  • Demonstrations held at Jantar-Mantar, New Delhi demanding Bangla Deshi Hindus be given citizenship

  • Hindus have to stage agitations for their just demands even in BJP Government. When the actual ‘Acche Din/ good days’ will come?

By Special Correspondent | New Delhi | 29 July 2014::  On Saturday, 26th July, an Rights forum called ‘Sara Assam Bangali Jateeya Parishad (SABJP)’ staged demonstrations at Jantar-Mantar, New Delhi, the place of demonstration in Indian capital,  demanding citizenship for Hindus who have come from Bangla Desh. Later, representation was submitted in the name of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and BJP’s national President, Amit Shah. Shri Sudhendu Talukdar of SABJP, Shri. Pradip Muzumdar, Vice President of ‘Kaali Mandir Samiti’, Dr. Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, its Shri Vinay Panwalkar and other Bengali Hindu activists, who had come from Assam, participated in the demonstrations. Shri. Talukdar said, “Narendra Modi had promised before elections that Bangla Deshi Hindus would be given Indian citizenship after his coming to power; but he seems to have forgotten about it. He should keep his promise.”

The programme came into surface as a joint effort of Sara Assam Bangali Jateeya Parishad (SABJP), Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Delhi Kaali Mandir Samiti, Rashtriyee Hindu Andolan (RHA) and Hindu Existence Forum.

Bengali Hindus came to India from Bangladesh to get rid off religious atrocities, must be given Indian citizenship: Sudhendu Mohan Talukdar, Advisor, SABJP.

In his speech Shri Talukdar said: More than On Crore Hindus have taken refuge by running away from the clutches of fanatics of Bangladesh (Erstwhile East Pakistan) at the time of partition of India in 1947 and at the time of Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.   The atrocities and persecution on minority Hindus in Bangladesh is tremendous. Time to time Hindu minorities compelled to take refuge in Bharat under compulsion. However, if they are sent back to Bangladesh, it would be very similar to sending cows back to butchers that have been rescued from their clutches ! Will BJP Government understand this grave issue ?

In 2007, Congress State Government of Assam has detained some suspicious persons amongst Hindus and Muslims; on the basis of an order issued by the State Government and Hindus, who have come here from Bangladesh few decades ago, are treated with bias and repression. Release of such Hindus also made as one of the demands during the agitation. Sri Talukdar demanded reasonable and respectable status of Hindus came from Bangladesh as equal citizen of India, keeping them out of the list of ‘D’ (doubtful) voters list.

Talukdar praised the role of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti as a key organisation for making continuous efforts to fortify the integrity of the National and helping all small nationalist forums to get their right and natural justice in all possible ways.

Government will be responsible for ‘Dharma-kranti’ ! – Dr. Charudatta Pingale, National Guide, HJS.

Dr. Charudatta Pingale said while guiding demonstrators, “The rulers are responsible for this condition. A king who cannot recognize loyal citizens, who does not know who are the true sons of the soil, is unrighteous. In such situation, unity is the only solution forgetting own language, region and caste etc. We should proclaim that ‘Hindu is our only identity’. If the rulers do not take any action, Hindus will have to get ready for ‘Dharma-kranti’ and the Government will be responsible for outcome of such ‘Dharma-kranti’.”

It is very unfortunate to keep loyal citizens deprived of  citizenship ! – Shri Pradeep Muzumdar, Patron, SABJP.

Shri Pradeep Muzumdar said, “People, who strived to get freedom for the country, are deprived of getting citizenship which is very unfortunate. The agitation will be intensified in future, if no action is taken by the Government.”

MEMORANDUM GIVEN TO SHRI NARENDRA MODI, PM, BHARAT.

Hindu minorities are being brutally attacked in Bangladesh after Quader Molla’s hanging.

Posted by hinduexistence on December 13, 2013

War Criminal – Butcher of Mirpur, Abdul Quader Molla hanged to death. Gross violence in Bangladesh leading to a civil war. Helpless Hindu minorities are being attacked in many places.

Quader Molla hangedUpananda Brahmachari | Kolkata | Dec 13, 2013:: Jamaat-Shibir men and its Islamist allies resorted to vandalism, arson and attacks on cops and the opponent groups including Hindu minorities in different places of the country leaving at least seven dead soon after the Supreme Court cleared the way for executing war criminal Abdul Quader Molla who was executed finally on Thursday at dot 10-01 pm BST at Dhaka Central jail.

Abdul Quader Molla was know as Mirpurer Kasai (Butcher of Mirpur). As per source he killed 3 times much Muslim than Hindus at the time of BD Struggle for Independence as reported. Kader was a dangerous Jamatee and Rajakar as well. These people supported Pakistan and opposed BD liberation.

On May 28, last year, the tribunal framed six charges that include: the killing of Mirpur Bangla College student Pallab; the killing of the poet Meherunesa, her mother and two brothers; the killing of journalist Khandker Abu Taleb; a mass killing in Ghatarchar of Keraniganj; the killing of 344 people in Alubdi village in Mirpur; and the killing of Hazrat Ali Laskar, his wife, three daughters and two-year-old son.

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 found Molla guilty on five charges and acquitted him on one charge related to the Ghatarchar killing, and sentenced him to life imprisonment. But the Supreme Court found him guilty on all charges and awarded him death for killing Hazrat Laskar and his family members.

Reuters reported that the authority of “Bangladesh executed Islamist opposition leader Abdul Quader Molla on Thursday for war crimes he committed in 1971, in a move likely to spark more violent protests less than a month before elections are due to be held.

Molla was hanged at Dhaka Central Jail after a dramatic week. He won a reprieve on Tuesday hours before he was sent to the gallows.

After two days of  legal argument, the Supreme Court rejected his application for a review of the death penalty.”

War criminal Quader didn’t wince once, neither did his heart skip a beat when he led his men to thrash a two-year-old child to death and slit the throats of a pregnant woman and two minor girls in the whirlwind in 1971.

Around 42 years later, Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Molla finally had to pay for these acts of cold-blooded savagery, as he walked the gallows at 10:01pm in the first-ever execution in a war crimes case.

The bad news coming from Bangladesh. The execution of Quader Molla triggered the deadly violence in Bangladesh in a very wide range. Dhaka, Satkhira, Coxbazar, Khulna, Comilla, Chittagong, Noakhali are the most affected areas where the peaceful and apolitical minority Hindus are being attacked under the repercussion of hanging of Quader Molla.

Quader Molla hanged. BD minorities attacked again.

As reported in Kalaer Kantha (a Bengali daily newspaper), the Hindu minorities in Khuruskul Hindu village in Coxbazar were attacked after the news of Quader’s execution spread in the air. After 10-30 pm of Thursday, the Jammat activist  attacked the house of some relatives of  Swapan Pal in Palpara. The armed Jammati perpetrators ransacked at 10 houses and shops in Palpara and Timebazar. The attackers looted the shops and set fire in households. Dadul Das, the president of Coxbazar Hindu Festival Committee (Hindu Puja Udjaapan Samity) conveyed the insecurity of the resident minority Hindus under an Islamic threat perception increasing day by day.

In a separate reporting the a reporter of Kalaer Kantha  reported the attack on minority Hindus in Jugipara in Satkhira as an aftermath of Quader Molla’s hanging on Thrusday. The Jamaat activists attacked the Hindu minority citizen and put fire in four Hindu houses. The perpetrators blocked the roads by putting huge trunks of road-side trees to put hurdles to rescue operation by police and RAB (rapid action battalion).

The situations in Bangladesh is rapidly changing in the face of an apprehended civil war in Bangladesh. The Jamaat-e-Islami of Bangladesh announced that it would hold a gayebana janaza for its assistant secretary general, war criminal Abdul Quader Mollah, today and enforce a countrywide shutdown on Sunday.

The turmoil in Bangladesh sparks tension in neighbouring West Bengal too.

The Kolkata police have sounded a high alert after the hanging of Jamaat-e-Islami leaser Abdul Quader Molla in Dhaka Central Jail.

The city has witnessed many protest demonstrations in the past few months against the Bangladesh war crimes trials.

Organisations like the West Bengal Minority Youth Federation have spearheaded these protests, even submitting memorandum to the Bangladesh deputy High Commission in city’s Bangabandhu Sarani (previously Circus Avenue) to stop the trials.

Kolkata has a strong population of Urdu-speaking Muslims, many of whom fled Bangladesh after it was born during the 1971 Liberation War against Pakistani forces.

Jamaat enjoys considerable support among them.

