man opined that Rahul Gandhi undid what good work the Prime Minister had done the previous day.
The solution hammered out by all concerned was to incorporate the three points sent by Anna in the recommendations to be forwarded by the houses to the standing committee. The ticklish points comprised:
    1. Inclusion of lower bureaucracy in the ambit of Lokpal
    2. Citizens’Charter for all govt depts. And their observance to be under the jurisdiction of Lokpal.
    3. Estblishing Lok Ayukt in states on the lines of Lokpal at the centre.
It was the bonhomie prevailing in the house that enabled the inclusion of these points before sending the recommendations forward.
The media, specially the TV channels, played a major role in keeping the common man informed and maintain pressure on the government to listen to the recommendations of the civil society. TIMES NOW stole the show by informing and entertaining the viewers. AAJTAK and ZEE NEWS were head and shoulders above others in their coverage from the Sansad to the Ramlila Maidan and doing good political commentaries.
Bollywood came out in full force to support Anna Hazare. Sonu Nigam sang songs and moved the crowd emotionally with his rendering of RANG DE BASANTI CHOLA. Aamir Khan came over to express his solidarity with Anna Hazare and sang a song from Lagaan that went well with the crowd.
The youth was well represented at ground Zero all along. Professionals like lawyers, doctors, teachers came over from far and wide. There was even a serving civil judge from the Tees Hazari courts. Many retired army officers, police officers, and some serving senior officers came over to express their support for and solidarity with Anna Hazare.
Anna Hazare thanked one and all for the support given to him. He especially thanked men, women and youth who stood the vagaries of nature but did not move out of the Ramlila Maidan. He was especially happy that the Movement of Civil Society remained non-violent and AHIMSA was the mantra for them.
The common man and the civil society have to remain awake so that the Jan Lokpal bill eventually becomes law. If the activists go to sleep, the govt will go into coma. Even after the Jan Lokpal comes into existence, corruption has to be eradicated by the common man. No one should ask for a bribe and none should be offered by none. There are other areas awaiting reform like the electoral reforms, bringing the black money of Indians back from foreign banks to the Indian banks and so on.
Anna Hazare and the crowd raised slogans of patriotism VANDE MATARAM AND BHARAT MATA KI JAI time and again. Under the influence of pseudo-secular policies of a govt the slogan with which the war of independence was fought, the Quit India movement was made a people’s movement, Vande Mataram had almost faded into oblivion. Even on 15 August ceremony at the Red Fort every year, Vande Mataram is just not sung because Nehru onwards no Prime Minister encouraged it. Anna Hazare revived the national spirit by asking the crowd to accompany him in raising the patriotic slogan,VANDE MATARAM.