Kolkata police commissioner Surojit Kar Purkayastha is said to have asked for heightened security at the Bangladesh deputy high commission.

The deputy high commission in Kolkata  is housed in a historic building where Bengali diplomats revolted against Pakistan and set up the first diplomatic outpost of the provisional government of Bangladesh in exile.

Quader

Other areas with high concentration of Urdu-speaking Muslims like Park Circus, Metizbruz, Gardenrich, Tiljala, Taltola and Rajabazar have been identified for intense security, police officials said.

The intensifying political crisis in Bangladesh  with the ensuing elections there is producing  sectarian violence  and the attacks on minorities. Meanwhile, the court cancels the registration of Jamaat-e-Islami which is no more eligible to participate in the vote . Many a Jamaat leaders are awaiting in the  death-row for their conviction in war crimes. The situations will go grim further with the head counts.

The Union Home Ministry  in India apprehends a  sabotage in India  as a retaliation of Jammat for their set back in Bangladesh.  In a very revealing report from Intelligence source, it  is told that the exiled Jammatis are trying a ‘Hindu killing field mission’ by making juvenile suicide squad. Out of  a workable plan,  Bangladesh Jamaat operators will make  inroads in West Bengal using this region as a transit zone.

To prevent the cross border terrorism,  militant infiltration and Muslim influx in  India from Bangladesh, BSF has to tighten surveillance in West Bengal-Bangladesh border. As per report,  Jamaat-e-Islam has a networking among 108 Islamic outfits covering Afghan Council, Council of the Islamic Revolution , the Islamic Jihad Group , Awakening of Muslim People, Indian Mujaheddin, Rohingya Islamic Front. Some of these organizations have their secret organization to make an Islamic state in India.

Some Muslim organisations like Popular Front of India, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen, All India United Democratic Front, Jammat-e-Islami-Hind expressed their softness to the War criminals of Bangladesh as they were all the Sahaba (Lieutenant)  of Islam. Many of these organisations are covertly connected with their Bangladeshi counterparts to accomplish a Jihad in India en route west Bengal.

In this critical juncture of post Quader hanging in Bangladesh, the pro-Hindu organisations in India and the International Hindu Community must raise their voice to stop attack on minority Hindus in Bangladesh and the total restrain of Jehadi activities in India, especially in the  porous International border areas of West Bengal and Bangladesh.

The hanging of Quader Molla is the easiest prey for the supporters of Jamat-BNP fundamentals for attacking minority Hindus in Bangladesh. As per reports of Bangladesh media, Hindus are being attacked ruthlessly in many places. If Bangladesh may enter into a havoc civil war again, the  minority  Hindus will be the gross victim. But, Indian media, particularly Bengali media of Kolkata will be busy with the minority rights in India.

Indeed, it is a hard time for the minority Hindu-Buddhist-Christians in Bangladesh. We have to share their persecution to protect them.

As a matter of fact, the Rally set to be nullified to avoid any displeasure the fundamentalist Muslims here in West Bengal. Hence, the ruling party, Trinamool Congress (TMC) put all hurdles to obtain the permission from police. Therefore, under a culpable instruction from the TMC leaders, Bangaon police refused to give the necessary permission to hold our rally.

However, Hindu Samhati activists were ready to face any consequences only to show  solidarity with victimized minority brothers and sisters of Bangladesh.

Dying Hindus in Bangladesh: A concern of US, not of India. What a shame!

Posted by hinduexistence on November 7, 2013

Attack upon Hindus in BangladeshBD Persecution on Hindu Minorities

While US is deeply concerned with the attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, a blind Indian Govt. is worthlessly keeping silence.

US Embassy of Dhaka urges to stop Attack on Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh

Statement from the U.S. Embassy Dhaka: Urges to stop Attack on Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh.

Upananda Brahmachari | Dhaka | 07 Nov 2013:: The United States expressed deep concern over the recent attacks on Hindus in Pabna and Lalmonirhat and asked the government to take action against the criminals and protect rights of minorities.

In a statement released on Wednesday, 6th Nov, the US embassy said, “We call on all those involved in these incidents to desist from abusing the rights of minorities, and ask all parties to ensure they are stopped immediately and the perpetrators are held accountable.”

“We ask the Government of Bangladesh to act authoritatively against those who incited and committed this violence and protect the rights of minorities.” – the statement ascertained the crucial intimidation on the marginal Hindu minorities about to flee from Bangladesh to find a safer place in Bharat.

The US embassy further said they were also “deeply concerned by the deaths, injuries, and ongoing violence associated with hartals.”

“While engaging in peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic right, we firmly believe violence is never the answer,” the statement added.

“We call on all parties to ensure that their protests are peaceful and we look to the Government of Bangladesh to ensure the safety of all its citizens and encourage all Bangladeshis to peacefully express their views,” said the statement.

While the US Govt. is deeply concerned with the attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, a blind Indian Govt. is worthlessly keeping silence. They have many issues like CHOGM, coming elections, Communal Violence Bill, minority rights in India, but they never make out some seconds to think over the fatal fate of the Hindu minorities of Bangladesh or their rights truncated out.

The post pronouncement (from the beginning of the death sentence ordered to  1971 war criminal Delwar Hossian Sayeedi to the 152 soldiers for mutiny crimes in 2009) conflicts between the ruling Awami League and the opposition lead by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), always tormented the fate of the decreasing Hindu minorities in Bangladesh in a regular basis.

Hindu properties are always in the direct target of BNP-Jamaat or Awami League in disguise

Hindu properties are always in the direct target of BNP-Jamaat or Awami League in disguise.

Though the ‘Jamaat-BNP men’ were allegedly accused for all the major attacks upon the Hindu minorities in recent, the so-called friends of Hindus and ruling Awami League has been completely failure to give any safe guards to the persecuted Hindus in Pabna or Lalmonirhat.

On 3rd Nov, a Muslim mob, frenzied by a baseless claim that a Hindu boy disrespected Prophet Muhammad, tore apart the corrugated iron sheet walls of a Hindu house at Bonogram in Santhia of Pabna Upazila, in order to vandalize the Hindu house hold and to spread fear among the Hindu minorities.  The fanatic Muslim  claimed one Rajib Saha, son Babul Saha had maligned Prophet Mohammad in a facebook page.

A mob went on the rampage in Bonogram-Santhia Hindu- dominated neighbourhood  following reports that the boy from the minority Hindu community had committed blasphemy, prompting the country’s High Court to order arrest of attackers within 24 hours.

The Muslim mob satiated themselves by vandalizing 26 houses, damaging several idols in temples and private houses and and forcing about 150 families to flee the area. The incident prompted the High Court to take suo motu cognizance, asking the Inspector General of Police to ensure the arrest of the culprits within 24 hours and deployment of adequate police forces in the area to protect the minorities. “We have arrested nine of the perpetrators of the attack in the past two days and are looking for the others,” officer in-charge of the local police station Rezaul Karim told Indian News Agency, PTI.

Rajib Saha is a class-X student of Bonogram Miapur High School, preparing for SSC examination and his father, Babul  has  a shop  in the Bonogram Bazaar.

Attack and Atrocities upon Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh are all time high.

Attack and Atrocities upon Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh are all time high.

Soon, hundreds of people stormed Babul Saha’s house in Bonogram. Unable to find the boy, the mob got hold of Babul and took him to the bazaar. There, he was warned that he and his son would be tried for “defaming the prophet”.

Despite protesting repeatedly that his son was innocent, Babul was mercilessly hit and kicked upon. At one stage, some locals intervened to save him and confined him to a shop.

In the meanwhile, another gang of Jamaat e Islami and BNP, more aggressive and violent, set fire to Babul’s house. Later, more gangs joined in to attack the predominantly Hindu village and vandalized about 26 homesteads.

Police and RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) reached  to the spot after the fundamentalists completed their Islamic duties  to the Hindu kaffirs as prescribed in the unholy parts of Quran.

The Daily Star, a leading news paper in Bangladesh has found that the Facebook page whose photocopies were used to incite the attacks on the Bonogram Hindu community has no links with Rajib. [Details here.]

Basudev Dhar reports in Dainik Statesman that the attack on Saha family of Bonogram is nothing but a planned conspiracy which was hatched out of a denial of paying a ransom of Rupees Two lakhs as claimed by some Muslim hooligans at the time the marriage of his daughter some months back. As Babul Saha, a rich businessman of Bonogram Market denied to pay that unreasonable amount, the perpetrators threatened him for a dire consequences. Consequently, the attack on Saha family came to them and others during the hartal hegemony.

Actually, the BNP-Jamaat supported Muslim perpetrators and even the communal elements in others parties regularly collect the life-saving tax (read Jizya) from the Hindu minorities under severe pressure and persecution.

On 4th Nov 2013, at least 15 people, including six women, were injured when some BNP men stormed a Hindu village and vandalized and looted houses at Satpatki Majhipara under Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila.

Villagers complained that they came under attack as they refused to pay an extortion demand by the BNP men.

Traumatized by the violent attack, Hindu women and children of 125 families fled the village and took refuge in Muslim neighbours’ houses at a nearby village, said Jamir Uddin, officer-in-charge at Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station.

But, it has been reported that extradited Hindu victims in their new refuge again face humiliation, molestation, taxation, persecution and all morbid situations.

Armed with sharp local weapons, a gang of about 18 BNP men, led by local Chhatra Dal activist Shaon Islam, struck the village around 12:30pm. They ransacked about 40 houses and looted valuables from those, said witnesses.

The Daily Star reporter covered the incident from ground level while villagers took an injured Hindu man to hospital at Satpatki Majhipara in Lalmonirhat. Villagers claimed that armed BNP and Jamaat men attacked 40 homes of the Hindus and looted valuables after the Hindus refused to be extorted by them. [Details here.]

Basudev Dhar, the Senior Correspondent of Dainik Statesman, Dhaka desk informed that the BNP-Jamaat activists were forcefully collecting money as the expenditure of the hartal. As the Hindus were not ready to give the same, the angry Jamaat-BNP activists plan fully victimized the minority people there.

In the last week, 18 shops of Hindus torched in Lalmonirhat amidst the hartal, turned as an easy prey to to attack minority Hindus of Bangladesh.

Opposition activists allegedly torched and looted at least 18 shops owned by people of Hindu people in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat early Monday on 28th Oct.

While leaving, the attackers whom the victims identified as “BNP-Jamaat activists” also threatened the shop owners with dire consequences if they disclose their names to police.

Locals said there were at least 50 shops in Shafinagar Bazar but the attackers torched and looted only the shops owned by the people of Hindu community.

A victim told  that a group of BNP and Jamaat men entered the market and set fire to the shops without any provocation. “Some of them were wearing black masks,” he said.

But the man declined to disclose names of the attackers fearing further attacks. Sohrab Hossain, officer-in-charge of Patgram Police Station said he heard about the incident but could not send any force there due to shortage of police members.

Sanjay Dutt, general secretary of Bawra union unit of ruling Awami League, blamed BNP and Jamaat activists for torching the shops. But, Shamsul Alam, president of Bawra union unit of BNP, however denied the allegation.

One view of procession before Human Chain programme , organized by Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance on 8th Nov 2013 at Dhaka against the Hindu oppression in Bangladesh.

It has been reported that on the same day of 28th Oct, in Narinda area of Old Dhaka, the Bhagyakul Mistanna Bhandar (Sweets shop of a Hindu owner), near Gaudiya Math was rampaged and partially looted by the supporters on BNP-Jamaat activists, while a rally was passing there in support of hartal.

In a protest of Pabna and Lalmonirhat attack on Hindu Minorities, the Bangladesh Hindu-Bauddha-Christian Oikya Parishad (BHBCOP) and Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad (BPUP) organized a human chain, demonstration and press meet at National Press Club, Dhaka on Tuesday, 5th Nov.

The leadership of BHBCOP and BPUP alleged that the Hindus have been victimized since 1975 on the basis on fanatic propaganda of Islam and communal politics of BNP-Jammat, as a result of which a huge numbers of Hindu minorities were compelled to leave Bangladesh. All the parties more or less ignored the interest of Hindus and other minorities of Bangladesh.

The leadership pointed out that all parties are same including ruling Awami League.  At the time of mishap and tragedy of the Hindus in Pabna, the Minister of State, Home Department, Mr. Shamsul Islam Tuku was present at the distance of 15 minutes from the place of occurrence. But, he did not reach there to help or rescue the victimized Hindus and his police reached there after 3 hours later. The attitude of all the political parties are really embarrassing to the existing Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.

In this demonstration before National Press Club, Prof. Nimchandra Bhowmik, Advocate Rana Dasgupta, Advocate Subrota Choudhury, Kajal Debnath and Basudev Dhar delivered their lectures and demanded a free and fair Bangladesh without any discrimination upon the minorities there.

But, it is very much astonishing that the mysterious Hindus Parliamentarians of Bangladesh have never expressed their views publicly over the atrocities upon Hindu people there. There are seven Hindu MPs in Bangladesh, 3 from BNP and  4 from Awami League.

Lists of Hindu MPs of Bangladesh are given below. The readers should knock them.

To keep the protests alive and effective against the atrocities, abominations and attacks upon minority Hindus, the Bangladesh National Grand Hindu Alliance will organize a big agitation on Friday, 8th November at 10 a.m. before the National Press Club, Dhaka. Simultaneously, the Bangladesh Hindu-Baudhha-Christian Kalyan Front will organize Protest Meeting all over Bangladesh  from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, 9th Nov.

In a press release, Advocate Gautam Chakroborty of  BD HBC Kalyan Front conveyed that whenever a political crisis happens in the country, only the Hindu , Buddhist and Christian  temple, shrines and worship places are attacked by Muslim fanatics. They want to create a communal division in the country.

The statement condemned the attacks upon Budhhists and Hindus in  Ramu , Ukhiya , Teknaf  and Patiya in recent past one after another, burning of the traditional temple and scriptural books, attack upon business, households, temples and lives of Hindus in Santhia in Pabna district and physical assault, arson on  Hindu community houses of Bonogram recently and the havoc upon Hindus of Lalmonirhat. It’s really sad . The organisation demanded the punishment for perpetrators found guilty through judicial investigation.

From a reliable source it is known that the Central Govt of India has alerted the Border Security Force (BSF)  in the eastern sector to check any apprehended exodus or infiltration as a result of the recent turmoil ongoing in Bangladesh.

Pure Islamic Fire in Bangladesh

NOT ONLY IN BANGLADESH, PROSCRIBE BLASPHEMY LAW ALL OVER THE WORLD. THIS WORLD IS NOT FOR MUSLIMS ONLY.

Press Note. The radical Islamic force of Bangladesh in the new name of Hifazat-e-Islam with the crude fundamental support of Hizbut-e-Tahirir and Jaamat-e-Islami have launched an war in Bangladesh to introduce Blashphemy Law there. These fanatic Muslim organisations want to 100% shariah law in Bangladesh to give an energy to Talibanize  Bangladesh and to save the life of a sentenced to death War Criminal, Delwar Hossain Sayeedi and would be sentenced others from Razakar and Islamist groups. Bangladesh, an absurd offshoot of the situation of so called secular country with a 90 percent Muslim population and a state religion of Islam, has seen a surge in violence between Islamists and government forces since the start of the year, when a court began handing down war crimes verdicts (hanging order for War Criminal Delwar Hossain Sayeedi) related to the 1971 independence conflict and the demand of introducing blasphemy law in Bangladesh. IN THIS WAY THE MUSLIMS ARE FIGHTING TOOTH AND NAIL BETWEEN MUSLIMS WITHIN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES TO DESTROY THE PEACE OF OTHERS. ACTUALLY ISLAM IS A BULLSHIT OF PROFANED BARBARISM. SAY NOT TO RADICAL ISLAM AND BLASPHEMY LAW.  RADICAL ISLAM AND BLASPHEMY LAW CAN MAKE A GRAVE YARD OF ALL FREE THINKING AND PEACE LOVING SOCIETY. ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE, BUT SURLY A RELIGION OF PIECE. SEE THIS SITUATION IN BANGLADESH AT PRESENT AND FEEL THE REALITY.
We apprehend an upcoming onslaught upon the  minorities (mainly Hindu-Buddhist-Christian) of Bangladesh. Minorities of Bangladesh are the soft target of the Islamist. We must save the Minorities of Bangladesh. Upananda Brahmachari. Kolkata. 6 April 2013.

32 dead as police clash with Bangladesh Islamists over blasphemy law.

War Field of Dhaka. Islamists vs BD PoliceAFP |  6 May 2013 | DHAKA: Bangladeshi police broke up a protest by tens of thousands of religious hardliners and shut down an Islamist television station Monday after 32 people died in some of the fiercest street violence for decades.

Hundreds more people were reported injured in running battles as riot police broke up the rally near a key commercial district in a pre-dawn raid.

Dozens of demonstrators were also arrested, while the leader of the protests was put on a plane to the second city Chittagong.

Hundreds of bankers, insurance officials and stock market traders had to sleep in their offices as the sound of gunfire echoed around the Motijheel Commercial Area through much of the night.

Shops and vehicles were set alight while the roads were littered with rocks that protestors had thrown at police, witnesses said.

Police said they used sound grenades, water cannon, tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse at least 70,000 Islamists who were camped at Motijheel as part of a push for a new blasphemy law.

“We were forced to act after they unlawfully continued their gathering at Motijheel. They attacked us with bricks, stones, rods and bamboo sticks,” Dhaka police spokesman Masudur Rahman said.

The protesters dispersed early Monday, he added.

Mozammel Haq, a police inspector at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said that 11 bodies were brought to the clinic, including a policeman who had been hacked in the head with machetes.

A total of 21 other people were killed in the protests, according to an AFP toll compiled through police and medical officials.

This included eight people killed in the Kanchpur district on the southeastern outskirts of Dhaka, said the sources.

At least two people were known to have been killed in the southern coastal district of Bagerhat where police exchanged gunfire with several thousand Islamists, police spokesman Shah Alam told AFP.

A pro-Islamist television channel which broadcast live footage of the raid on Motijheel was meanwhile forced off the air in a dawn raid.

Diganta Television’s chief reporter M. Kamruzzaman said around 25 plain-clothed policemen and an official from the broadcast commission had entered their studios without warning.

The violence erupted Sunday afternoon after police tried to disperse tens of thousands of Islamists who had blocked major highways in Dhaka.

The protests had been instigated by Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi, the leader of Hefajat-e-Islam who is said to be around 90 years old.

Police managed to persuade Shafi on Monday to leave his madrassa in Dhaka, escorting him to the airport from where he was to be flown to Chittagong.

In a sign of their desire to avoid inflaming tensions, police insisted he had not been arrested but was leaving of his own volition.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ruled out a new blasphemy law, insisting she will not cave into the demands of hardliners who have been infuriated by bloggers whom they accuse of insulting the Prophet Mohammed.

Chanting “One point, One demand: Atheists must be hanged”, activists from Hefajat-e-Islam marched along at least six highways on Sunday, effectively cutting Dhaka off from the rest of the country.

Police said the number of protesters reached around 200,000 people at one point although the numbers had dwindled by the early hours.

Social media networks were inundated with photos of bloodied Islamists lying on the streets after the crackdown.

The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party, which had given its backing to Hefajat’s Dhaka blockade, on Monday accused the government of “killing hundreds of people and concealing the bodies” but gave no proof.

Fearing further violence, Dhaka police Monday banned all protests as well as the carrying of firearms until midnight.

Bangladesh, an officially secular country with a 90 percent Muslim population, has seen a surge in violence between Islamists and government forces since the start of the year, when a court began handing down war crimes verdicts related to the 1971 independence conflict.

Three leading Islamists have so far been convicted for their role in mass killings during the conflict, which saw what was then East Pakistan break from the regime in Islamabad.

The overall death toll in violence between religious hardliners and the police since January now stands at around 150.

BD HINDUS RALLY IN WHITE HOUSE

Barack Obama asked to protect Hindus in Bangladesh. Hindus Rally in front of White House to stop persecution upon minorities.

Hindu Rally in front of White HouseMitra Chandra | Washington | 11 April 2013 :: Today on The Bangladesh Hindu – Buddhist – Christian Unity Council’s USA Chapter has given a memorandum to stop the Persecution upon Bangladesh Minorities to the White House authorities at the end of an street agitation here to  draw the kind attention of Barrack Hussein Obama, the President of USA on Thrusday  in Washington DC.

In this protest rally, the members of Sarbojanin Puja Udjapon Samity, Shri Krishna Bhaktasangha, United Hindu Parishad, Sanatan Sangha,  Harinama Sankirtanasagha, some other Organisations and Hindu activists gathered to join the agitation coming from different corners of USA, viz.  New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut,  Massachusetts, Delaware  Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina  and Georgia.

Protesting against the rise in violence against minorities in Bangladesh, Hindus of Bangladeshi-origin have gathered outside the White House here, asking US President Barack Obama to protect them and enlist radical Jamat-e-Islami as a foreign terrorist group. After the pronouncement of War Criminal Sayedee’s hanging order as  a post Shabagh effect, Hindus-Buddhists in Bangladesh have been thrown into  a new fire place of Islamic torture.

Raising slogans like “We do not want Talibanisation of Bangladesh” and “Save Hindus”, Bangladeshi American Hindus in a memorandum asked Obama to save the religious minorities of Bangladesh and enlist “Jamat-e-Islami, Bangladesh” as a foreign terrorist organisation.

“We are urging everyone to be united in outrage and by humanity and do all you can to save the endangered minorities of Bangladesh,” the memorandum said as the protestors demanded enactment of hate crime laws by the Bangladeshi Government.

They also demanded establishment of a monitoring cell with prosecutorial authority to monitor, prevent, and prosecute all communal incidents; and creation of a minority welfare ministry with authority to create a special police force drawn from the minority populace. The peaceful protest rally was organized by the supported Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, with support from various other organizations like Hindu American Foundation and the Indian American Intellectual Forum.

“Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, USA is calling upon the civilized world to come to the protection of these innocent and peaceful people who have committed no other wrongs than belonging to faiths other than what the terrorists would choose for them. They can count on no one and go nowhere,” the statement said.

In the memorandum handed over to the President of US, it is mentioned that in the history of 42 years old Bangladesh, thousands of temples were vandalized,  wealth of minorities were looted, women and children were  raped, but not any thing could be  trialed before Court of Law to give them Justice. It is also told that over 1 crore minority people of Bangladesh, maximum of them are Hindus, were compelled to leave their Motherland in an unbearable situations have been being created by the Islamist perpetrators of any colour any party.

The organizers of the rally also demanded introduction of  Hate Crime Law in Bangladesh along with establishment of  Minority Watch, Welfare and Protection Cell and Judiciary Investigation Committee for giving punishment to the persecutors upon minorities in Bangladesh.  The memorandum has also demanded a special session and hearing in the US Congress to verify the injustice and persecution upon Bangladeshi Hindus, Buddhists and other minorities.

Gutless Hindu MPs in Bangladesh. Plight of Bangladeshi Hindus as We are Guilty.

Posted by hinduexistence on March 28, 2013

Look at ourselves to find Culprits for the Ethnic Cleansing of Hindus in Bangladesh.

Dr. Richard L. Benkin

Dr Richard L. Benkin speaking in a public forum

Dr Richard L. Benkin speaking in a public forum.

If my recent trip to South Asia taught me anything, it is that the solution to stopping the ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Bangladesh lies within us.  And so do the obstacles.  This is a serious human rights travesty that has been flying under the world’s radar for at least 40 years as Hindus went from almost a fifth of the new nation of Bangladesh (1971) to less than eight percent today.  Throughout that period, there has been a torrent of confirmed and specifically anti-Hindu atrocities that have proceeded with the tacit approval of successive governments representing all political stripes in Bangladesh.  According to Professor Sachi Dastidar of the State University of New York, the number of Hindus murdered, forced to emigrate, and forced to convert to Islam, or never born as a direct result come to 50 million.  That is a third of Bangladesh’s current population, which shows how that country is as much Hindu as Muslim—or would be were it not for this creeping jihad.

Bangladesh still has the world’s third largest Hindu population with about 12 million Hindus living without protection from radicals and others who can attack and abuse them with impunity because the government they helped vote into office turns a blind eye toward their victimization.  And yet, what major media outlets report this ongoing ethnic cleansing?  What internationally hailed human rights organizations champion a fight against it—or even mention it in any significant way?  That the answer to both questions is “none” does not mean they all are anti-Hindu or funded by of petro dollars.

As Ceasar said in William Shakespeare’s play, “The fault dear Brutus is not in the stars but in ourselves.”

On February 18, I was in Bangladesh where I embraced Hindu victims and confronted their victimizers, stood with their defenders Hindu and Muslim, and confronted Bangladeshi officials participating in and allowing these atrocities.  I had also spent a great deal of time with Advocate Rabindra Ghosh, who puts his own well-being aside to fight to stop the atrocities.

That night, I arrived at my hotel to find two Hindu Members of Parliament (MPs), waiting to speak with me.  They came expecting well-wishes, photo-ops, and hand-wringing about how bad others are.  But they represent Dinajpur and Khulna, two areas in Bangladesh where anti-Hindus abuse is a way of life, where the Awami League government continues its predecessors’ practice of purposely turning a blind eye to this “quiet case of ethnic cleansing,” and where these government officials who say they represent the Bangladeshi Hindu community sit silently while their co-religionists are slaughtered.  Having freshly returned from one of them where I met victim after victim, I was in no mood for their sort of false solidarity.  So, after a brief introduction, I asked, “Okay, tell me what you—as Hindu MPs—are doing about the ethnic cleansing of your people here.”

“We have done many things. “  Answered the man from Khulna where fresh atrocities are occurring even while I am writing this.

“Many things?  You know that’s [a lie],” I replied sharply.  “Hindus in your district are being raped and killed, their land snatched, Mandirs destroyed; and no prosecutions.  So, don’t tell me that you’re doing ‘many things.’  How many Hindu Members of Parliament are there?”

             “Seventeen.”

..“Seventeen?  That’s a lot of people; and you mean to tell me that with that many in parliament, you still haven’t done anything?”

             “Well, the party—“

“That’s your other mistake, and I tried to tell this to Hindus before the last election.  Minorities need to form their own political party.  Right now, the Awami League doesn’t have to do anything.  They know you’ll vote for them anyway.  And the BNP doesn’t have to do anything because they know you won’t vote for them.”

PIC_3916 (2)

Dr. Benkin with victimized Hindus in a Protest Rally in Bangladesh.

And I went on for some time, peppering them, demanding, egging them on, etc.  I told them that they should be ashamed that I come half way around the world while they do nothing here for their own people.  Pointing to Rabindra Ghosh, I said that “he has extensive evidence that there are Members of Parliament involved big time in grabbing Hindu land, even rapes and other atrocities.  You know what your enemies think of you as you sit next to them smiling?  ‘We can steal their land, rape their daughters and sisters, and just give them a few Taka.”

Someone started to say something about there being problems.  “Problems?  Problems?  I don’t want to hear about problems,” I said.  “You think I don’t have problems?  Or that he [Rabindra Ghosh] has none? ‘Problems’ are just an excuse for not doing what’s right.”

They sat either with their face buried in their hands (people in the lobby were beginning to take notice) or looked up at the ceiling; but I would not let up.  For years, we have been struggling against a system and a government that wants to keep the issue buried while keeping the destruction of Bangladesh’s Hindus going strong.  People like these two men are in a position to do something about it but do not.

I reminded them that an American Christian, former US Congressman Bob Dold raised the issue of the Bangladeshi Hindus on the floor of the US House, while they remain silent.  Referring again to Rabindra Ghosh, I noted that “this man has extensive, direct, and verified evidence of enough atrocities so that each Hindu MP can begin each session of the Jatiya Sangsad (Bangladeshi parliament) by reading a new one in the record.  Perhaps they can be the agents who force the government to act or the world to take notice.”

Right now, however, they refuse to acknowledge their responsibility to act.  And while they sit silently and watch their people being brutalized, organizations like Struggle for Hindu Existence under the leadership of Upananda Brhmachari, is providing a public forum to do what they are not:  exposing the truth of what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh so that people will act to stop the atrocities.

It has been more than a month since our encounter, and none of Bangladesh’s 17 Hindu MPs have taken any action or uttered a word of protest even while the atrocities continue and their constituents suffer.  If these “leaders” are too cowardly to act, perhaps the voters in their districts should vote for people who are not.

Iconoclast Jihad in Bangladesh: Most of the Hindu Temples are about to destroy by Jamaat-e-Islami.

Posted by hinduexistence on March 23, 2013

Jihad of Iconoclasts

Thousand of Hindu Temples vandalized Islamically. Most of the Hindu Temples are about to destroy in rural & urban Bangladesh by Jamaat-e-Islami under an  Iconoclast Jihad.

PLIGHT OF BD HINDUS IN PROTHOM ALO NEWS PAPERUpananda Brahmachari | Dhaka | 23-24 March 2013:: The post Shahbag experiences for Bangladeshi Hindus are dreadful than ever. Death sentence to BD Liberation War Criminal Delwar Hossain Sayedee by International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh has put the last nail to the coffin of the Hindu future in Bangladesh.

With the land grabbing from Hindus, looting Hindu property and wealth, raping – molesting Hindu women and minor girls, torching Hindu houses, instilling terror to the hearts of minority Hindus of Bangladesh, a new Jihad of Iconoclasts is seen obviously to uproot the Hindu culture and tradition from Bangladesh through rampant destruction of Hindu Temples, Ashrams and Mutths in rural and urban Bangladesh.

In everyday news papers in Bangladesh, the news of torching Hindu Temples, desecration of Hindu holy places, breaking of Hindu deities, looting temple wealth are being published as a common feature, but the news of arresting the Muslim perpetrators are absent anyway. The Jamaat-e-Islami  of Bangladesh are conducting this type of nasty Jihad of Iconoclasts only to end up the Hindu rituals and faith from the soil of Bangladesh. The Islamists in Bangladesh have taken a vow to ‘Kaffir free- Hinduless Bangladesh’ before Sayedee is hanged unto death.

As per report published in The Daily Star, Religious bigots vandalised five more Hindu temples and torched idols in Bogra and Bagerhat just on 19th March.

‘In Bogra, they damaged at least eight idols in four temples at Sonaray and Rameshwarpur unions of Gabtoli upazila.

In the morning, locals found the idols in the temples vandalised.

Shishir Karmakar of Rameshwarpur said local Hindus were worried about the attacks.

Bogra deputy commissioner, police super, local AL leaders and minority community leaders visited the affected temples. The Hindus did not disclose the names of the attackers for lack of security, AH Azam Khan, president of Gabtoli upazila unit Awami League, told The Daily Star.

Bangladeshe Hinduder Upar Atyachar

Two cases were filed with Gabtoli Police Station in this connection.

Incensed at the attacks on temples, locals in Sonaray and Rameshwarpur unions brought out protest processions.

Contacted, Gabtoli Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Monira Sultana said financial support would be provided to the authorities of the affected temples to repair the damaged temples.

A correspondent from Bagerhat adds : Religious fanatics damaged and torched several idols of Dakkhin Para Sarbojonin Durga Mandir in Uttar Gopalpur village under Kachua upazila early yesterday.

Quoting witnesses, president of the temple committee Pulin Bihari Paik said a gang of fanatics entered the temple around 4:00am; damaged several idols and set the temple afire.

Seeing the flames at the temple, locals rushed to the scene and doused the fire.

Neither the temple committee nor police could identify the attackers.

Kachua UNO Md Ashraful Islam visited the temple in the morning.

Meanwhile, around 120 people were sued in Khulna city on Tuesday night on charges of vandalising and torching temples, shops and houses of Hindus in Banikpara Pabla area under Daulatpur Police Station, reports our Khulna correspondent.

Police also picked up five people in this connection from different parts of the city around midnight Tuesday.

The detainees are Shahidul, 23, Limon, 18, Halim, 22, Shahabuddin, 40, and Shamim, 25.

Tilok Goswami, general secretary of Banikpara Pabla Sarbojonin Kalibari Mandir committee, filed the case, said Daulatpur police.

Earlier, police had arrested Humayun Kabir, 26, and Arman, 28, in connection with the arson attacks. The two were sent to jail through a local court.

On Monday night (18 March 2013), religious bigots ransacked and torched Banikpara Pabla Sarbojonin Kalibari Mandir, Gachtala Temple and over 50 houses and shops of Hindus in the city.

Over 31 temples, hundreds of houses and shops of Hindu minorities have been ransacked, torched and looted across the country since the International Crimes Tribunal-1 on February 28 sentenced Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee to death for committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971′.

As illustrated by the correspondent in The Daily Star about the fresh attack upon Hindus and Hindu Temples, it goes further.

Yet again religious fanatics have attacked temples, houses and shops of Hindus in four districts as reported in The Daily Star on 22 March 2013.

Gazipur Lakshi Mandir Vandalized by Muslims in BD

‘Since Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee was handed down a death sentence in a war crimes case on February 28, more than 26 temples, 175 houses and dozens of shops of the minorities across the country have been vandalised, torched and looted.

Basudev Dhar, president of Greater Dhaka Puja Committee, yesterday aid these communal attacks were demoralising many Hindu families.

“The worst pain for the victims comes when they are left alone after such attacks,” he said. “The leaders and members of parliament have not stood by the Hindus the way they should have.”

“In the past,” he added, “we have resisted such attacks together.”

In Khulna, over 150 people equipped with iron rods and other lethal weapons attacked Banikpara Pabla Sarbojonin Kalibari Mandir around 9:00pm Monday.

When the rioters stormed the temple, some devotees already had gathered there for prayers. The assault left a person named Khokon injured.

The rioters also attacked Gachtala temple. Over 50 Hindu homes and shops adjacent to the two temples were vandalised and torched.

According to locals, law enforcers did not come on time to prevent the attacks.

Khulna Puja Udjapon Parishad held a protest rally in front of Banikpara Pabla Temple yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two people, Humayun Kabir, 26, and Arman, 18, in this connection, said ASI Anwar Hossain of Daulatpur Police Station. The identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

In Netrakona, rioters vandalised Hari Mandir in Bobahala village under sadar upazila, damaging seven idols.

Temple priest Mithun Chand, said, “I returned home around 11:00pm [Monday] keeping the Mandir under lock and key.
“The next morning, I found the temple vandalised.”

The victims, including a freedom fighter and three women, were admitted to Hatibandha upazila health complex.

Police said a gang of 10 went to the house of freedom fighter Amulya Chandra Roy, 62, around 9:00pm and started beating him indiscriminately, reported our Chapainawabganj correspondent.

As family members and neighbours went to his rescue, they too were beaten up. The attackers fled the scene quickly. None of the victims or community leaders would say anything about the attackers.

Speaking in return for anonymity, some locals said the neighbourhood is surrounded by Jamaat strongholds and that Jamaat-Shibir men might have a hand in the attack.

Abu Bakkar Siddique Shyamol, an aide to State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Motahar Hossain, who is also the local lawmaker, said the anti-Liberation forces might have been behind the attack to create panic among the Hindus.

The local unit of the Awami League would bear the medical expenses of those injured, he added.

Gazipur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Fouzia Rahman has visited the spot.

SM Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Joydevpur Police Station, said they were looking into the matter’.

The reports are never-ending in nature, but the Secular intellectuals in Bharat (India) and specially in West Bengal do not care for the plight of Bangladeshi Hindus anyway, but they are so vocal to exercise the Minority Rights (Read Muslim Rights) in everywhere in West Bengal and throughout India.

Whenever, such intellectual maroons see these reports, they claim these as concocted. For their kind information, it is authenticated that the above materials are taken from pure Bangladeshi source of reputed news papers and very few incidents actually got chance to be reported in the broad day light.

Buddhist people and Buddhist shrines and Temples are not scared from this Islamic Attack on minorities in Bangladesh in recent times.

A reputed Bengali newspaper in Bangladesh, ‘Prothom Alo‘ has published the horrible account of  the torture upon the minority Hindus in the pot Shahbag period. The accounts include the attack upon 319 Hindu temples, Hindu house-holds and shops. This  reflection of the plight of BD Hindus in newspaper is more than true  though partial.

As per source in Bangladesh, so far thousand small, medium and big temples in Bangladesh has been desecrated, torched, looted and vandalized including the pleasurable and pious Islamic game of  destroying  Hindu Gods and Goddesses in temples and Hindu homes. This is also a part of Jihad. You can call it a ‘Jihad of Iconoclasts’.

Hindu minorities are at the dire receiving end in Bangladesh. The exodus of Hindus to India is continuing.

Upananda Brahmachari | Kolkata | 8 March 2013:: Telling a lie does not come under any fine or tax.  On Saturday last (2nd March 2013),  the West Bengal government denied that there has not been any exodus from Bangladesh to West Bengal following violence in the neighboring country over a top Jamaat-e-Islami leader being sentenced to death for crimes against humanity during the 1971 liberation war. “We have no such report,” Home Secretary Basudeb Banerjee told PTI when asked if there was an exodus from Bangladesh. “Security arrangements have been strengthened along the border,” he said on the measures that the state government has suggested to the BSF. In Malda, the BSF has been asked to intensify patrolling along the border. Top BSF officials said that the border outposts have been alerted all along and till now there was no report of any influx from either side. Some of the worst trouble spots in Bangladesh were said to be located quite close to the West Bengal borders and round the clock vigil was mounted. The news hooked up in the prime media coverage.

But, the reality in West Bengal borders and sudden increase of pilgrimage from Bangladesh in the holy places, shrines, monasteries tell another thing.

Not only that,  BJP Rajya Sabha MP Chandan Mitra, who accompanied President Pranab Muherjee on his recent Dhaka trip, said the situation in Bangladesh “is pretty tense”.

Mitra said that “Hindu minorities are at the receiving end in Bangladesh” in the current communal clashes in Bangladesh run by Jamaat e Islami of Bangladesh.

The violence against minorities is “aimed at driving out the Hindus who are concentrated in a few districts where the Jamaat is also concentrated.. The exodus of Hindus to India is continuing,” said Mitra.

The Jamaat is protesting the death sentence handed over to a leader for war crimes committed in 1971.

Mitra said India has “certain moral responsibilities as they have to be mindful of their security.. And if another exodus takes place (like during the 1971 war), we will have to provide shelter,” he said, adding that the Jamaat is like the Taliban in nature. “It has risen from strength to strength and consolidated its position.” So, the new series of Hindu exodus from Bangladesh after recent Islamic violence by Jammat e Islami, has been started afresh.

Actually, hundreds of Hindus have been attacked, their shops and businesses burnt and women threatened by the Jamaat-e-Islami in the current spate of violence unleashed by the Islamists in neighboring Bangladesh, as it is focused  in a discussion forum held in New Delhi.

“Hindus, who number more than one crore in Bangladesh, live in fear and agony… They don’t have anyone to help them,” said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay at a discussion on ‘Bangla Desh-Shahbagh Rising, Jamaat-e-Islami’s violence and the Indian response’.

The protests at Shahbag transcend religion, he said.

“They are an assertion that we are all Bengali Bangladesh is a friendly country, and Sheikh Hasina (prime minister) is a friend (of India).. But it is horrendous and unacceptable that thousands of Hindu homes are being burnt, looted and police are unable to provide protection,” said Vijay.

“The Jamaat is acting on behalf of Pakistan and the ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) and against India,” he alleged.

As a result, as far as 1600 Hindu families from Noakhali and Chattagram has reached to Bharat with or without passport only to stay here until the position in Bangladesh is made stabilized. Major portion of these families are visiting holy places in West Bengal and staying in the different Dharmashalas, different branches of Hindu Ashrams and in the houses of relatives or in rented houses.  The poorer Hindu refugees in this phase are also seeking the job of daily labourers  or anything to be a means of survive.

Most of these Hindu uprooted families from Bangladesh  are mainly halting in Kakdwip, Basanti areas in South 24 Parganas. Barasat, Banga in North 24 Parganas and Ranaghat, Tehatta areas in Nadia and Cooch Behar and Dakshin Dinaj Pur and Jalpaiguri in North Bengal. Some of these people are now in disguise of patient or pilgrims. Some of these Hindu refugees from Bangladesh uprooted by the Jamaatis, are now contemplating to venture in far states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh or Maharashtra.

The Islamists in Bangladesh are trying to make a Hindu-less Bangladesh. Minority Hindus of Bangladesh are compelled to flee away from there to here in Bharat. Still Govt. of India is  saying ‘No Exodus yet’.  Though different Hindu organisations in India protesting the tremendous tortures upon Bangladesh Hindus,  Govt in India is not ready to accept the truth of exodus or to extend any help to the tortured and uprooted Hindu refugees from Bangladesh. What a tragedy for the Hindus in Bangladesh.

Global reaction against the brutal assault on Bangladesh Hindu Minorities by Jamaat e Islami after the pronouncement of execution of BD war criminal Sayedee.

Upananda Brahmachari | Dhaka | Sunday 3 March 2013 :: The Rights organisations in Bangladesh and abroad are now contemplating a bigger fight  against the recurring atrocities upon the Bangladesh Minorities, especially upon Hindu Minorities in recent days after the pronouncement of execution of BD war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayedee by Special Bangladesh Tribunal named as “International Crimes Tribunal” (ICT).

Sayedee was convicted for the severe charges as accused of working with the Al-Badr and Rajakar group during the independence struggle and carrying out numerous atrocities, including forcibly converting Hindus to Islam. Sayedee formed some  small groups to loot and seize the property of Bengali Hindus and those who supported and participated in Liberation of Bangladesh.

The tribunal found Sayeede guilty of eight out of the 20 charges levelled against him. These were murder, torture, rape and forcibly converting Hindus to Islam.

Getting disappointed and being arrogant with the ‘hang to death’ order for Sayedee, the fundamental Islamic force led by Jamaat e Islam of Bangladesh lashed out a political confrontation with the opponents and wrecked a havoc upon the Hindu Minorities in a most unreasonable retaliation.

On Friday, the UN Gen Secy, Mr. Ban Ki Moon has also conveyed his peace message for the BD Govt and Jammatis both  to maintain the harmony for Bangladesh people and requested to resist the ongoing violence to protect the rights of minorities there. In an UN Press release, Mr. Ban Ki Moon urged BD Govt and the confronting Jamaati to stop the violence immediately, in order to avoid any fatal consequence in further extension.

As per report, the Bangladesh Hindu-Bauddha-Christian Unity Council (BHBCUC) of US chapter called a press conference on Saturday (2nd March) at a venue of Jackson Heights in New York.

While the Council has already conveyed the detailed atrocities upon the Hindu Minorities in Noakhali and Chattagram in US External Affairs Department, UN Human Rights Council, Human Rights Watch and Amensty International, the body of BHBCUC has planned to organize  Human Chains at Diversity Plaza on Monday (3rd March) and at the office of UN on 10th March in New York City.

The British High Commissioner in Dhaka, Mr. Robert Gibson expressed his deep  concern and resentment upon the attack upon the religious places and the recent attacks in BD in a press conference on Sunday 3rd March held in Dhaka.

The Bangladesh Hindu Buddha Christian Oikya Parishad formed a human chain in Chattagram Saturday  to protest what they called ‘heinous attacks’ by Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir on the country’s minority communities in the wake of the death verdict for Jamaat leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee.

Dhaka Protest Rally – Black March – BNHGA.

On saturday,  in front of Dahaka National Press Club, a mammoth Human Chain, Black March and Protest Rally were conducted by  Hindu Buddha Christian Oikya Parishad, Bangladesh Jatiyo Hindu Mahajot (Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance – BNHGA), Bangladesh Puja Udjapon Porishad, Bangladesh Sevashram Foundation, ISKCON, Motijhil Thana Sarbojanin Puja Committee and others to raise an united voice to end the victimization of Hindu Minorities as and when the fundamentalists determine to relish on.

In a press statement, it is categorically said that ” We are in a very critical crisis period, when a matter of Justice towards the settlement of anti-liberation crime has been vitiated in a communal texture. A heinous torture, murder, loot, assault,  destruction of temples are rampantly done in an utter communal method to extinct the Hindu community in Bangladesh”. The organizers of Human Chain and Protest rally expressed their grave concern for the destruction and burning of 1500 Hindu household, 50 temples, murder of 3 Hindu minority people, injuring over 100 Hindus in last three days of spreading violence all over Bangladesh.  Such targeted violence upon Hindu minorities by Jamaati hooligans covering 22 districts including Noakhali, Chattagram, Coxbazar, Kumilla, Laxmipur, Gaibandha, Brahmanbaria, Syllet, Satkhira, Bagerhat and  Thakurgaon.

An estimated 100 crores of loss has been levied on Hindus by the torture friendly Jamaati beasts under human skin. The leadership in the protest rally and human chain has been expressed their concern to the deterioration of  minority status of Hindus under an unbearable Islamic persecution and threat perception.

In Bangladesh, some 26,00,000  acres of land was declared as Enemy Property and at least 2 crores of Hindus were compelled to leave Bangladesh under an Islamic conspiracy.

burning of effigy of bd prime minister at silchar

The protest rally and human chain were led by Kanutosh Majumder, Subroto Chowdhury, Gobinda Chandra Pramanik, Basudev Dhar, Ripon Dey, Pinaki Das, R Das Gupta and Sanyasis (Monks) of various Muths (Monasteries) of Dhaka and far sides.

In Bharat (India), the protesters of  ‘Gairik Bharat’ (Saffron India) held a protest demonstration in front of Silchar District Collectorate Office, where they burnt the effigy of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hassina in a protest of recent inhumane torture upon Hindus and destruction and desecration of Hindu Temples in Bangladesh.

Hindu Existence Forum has specific news for upcoming  protest rallies in USA and European Countries to express solidarity with the Bangladesh minorities under a severe torture of the fundamentalist whatever under the regimen of BNP or Awami League. The series of violation of Human Rights and brutal torture upon Bangladeshi Hindus in 1946-47, 1971, 1990, 1992 and 2001 is not only a pathetic history, still it is a horrible experience of death and loss of everything in the days and minutes of 2013 also.

Jamaatis wreak havoc over Hindu minorities in Bangladesh after awarding death sentence to Delawar Hossain Sayedee.

The Enemy of Humanity.

BD Liberation War Criminal

Upananda Brahmachari | BD News Agency | Dhaka | Feb 28 2013 :: Islamic Bangladesh is again on Jihadi fire. Bangladesh was put on the boil today as at least 32 people, including three policemen, were killed and scores injured in violence after a death sentence was handed down to a top leader of the fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami for “crimes against humanity” during the 1971 liberation war. Hindu Minorities were then being targeted in NoaKhali, Satkhira and almost all over Bangladesh, out of a bare outburst of Islamic communalism. The same repetition is now being observed in Noakhali and Chattagram in present situation after Sayeede’s death verdict.

After Jamaat executive council member Delwar Hossain Sayedee was awarded death sentence for 1971 war crimes, the attacks there were carried out from a Jamaat procession protesting the verdict. The violence followed the verdict of the special Bangladeshi tribunal that handed down death penalty to Delwar Hossain Sayedee, vice-president of the party, amid a nationwide shutdown called by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI).

“He (Delwar Hossain Sayedee) will be hanged by neck till he is dead,” pronounced chairman of the three-judge International Crimes Tribunal Justice ATM Fazle Kabir.

Sayeedi was accused of working with the Al-Badr group during the independence struggle and carrying out numerous atrocities, including forcibly converting Hindus to Islam.

His critics say that during the war he formed a small group to loot and seize the property of Bengali Hindus and those who supported independence.

The tribunal found Sayeedi guilty of eight out of the 20 charges levelled against him. These were murder, torture, rape and forcibly converting Hindus to Islam.

Right after the verdict, leaders and activists of Jamaat and its student affiliate Islami Chhatra Shibir took out the procession at Begumganj’s Rajganj Bazar.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Begumganj circle Mahbub Alam Khan said attacks were carried out from that procession and the Hindu temples at Rajganj Bazar, Thakur Barhi and Bainnabarhi areas were vandalised. Reports of molestation of Hindu girls are also hooked up in the widespread news.  In some places Kali and Krishna Temples are completely vandalized.

The attackers also set the residences of Bhuiyan and Banik families on fire, leaving six people injured.

ASP Khan said additional police forces were deployed later.

Meanwhile, activists of Jamaat supporters clashed with police in Noakhali town following the verdict. Shibir activists detonated several crude bombs at that time.

Acting SP Mahbub Rashid said the Shibir men also vandalised 12 buses and torched four more at the Al-Amin Bus Depot at Dattar Haat.

He said police fired at least a hundred rounds from the shotguns to take control of the situation. – See more at:

At least 23 people were killed as the activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir went on the rampage across the country after Sayedee’s verdict, the Daily Star reported.

The victims included the cops, activists of Jamaat, Shibir, Juba League and common people.

Of the deceased, six people, including three policemen, were killed in Gaibandha, four in Thakurgaon, three in Satkhira, two each in Rangpur, Noakhali and Sirajganj while one each in Dinajpur, Natore, Cox’s Bazar and Chapainawabganj.

In Gaibandha after the verdict several thousand supporters of the Islamic party attacked a police outpost in Sundarganj upazila.

They beat three policemen to death and set fire to the outpost. In response, police opened fire, leaving three people killed.

In Thakurgaon about 1,500 Jamaat-Shibir men took out a procession after the verdict and attacked shops and houses of Awami League men and the Hindu community.

Police and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) teams rushed there and fired blank shots and tear shells to disperse the attackers.

Encircling the police, the marauding Jamaat-Shibir men started to throw brick-bats and, at one stage, closed in to fight them. Police opened fire to escape, leaving one dead on the spot and about eight to 10 injured.

A 13-year-old Shibir supporter, was later found lying dead, bullet-hit, inside a shop. Two other persons were declared dead at the Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital, police said.

At least two people were killed and 57 others injured during clashes between the activists of JI-Shibir and the police in the northwestern district of Rangpur.

The deceased were Shibir activists.

In Noakhali after the pronouncement of the verdict, Jamaat and Shibir activists set fire to a temple and houses of Hindu community.

Two people were killed as the activists clashed with law enforcers at different points in Noakhali.

In Dinajpur, a Shibir man was killed and two sustained bullet wounds when the BGB men opened fire on activists of JI and Shibir.

Three people in Satkhira, two in Sirajganj and one each in Cox’s Bazar and Chapainawabganj, were killed in violence following the verdict.

An Awami League activist was hacked to death in Natore district.

JI activists also attacked police camps at different places.

Authorities earlier called out paramilitary BGB along with the police and elite anti-crime Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) to maintain law and order.

The verdict came as a security blanket covered the capital Dhaka and other major cities after JI called a nationwide shutdown coinciding with the date of the judgement, while thousands of youngsters enforced a street vigil demanding the capital punishment for the war criminals.

Following the verdict, thousands of youngsters celebrated beating drums and chanting slogans in the capital and several other major cities where transport plied in large numbers and offices and businesses remained open defying the JI strike call.

“Hang the war criminals, ban Jamaat-Shibir,” they shouted parading the city streets.

No clash was reported in Dhaka though witnesses said JI activists tried to make visible their presence on the street exploding homemade bombs and staging street marches at places but fled the scenes as police chased them with rubber bullets and tear gas canisters.

Massive Human Chain – Protest Rally in Dhaka to Arrest and Punish Biswajit Killers.

Posted by hinduexistence on December 15, 2012

Human Chain Biswajit 14-12-12 Dhaka Press Club

Biswajit Murder: BJHM & SIF Human Chain and Protest Rally in Central Press Club, Dhaka.

”We demand immediate arrest and punishment of the killers of Biswajit.  Otherwise Home Minister must Go Down”.

SIF Human Chain Biswajit Killing 14-12-12 DhakaDHAKA | 14 Dec 2012 :: A huge Human Chain was organised in front National Press Club of  Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. In protest of brutal killing of Biswajit Das in open daylight in the street of Dhaka amidst a nationwide bandh (blockade)  on Dec 9th, called by ’18-party-alliance’ of the opposition,  this Human Chain and protest rally were organised by  Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote (BJHM) and Sanatan International Foundation (SIF), Bangladesh. Starting at 10-30 this morning the programme was continued more than two hours. In the middle of that programme the aggrieved agitators in the Human Chain protest rally, blocked the adjacent roads by sitting an lying on road that created a traffic jam for a while. [Program duration at human chain is 10.30.am to 11.45 am. Procession and road block program time duration is 12.00 pm to 01.10 pm].

The rally demands the resignation of the BD Home Minister MK Alamgir as he cannot avert liability of the killing of Biswajit and for the alleged inaction to arrest and punish the culprits connected with Biswajit.

Addressing the programme, Biswajit’s cousin Nabin Das said, “Home Minister could not avoid responsibility of the killing. So he should quit from his post shouldering the liabilities.” He also demanded exemplary punishment to the killers.

Nobin alleged that high-ups of the government are trying to save the killers through making derogatory, confusing and light comments on the killing.

Beauti Bonik, sister of late Biswajit, however, could not speak much as she burst into tears in the programme. She only demanded punishment to the killers on immediate effect.

It was substantiated through the first proof from the media coverage (both electronic and print), a 24-year-old tailor Biswajit was brutally killed by a group of ruling party-backed Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL – student union of Awami League) activists during the road-blockade of the opposition 18-party alliances on December 9. But, Mr Abul Klam Azad, Press Secretary of Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Awami League Supremo, categorically denied it and claimed BNP-Jamat connection with the murder so far.

Now it has been authenticated that most of the killers were students of BD capital’s Jagannath University (JnU) and Kabi Nazrul University College.

After the heinous murder the Home Minister Mahiuddin Khan  Alamgir also repeatedly denied Chhatra League link with the killers.

Press Release BJHMBut JnU authorities expelled 3 of the killers from the university and cancelled certificates of 2 for their involvement in the killing. Still photos and video footages clearly show the killing incident which drew huge criticisms across the country and the social media like facebook and twitter. May be as repercussion, the Officer-in-charge of Sutrapur Police station, Mr Nazrul Islam has been transferred to Police Training Academy in the evening of the day of protest, as reported.  A Dhaka Court today placed three accused of Biswajit killing case–Nahid, Kibria and Kaium–who were arrested earlier, on 8-day remand for police interrogation in the case.

In a press statement, Advocate Gobinda Chandra Pramanik, the Gen. Secy. of Bangladesh Jatiyo Hindu Mohajot (BJHM) expressed the  anxiety of Bangladesh Hindu Minorities as the State Administration and the Police are very much reluctant to prosecute the murderers of Biswajit and with a silent support of the Police the Hindus of Dinajpur, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Chattagram and Coxbazar were victimized in various torture like loot and dacoity, abduction and arson to their houses and so on in recent times.

In the press statement of BJHM, it is also stated that it was very strange and fatal decision that the Central Administration did not deploy the RAB to check the situation on apprehension for which the culprits were chanced to kill Biswajit in a meaningless deployment of inept police force.

The rally was attended and addressed by  Freedom Fighter- Smt Roma Das, dignitaries, rights activists, advocates, artists  and  intellectuals like: Prof. Nikhil C. Paul (Chairman SIF), Justice Jhumur Ganguli (Rtd.), Adv. Rabindranath  Ghosh (Bangladesh Minority Watch), Chitra Paul (HBCUC, EU), Muhammad Abdul Khaleque (Bangabandhu National Independence Council), Pinaki Das (Natioal President, BJHYM), Ripon Dey (Joint Secretary, SIF), Topon Chokraborty (Rights Activist, SIF), Prof. Sushil Mahato, Prof. Ananda Biswas,  Smt, Madhuri Roy (Artist) and many others.

The veteran Freedom Fighter of Bangladesh Mukti Yuddha, Smt. Roma Das told in a great sensation that the Nation has its definite duties to protect its citizens. So, the State machinery must not the victim of street politics. She strongly demanded the immediate justice in this brutal murder of very very innocent Biswajit Das

Chitra Paul the International advisor of BJHM and the Hindu Buddha Christian Unity Council, European Union Leader (HBCUC, EU) told that the name of ‘Biswajit’ is not a name any more, rather it has been symbolized as an icon of a piety Hindu minority to whom this Nation has no answer for the safety, security and the dignity of same people under a threat of majority to minority. She claimed proper and fast adjudication of the case now laundering in a course of reluctance and inaction.

Adv. Rabindranath  Ghosh (Bangladesh Minority Watch), a veteran Human Rights Activist in Bangladesh pointed out the deprivation of BD minorities in both the constitution and politics for which such discrimination and the torture can happen time and again. Adv Ghosh demanded immediate justice to the bereaved family of Biswajit by booking all the perpetrators of Biswajit Murder and revival of a true democratic rights and law-enforcement to stop killings of innocent people like Biswajit.

Muhammad Abdul Khaleque, Spokes Person of Bangabandhu National Independence Council (BNIC) sensitized the secular conscience by saying that Biswajit was my brother and this land must provide the equal rights to live for every minority Hindu, Buddhist, Christian like the majority Muslims. So, rejecting all political equations and others the murderers of Biswajit must be drawn up under exemplary punishment.

Pinaki Das , Joint Secretary of Sanatan International Foundation (SIF) thanked the Media persons who took the video footage in severe risk and continuously reporting in  both print and electronic media to reveal the truth of Biswajit murder. He requested to Smt. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister and Mr. MK Alamgir, Home Minister, Bangladesh for an ensured application of  law and control over the total situation so that minorities would  be protected meaningfully. He also demanded immediate arrest of the actual culprits in a sagacious manner.

Over a thousand protesters including some monks from different temples and monastery of Dhaka and obviously the family members were present in the human chain and protest rally. Some of them put black badges and displayed many banners and posters, in one of which it was written: ” ‘আমি হিন্দু’, জামায়াত-শিবির নই…” (I am a Hindu; I am not a supporter of Jamat, Don’t Kill Me”). Another was displayed: “We demand punishment for Biswahit Murder, Prime Minister – Give us answer”.

Bangladesh Jatiyo Hindu Mohajot (BJHM) warned the Awami League Govt in Bangladesh to start indefinite and bigger agitation everywhere in Bangladesh, if all the culprits of Biswajit murder are not arrested within 3 days.
